Oh, I love Rio it was my favorite movie when I was young.
Seeing Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal in the same scene is absolutely mind-blowing. And Peter Cullen to Transformers is like Stan Lee to Marvel, he deserves to be in a featurette. Peter Cullen is in his 80s, but is still giving it his all as Optimus Prime! Absolute Legend!

I am still shocked how good a job Peter Dinklage did at voicing Scourge. When I heard him being cast, I laughed, but then I heard him in the trailers, and I started to have more confidence. Finally, I heard him as Scourge in the completed film, and I was blown away. The entire cast did a great job, but Peter Cullen and Peter Dinklage were standout performances for me.
I feel the same way. I was also shocked by Pete Davis performance.

The G.I. Joe teaser had my whole theater gasp out loud when he saw the card including me. I’m a huge G.I. Joe fan so I was so excited after that twist
I saw this in theaters, I grew up with these films and I’ll say, I did tear up when primal saves prime from unicron and “arrival to earth” from the 2007 movie plays. The musical call backs and Easter eggs all combined with a nice plot and close to g1 designs really helps this movie stand out
Being a fan of Bumblebee, seeing him fall into another near death situation saddened me. But when he came back to lay down some Autobot justice in the climax, I was hyped as could be. He’s a real trooper!😁
If they had to bring him back to life later on in the movie it's not near death; it's actual death.

Rise of the Beasts is my favorite cinematic Transformers film to date! Seeing the interactions between the Autobots and Maximals was very cool and the battles were amazing as well.

It’s really good, I agree. But my favorites are 1. Transformers (the first one) 2. Bumblebee & then ride of the beast is 3rd. But the G.I. Joe twist at the end made it worth it all, automatically made it the best movie of the year so far. Although I haven’t seen mission impossible dead reckoning part 1 yet which I’m hearing is the best film of the year so I’ll see if my opinion changes

Airazor died scene made me cry so much, Airazor telling Primal it is ok with the pain in Primal face, it got to me, I couldn't stop crying.😭❤️🦅
I loved this movie when I went to see it. I laughed at some parts, got emotional at others, I got a little bit annoyed at others, too. I wasn't expecting to love Mirage as much as I did, given who his voice actor was, but surprise surprise. The teamwork between the Autobots and the Maximals as they worked together to take down the Terrorcons and Unicron was amazing. I felt my jaw drop when I saw Scourge kill Bumblebee, but I was ecstatic when he made his epic entrance into the fight after being re-energized by all the Energon deposits.
Honestly, hearing the voices of Peter Cullen and Ron Perlman in the same movie is way too cool to not love. I give this movie a solid 9/10.
Agreed, I don’t like Pete Davidson but I when I went to the theater I was concerned with how he would play mirage but during the movie I rarely even saw or heard Pete Davidson if you know what I mean and I haven’t watched the OG transformers so I didn’t know squat about terracons, etc but the movie was good. Im disappointed that some fans dislike it and the box office wasn’t good even though the director put so much passion and effort in making this movie

@@senzanome7302 I never got that message, but I feel bad too. People are so spoiled on G1 and Beast Wars. This is a perfect amalgamation of those two series, plus the live-action movies. I have very little complaints about it.
Hearing No sacrifice, No victory and arrival to earth gave me tears 😍
You can also hear "Calling all Autobots" from TLK near the very end too.
I saw this in cinemas and I absolutely love it!! It's my favourite Transformers film out of the entire series and the Fact Peter Cullen really enjoyed voicing in this one so much is a plus. The cast did an amazing job especially Peter Dinklage and Pete Davidson. I hope we get to see more of the Maximals in future films!

I’m glad they decided that Bumblebee and this movie are reboots and not prequels, now they can start a new franchise!

@@jeremyrodriguez9763 I just watched the movie and at 35:24 Bee tells Optimus “They are my friends” in which Optimus replies “I know one was good to you, Bee but this is not our world. The humans will always protect what is theirs. We can only trust our own kind.” In which Bee hysterically responds with “You can handle the truth” and is told no more drive-in theaters.

Who else here was much more impressed with Scourge than Megatron, Shatter, Lockdown, Sentinel, and so on? Scourge was so intimidating as a Villain and he was the best aspect of the movie for me

I actually watched this movie in theaters, and it released on my birthday. What better way to celebrate my birthday then watching a live action version of Beast Wars?
This movie is good, not as good as Bumblebee, but I'm really glad that the Transformers franchise is back to what made it fun from that first film. Also, the ending got a true WTF moment out of me.

Some might say that this film is kind of boring or it has to much nostalgia but to me, I don't even care because this Transformers movie is awesome despite Peter Cullen may not voice Optimus Prime anymore, Overall, Great reaction Tim.
Ron Perlman has been voicing Optimus Primal for 2 decades.
It was the first movie I've seen in cinema since 2019/20 and I went to see it on my birthdah. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

I really love Rise of the Beasts so much because I really like Transformers movies better.
What I love about this movie how they focus on the story in the story is easy to understand for both transformers fans in casual watchers so they’re not gonna have a hard time understanding which the last knight pretty much failed that because at the end of the day with the last knight, the story was confusing. Also, they introduced other fractions of cybertronian the terracons the Maximalism also other factions are hinted at when you look at scourge body because they’re different insignias, for the elite guard insectacons predacons and this new incarnation is taking the time to build up Unicron
Honestly amazed that it's taken this long before they finally put Transformers and GI Joe together. They've done comic books together before, but doing them in a movie seems so obvious, so why not?
Oh, you KNOW I've been waiting for this! Undoubtedly the best written Transformers movie! While I do prefer Dark Of The Moon and Age Of Extinction, this movie was just phenomenal 🙌 And you at least appreciate it more since you've seen the 1986 movie
I hate to see Airazor die after being infected. You can tell the look on Primal’s face that he didn’t want to kill her, but she said that it was ok, and told him to do what he had to do. I wish they could bring her back like they did to Bumblebee though 😢
I know, I cried like a baby, I love Bumblebee but Airazor just got to me more, I am so happy that Airazor now has her own Funko Pop figure, can't wait to get it.😭❤️🦅

Yeah this one was great, I wish we did get a little more of the Maximals, but I’m happy for what it is… to keep you up with what’s coming for the transformers films in the future.
2 sequels for Rise of the Beasts are confirmed but not yet filmed or in production yet
Next year in September we’re going to be getting Transformers One (2024) which is a stand alone film taking place in Cybertron as well as the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron or their original names Orion Pax and Megatronus.
Thanks Tim for your movie reactions. Glad you enjoyed this one, the Maximals transforming into their robot modes (Maximize) in the final battle got me tearing up in the theatre lol.
The reason why they refused to transform and only do it on important fight is because ,as I remembered in Beast War lore, Maximals and Predecons have to stay in Beast Mode to avoid Earth’s Radiation. They can still transformed but can’t stay it for very long. Which I’ve guessed, in ROTB Maximals and Predecons has can’t stay in robot mode for too long due to radiation level on the Planet. And the reason why they still in Beast Mode on earth is because of their commonsense. Remember, Cybertronian 5000 years are like 5 weeks for them.
In the original Beast Wars series, they took animal forms to protect themselves from Energon exposure, because the entire planet was seeded with highly unstable energon. Remaining in robot mode too long caused them to glitch out. After the first season though, the energon was no longer a problem. It was a nice device to explain why they needed to be "robots in disguise" when there really wasn't anything to disguise themselves from.
Optimus Primal, Cheetor, Rhinox and Airrazor are all characters from the Transformers Beast Wars series. While the CGI in that series is pretty dated (this came out in late 1990s early 2000s), the writing still makes it some of the best Transformers series of all time IMO. In that the Maximals and Predacons are decendents of the Autobots and Decepticons, who come from 300 years after the original G1 series, and time travel to Earth's distant past. If you get a chance, you can probably find the episodes onlineat least check it out.

Like it is with me on the weekends. 13:28 Peter Cullen is the second oldest voice actor in live action Transformers. He was 71 when he did this. He also hasn’t voice Optimus in all the series. There have been others where they couldn’t afford Peter Cullen. Next year they’re doing an animated Transformers movie with Chris Hemsworth voicing Optimus which is his first time doing an animated feature so it should be interesting to hear his voice as Optimus. 17:13 I’m surprised no reactors have cut to a Star Wars scene when Finn says “They’re flying now?”

Peter Cullen the voice of Optimus prime is a war hero
Personal opinion, this movie was alright, but it could have been better. The action scenes were awesome and the character designs were amazing, but the story fell a little flat to me and I didn't care about most of the characters. I know every movie has plot conveniences, but they were really starting to add up by the end of the movie. I'm completely convinced that going off his performance in the final fight, it was crucial that Bumblebee be "killed" otherwise he would have ended the movie in 15 minutes. That and he would've overshadowed Mirage. I love G.I.Joe, but I didn't like the twist at the end. I want a good G.I.Joe movie, but I feel that them being in the same universe as Transformers isn't going to be executed well.
And that's it for the Transformers franchise in this channel for now.

This is yet another Transformers movie (not directed by Michael Bay) that serves as redemption for the franchise following from Bumblebee. Anthony Ramos was great as the human lead Noah Diaz.

GI Joe and transformers have a history together especially in the G I Joe Comic books.
The original ending to this movie would’ve been Optimus being transported to unicron. I’m happy we got this ending.
The GI Joe end credit scene made me sick, honestly. They missed the chance to tease Megatron.
When watching that film, it looked like the film used the same plot as Zack Snyder's JL film. I see a some similarities in Rise of the Beast: Scourge is like Steppenwolf. The story is about Scourge went to Earth, looking for the keys to open the portal for his master, Unicron, similar to Steppenwolf came to Earth to look for the Mother Boxes to open the portal for his master, Darkseid. Bumblebee returned from the dead, and easily took down the Terracon armies is like Superman returned from the dead, and easily beat down Steppenwolf.
I think Bumblebee is absolutely adorable 😊
Rise of the Beasts is on the top three favourites on my list. Unlike the previous movies where Optimus Prime is like a hero character, in this movie he has a character arc, where he learns that humans can be trusted and blaming himself that the Autobots are stuck on earth. In a lot of ways, this version of Optimus Prime kinda reminds me of the Optimus from the Netflix TF War for Cybertron trilogy series. Seeing Unicron on the big screen as his og self from the '86 movie was awesome, although the traliers kinda spoiled that reveal. Bumblebee dying in this movie and was later revived was also kinda spoiled in the trailers as it showed bumblebee getting stabbed by scourge and later on in the tralier bumblebee was seen riding along with cheetor in his vehicle mode. So, yeah, a couple of moments were spoiled if you've watched the trailers but this is one of the better TF movies that we've gotten. There were two moments in the movie that had me going 'hell yeah' when watching it which are when both Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal commanded the Autobots and Maximals to 'Roll Out!' and also Optimus Primal telling Rhinox and Cheetor to 'Maximize!' That was an iconic moment from the Beast Wars cartoon where when the Maximals transform from beast to robot mode they will say 'Maximize!' while the Predacons (the enemy faction) will say 'Terrorize!'. The action in this movie is quite well shot as u are able see everything that is going on. There are also quite a number of deleted/alternate and extended scenes that got cut from the movie, in addition some characters as well. The opening scene of this movie was going to be quite different. The alternate opening scene was going to show that the autobots have stranded on earth for quite a while and optimus was hunting down decepticons and trying to find out where their ship is and the scene ends off with optimus having brutal fight with a decepticon, killing him before dumping his body into the new york habour. There was also going to be another alternate ending scene instead off optimus getting saved by noah and primal, optimus was going to get sucked away with the debris and floating in space before we get the reveal off unicron's eyes and saying 'Prime' and then cut to black where the movie ends.
You may the actor who voiced Scourge, Peter Dinklage, who played Tyrion Lannister in GoT was an excellent choice for a villian. And undoubtfully Peter Cullen who voiced Optimus Prime in the majority of the TF series and movies. He's an absolute legend.
As for G.I.Joe, yes it is owned by hasbro and there have been comics of transformers and G.I.Joe crossover but they were done pretty poorly from what I've heard. So I'm extremely skeptical of hasbro trying to do it for the live action TF movies as it could be really good or really bad, which can't be said for the recent G.I.Joe Snake Eyes origin movie which came out in i think 2020 or 2021 that bombed in box office earnings. I've watched the G.I.Joe movies that came out in 2009 and 2013 and honest opnion, they were alright, not the best but still worth a watch, depending on who u ask.
I would love for u to react to Transformers Prime as it is one of the best TF series out there apart from the G1 cartoon. The character designs of the series are inspired from the Micheal Bay movies and the overall story is excellent throughout the 3 seasons + a movie called Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising.

Idk if someone else in the comments mentioned this but they are making a crossover between Transformers and G.I. Joe because obviously Hasbro owns G.I. Joe and because Marvel Comics once made a 4-issue miniseries of the G.I. Joe comics featuring the Transformers.
The story had the G.I. Joe Team and the Autobots joining forces to stop the Decepticons and Cobra from destroying the world.

I don’t mind a Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover to be 3hrs long. Like a 3hrs run-time. Totally worth it. Hope Anthony Ramos, Doninique Fishback, Hailee Steinfield, Jorge Lendeborg, Jr, and John Cena comes back.
I also hope Pete Davidson comes back as Mirage, and I’m glad that he’s alive too.

If they ever decide to bring back Bumblebee’s real voice, I hope Dylan O’ Brien comes back again to voice him.
That final battle in theaters was awesome

Optimus Prime nearly sacrifice to fight Unicron in space but Noah will not let him die in the film and emotions from Noah was sad and devastated 😢 💔 😔 😞
There were a few things I didn’t love, but it was still really nice to get a Transformers movie after 5 years. Feels like they’re close to getting the formula just right.
And yes, Hasbro does own G.I. Joe too.

transformers and g.i joe have been connected from the start. all comics universes have connected to g.i joe even the first by marvel, what were also connected to main 616 universe from marvel comics. the g1 series also is connected but only had some characters show up.

Surprise, Tim! It's a GI Joe reboot teaser! And yes, both toy lines are owned by Hasbro. And I feel you about the priciness of toys, seems like the only way to buy them for a fair price is to be american or pray for discounts(my country sells them for twice or even thrice their US price!).
The scene where G.I joe is revealed had me exited. If you ever watched/remember the og tranformers tv show there was a 1 or 2 part episode where the transformers and g.i joe team up together to stop cobra

I get why people are saying the CGI is not as good as the Michael Bay films, and yeah, it's not, and there are a few scenes where it's not great, but I thought CGI was still fantastic.

( I don't know if you know it but few other cybertronians have unique abilities like telepathy, teleportation and other things. I heard that in comics, they started to categorized them as Outliers.)
-As much as I like Wheeljack being in the movie, I am not a fan of his design. I get that in some transformers continuity, his role was a scientist and apparently in this case too but do they really need to put that glasses to emphasize that he's the smart bot? Do robots even need glasses? If they're going to put him in glasses, at least make it cooler! I'm petitioning for a cooler design! 🤣
-I am not used to this version of Optimus Prime. This one doesn't trust humans easily and it was hard not to dislike him because I'm used to him being an advocator of giving any sentient being a trust and chance. But this was just my bias speaking. Logically, he's not really bad and have reasons why this version acts the way he does. Its realistic personality to for someone that is in the middle of war.
-The first transformers I watched when I was a child was the beast wars and I never really finished watching an episode of it because of its weird animation. But when I became more familiar with transformers, I've decided to see and check what its all about. From my understanding, in the beast wars, these... 'beast transformers' were supposedly to be DESCENDANTS of the cybertronians we came to know and live and its story takes place long after the war between the autobots and decepticons. Apparently, Beast Wars were supposedly to be a sequel to the first Transformers cartoon. Its weird and as much as I want to say that I don't like the idea where 10 foot tall robots suddenly evolved and have descendants that can transform into beasts in the SAME SIZE as our animals, I can't because somehow some parts of the beast wars were still intruiging and worth to think about.
In any case, I'm actually pleased that they took this approach of Maximals living in the same time period as the Autobots and Decepticon and have it just another faction of transforming robotic species and was actually in gigantic size. I just watched it just for the sake of seeing Primal and Prime meet each other while also wondering how Primal would answer about why his name was like that since in this universe, they were not their descendants and it did not disappoint.
-G.I. Joe does have some history in Transformers. I don't have any knowledge regarding the crossover between the two other than that, but yeah... it a thing

Hope to see Hailee Steinfield and John Cena coming back from Bumblebee to sequel to a crossover to GI JOE and Transformers with Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, and I wish it gets a 3hrs run-time this time.
Also, if another Transformers movie takes place after the events of The Last Knight, I really wish and hope that Dylan O’ Brien (who voiced Bumblebee in the prequel Bumblebee) could return to reprise his role as the voice of Bumblebee in my opinion since he got his voice back in The Last Knight (even though O’Brien didn’t voiced him though)
You probably already know but this wouldnt be the first time there was a gi joe crossover in the orginal transformers show there was a crossover aswell as in the comics
Bumblebee and RoTB is a reboot in case your confused.

Hi Nick if you’re still interested in more Transformers action there is series called “Transformers Prime” and I have to admit this is a great series of the transformers series… it has some upbeat and dark elements and if you do get the chance to react to it… oh boy you won’t be disappointed… there are other good series like G1 and WFC (Netflix Series), but TF Prime is the one to check out… I thought I would recommend you this series since the next transformers film won’t be out until next year.

I saw this in cinemas and I love bumblebee very my favorite
