That's awesome, my Dad started carrying me to the races when I was 5 and he passed away 2 years ago. This 1992 World 100 was the 1st World 100 that he ever went to, very cool to see this, thanks!!
I just found this out I love dirt car racing this is cool as hell I'm from Tennessee and I have always went to a track called thunder Hill in Lawrenceburg TN a great track for racing and I also go to a track in Alabama called North Alabama speed way a lot of good racing but the best driver I have ever seen race was a older guy named gean champ he has passed away now but it was amazing to see what he could do on a track in a race car he could find a way to win even in someone else's car that he had never drove before I seen him do It!!!! But I am so glad to have found all this video to watch ❤️😍!!!
I wish racing was still like this were teams could try almost anything they wanted and every car didn't like the exact same like they do now days to many rules anymore
no rock screen,s and window nets, im betting some guys arent wearing gloves either, nice looking cars compared to the cookie cutter bodies ,these days.
+Nathan hill The drivers and crews were trying to keep their rear end set-ups and tire choices a secret. Used to see several fights break out when the crews felt someone was trying to steal their secrets. Anyone remember the #JackBoggs and #ScottBloomquist protect the car wars back then? Man that was fun to watch!
bj white I’m from jacks neck of the woods I’m too young to remember him racing they claim he was a lot better than his son racing late models back in the day. Gone but not forgotten.
Damn if you could only smell the racing fuel. I've tried to get my wife to wear it as perfume but couldn't talk her in to it. This was the good ol days those where the best looking best sounding late models ever. Hell of a lot better than that body rolling rearend moving hopping, bouncing shit they run now.
This upload is in Honor of my Dad who started taking me to the local dirt tracks when I was a kid. Thanks Dad. Happy Fathers Day
Nice.......
Rip to the legend Scott Bloomquist! #TeamZero 🕊️👽🛸☯️⛓️☠️🖤

Sad that Black Jack Boggs son, Jackie Boggs, also passed away just last year.
Sure miss the Boggs in DLMR. Did you ever see the Black Jack, Bloomquist wars? That was some fun times.

Why did they cover the rear and fender wells
To keep their set up "secret"
Wow...pretty crude cars compared to today.
why did they cover their back tires and rear end of the race car back then?

Or when they stuck the occasional crew member back there to make weight
