చంద్రబాబు 1995 - 2004 లో సీఎం గా ఉండగా , Hi-Tech city కట్టిన తరువాత, బిల్ గేట్స్ appointment తీసుకుని, ప్రెజంటేషన్ ఇచ్చి, తరువాత అమెరికా వెళ్లి గేట్స్ ను ఒప్పించి, హైదరాబాద్ లో Microsoft development center తీసుకొచ్చారు. దాని రాకతో, IT Development, శరవేగంగా సాగింది, మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ ను చూసి, తరువాత మిగత MNC లు హైదరాబాద్ కు క్యూ కట్టాయి. అంతే కాదు చంద్రబాబు సీఎం గా ఉండగానే, హైదరాబాద్ బిజినెస్ స్కూల్ వచ్చింది ,, జినోమ్ వాలీ, Hitex కన్వెన్షన్ సెంటర్, శిల్పా రామం, మర్రిచెన్నారెడ్డి మానవవనరుల శిక్షణ కేంద్రం, గచ్చిబౌలి స్టేడియం కట్టబడ్డాయి. Shamsabad International airport కు కూడా ప్రపోజ్ చేసింది, డిఫెన్స్ వారిని ఒప్పించి ల్యాండ్ సేకరించింది చంద్రబాబే. తరువాత వైస్సార్ సీఎం అయ్యాక, అది పూర్తి అయ్యింది.
