Anti-IDF is not pro-Hamas anymore then anti-IraqWar was pro-Saddam.
We are helping to fund 🇮🇱 war effort, along with all the proxy wars for 🇮🇱 in the ME the 🇺🇸 has had a hand in.
The last vote was eighteen years ago, and half the people are too young now to have voted Hamas in, and polls are unreliable.
In the end, the ICJ, the Geneva Conventions, and world opinion has said 🇮🇱 does not get to retaliate to whatever degree they wish.
And followers of Torah Ju da ism, NatureiKarta, and other religious being against the IDF isn't pro-Hamas either.

What happened to free speech? The students are allowed to protest. At least they are speaking up against genocide. Can the Biden administration say the same ?
Can I protest in your home?
@@Isaac-eh6uu You can protest outside my home. Its your First Amendment right.
The kids are protesting genocide: how can there be any opposition to that democratic - HUMAN right ??
They are happy to get funds from Qatar where the leaders of Hamas are currently residing. Don’t these universities teach courses on ethics or is it all wokeness.
They called the protesters comrades and I saw a China flag and communism flag waving among those Palestine flags😂
@@kori6239 I have to say that it will be a sad day for humanity when the only people protesting genocide are communists.
Colleges should be a safe place of students to protest. It should be encourage
Colleges should be a place for educated debate. But now these coddled children are protesting against something they don't understand. They don't know the history, the cultures, and probably can't find the location. These colleges have expelled teachers and students for pronouns but its ok if jewish students are harassed, its stinks of hypocrisy.
Not when they are inciting violence and calling for genocide!
@@DisgustedAussie There has not been one police-documented case at Columbia of any physical violence being brought against anyone by the student protesters on campus. If calling for Palestine to be free from the river to the sea is akin to calling for genocide, then the British better get a new national anthem. Because "My Country Tis Of Thee" calls for freedom to ring from every mountainside.
YOUNG PEOPLE UNITED FOR PEACE 💯🌷✊🏼✊🏾✊🏿✊🏽
Just not for the country they are in. Let that continue to get worse....
By burning American flags and waving h@m@s flags? 😂 Yeah ok
lol… same ignorant people who don’t even know what from the river to the sea means 😂
As long as Hamas exists what peace?
That this harassment continues to be allowed, is a reflection of the school's President and leadership - As soon as the school's wealthy donors pull the money, Then you will see how fast the President will react to break up this sad situation
Israel helped to create Hamas. There is literally a washington post article about it in 2014.
The media is raping your mind.
Let's hope.
Propaganda is not education.
The truth cannot be stopped by violence man
Looks 'mostly peaceful' to me.
Zoomers aren't going to war, so the media and politicians can jot that down. The young on left and right are united on that front, and so are many others.
Go study in Palistine!
Israel has destroyed all the Palestinian universities, along with its hospitals.
Wasn’t the Vietnam war stopped due to protests?
I’m 37 so not old enough to recall.

@@DaKrawnik
Isn’t asking questions a form of educating yourself?
Aren’t people on this discourse here to ask questions and gives opinions?
Meow my friend
The protests had a lot to do with the reduction in US presence in the war. But the war itself did not end until the democrat-controlled US Congress in 1975 stopped all military aid for the South VietNam government as a punishment against Republicans for Nixon's Watergate caper. Without that military aid, the South Vietnamese military could no longer defend their country against the attacks from the North and the country was over-run.
IT was a part.......67 and I side with these kids. Wish I could be there myself but don't want to be seen as an outside agitator. Would send $$$ for food and such for those kids IF I knew where to send it.
They have no right to demand anything!
And British settlers in Australia has no right to speak about US affairs
It happening world wide! Mainly as a result of "US affairs"
Why can't these students behave like Good Germans and allow the Final Solution for Palestine to play out as planned?
wtf does this student think they can “demand” anything from a private university.
Simple. Students pay tuition. They don't want to pay tuition to an institution that invests in terror and ethnic cleansing. So, they want the university to disinvest from the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Students have more power over a research university than people may think. Because the best Professors need bright students to assist them in their research, and the universities gather a substantial amount of money from the grants that fund that research. So in order to attract the best students, universities need to be seen as cooperative places for students to learn.
@@raycommisso6448 Yes, faculty all over the country are coming out to form protective circles around the courageous students opposing genocide.

-Isaiah 53:10-12
Look at what Americans allow? lol
In america you have liberty to be a nazy but you can not speak about palestinian genocide
What right do the students have to demand where the investments go? If the students dont like it they can go to another school.
Because the students do not want to be affiliated with a school that invests in genocide. Now yes, you are perfectly correct that they can go to another school, but leaders don't cut and run from societal problems. Rather they confront them and seek to solve them.
Rightly or wrongly, these students see themselves as the global leaders of tomorrow, their school has taught them to believe that. They are simply exercising that leadership by forcing the university to take a stand against genocide, which is a noble place for a leader to be and is sorely lacking in both the US government and the Columbia administration.
@raycommisso6448 anyone who calls this a genocide is just parroting nonsense. Israel is going after hamas no different than any other country would do. 80% of palestinians support the butchery of 10/7. And if these college students are our future leaders we are done. Europe has already fallen. Sharia is on the way here too. And then these college children will see what they wanted. We have forgotten 9/11. We are fools.
I will never watch cbs ever again
Um ok.
Gee. That's too bad. CBS will really miss you.

Is she a journalist or an activist? Bc it seems as though she is very bias.
Because nondenominational Zionist evangelicals aren’t biased???
She is a journalist reporting on what the students are protesting for. That's not bias.
Reporting what the protestor's demands are and summarizing what's going on is not "bias," you're just framing it that way because she's a student.
Biased news
How?

1930s Germany would be so proud
Negesse speaks eloquantly.
Kind of odd that so many have the same New tents. Sloppy....
Parts of Paris have zoning regulations that demand the buildings all have the same facade, so perhaps they are trying to emulate the Parisians.
Or maybe they all ordered the same cheap tent from Wal Mart because college kids generally aren't wealthy?
This reminds me of 1973 Chile 🇨🇱 Where students were demanding this, wanting that and then Agosto Pinochet came on the scene and put an end to that real quick.
The US CIA put the end to the Allende government and the protests against their claimed US imperialism in South America, and then installed Pinochet. The US government was not going to allow a major South American country to become aligned with the Soviet Union, which was what US intel agencies believed would happen had the avowed Marxist Allende remained in power.
Does Vietnam ring a bell at all?
@@rc-st9pg Some people just want to serve the masters. They protect them.
The US CIA arranged the overthrow of Allende and installation of Pinochet in Chile, because the US government would not tolerate a major South American country being aligned with the Soviet Union. The actions of the Israeli government against the Palestinians are connected to the US only insofar as the US provides the war planes and the bombs.
@@rc-st9pg , Very different! After Kent State a political decision was made to let the lunatics run the insane asylum. Pinochet took control of the education system and rid them of all the miscreants and malcontents. After that, the university system was brought back into focusing on actual education and learning and not indoctrinating students and giving them useless degrees!
