We rode on this and been there in the summer time
It looks like a lot of fun. We've been past it several times when we're in the Frankenmuth area but it's usually closed.
TrainsRecordsCats It's open from the end of May to the beginning of September. There are also spooky trains in October. They are closed on Mondays and their hours are 10 AM to 5PM.
I'll definitely try to visit here someday!
On Ride-All-Day Specials all the trains are running.
Too bad their closing it up, their not running the trains after Halloween and their not running daily trains after labor day. going for the last time tomorrow and will miss it, I've come here at least twice a year and always came for their railroad days. I'm just glad to have seen it when it was running, at least their keeping the Hobby Shop open.

Sorry, but you don't have the world's only diamond on a trestle. Deval Tower in Des Plaines, Illinois has two real railroads crossing each other on a bridge.
When was it built?
I'm no expert, but searching online says that the junction was interlocked in 1893 and the current bridge, which was intended to be a "temporary" bridge but never got replaced, was built in the 1930s.
hecad84 Oh. I believe they said it was the only diamond trestle for that scale, but I'm not sure.
