Ubud was also where I stayed in my visit to Bali 4 years ago! I remember getting to check out a few different things there from the monkey forest to the Tirta Empul temple and the Kanto Lampo waterfall. The monkeys were really cool to see! I remember taking a Balinese cooking class too which was a lot of fun. For what I can see, I think you covered a lot of great stuff in just 3 days during your group trip you hosted. Well done!

I had a chance to visit Kanto Lampo last year and I loved every moment of it. Unfortunately it was an unplanned, impromptu trip so my friend and I weren't prepared. No swimsuits, no towels, no slippers. It was agony to walk down and see the waterfall and not be able to jump into the water. But so glad to see you had a lot of fun there.

With Durian once you like you'll love it addictively, that's why it's The King of All Fruits because it's much better than rotting Bleu Fromage Roquefort as it's Fresh Fruit but once you're not into it then you'll dislike it that's why it's forbidden at many public places and transportation around Southeast Asia.

Ubud was the only Kingdom that was welcoming foreigners at first. But you can see they're very wary of foreigners. Asia is very spiritually repressive underneath the facade, since the Old World overthrow is more recent there; more rituals still practiced and more tyranny necessary to keep the real monks/priests from speaking up. The big massacre/cleanse was in the 60s, and pretty much nobody will want to talk to youu about it. Black Magick. It's here in Laos too. Let us know if you come to Luang Phabang in Laos. Make sure you go to Alchemy for a salad or healthy smoothie. If it's still open. It's probably changed a lot from 8-9 years ago when I last went. Oh! And check out the Royal grounds! Salam! 🙏
