Every car looks slow at Knoxville. Track is huge and narrow so they don't throw them into the corners like at other big tracks.

I bet you could get a UMP modified to run faster laps than the non wing cars if you worked on it enough at Knoxville.

@@fewworddotrickI don't think they should run the non wing cars on a track this big. Obviously the safety aspect, but also they don't leave a good impression on fans who have only watched wing cars. Now, I love to see it because these cars are fucking awesome and the drivers are badass, but like I said earlier the wing fans don't appreciate it because they're obsessed with speed. Non wing cars are super exciting at bullrings.
Also watching this highlight it hit home with me how much faster the super late models have gotten. Definitely much faster than these at a big 1/2 mile. Probably about the same speed on the short tracks.
So that means late models are actually faster than sprint cars. "Winged" Sprint Cars are faster. Now I would like to see late models with the tall sideboard. I bet if they got enough time to dial it in they'd go as fast a 410 wing car.

@@dantheman5907 A "real" dirt mod? 😂 The IMCA style modifieds probably outnumber those mud busses 20-1. Literally no one outside of the NE cares about them. They'll be replaced the IMCA style mods and late models sooner than later. The IMCA/UMP/Wissota/USRA mods just raced for $100K to win last weekend in WI. When's the the $100K to win mud bus race? Or $100K to win non wing race.
