Icom 7300 Noise Blanker - my surprise!

Today I switched on my Icom IC 7300 ham radio to use as a general coverage receiver. There was a terrible impulse noise coming from my radio so I turned on the noise blanker. Wow, did it make a big difference! I was surprised!
Normally I do not use the NB function, but here it made a huge improvement to the reception.

I have always found the NB function of my Icom R-75 to be very useful in similar situations when SWL. Thanks for the demo!

I have my 7100 NB set at 5 and it works great. I am mobile and the NB is almost a must... good job Icom...

are you kidding?
do you even have any idea how to adjust the the waterfall reference level?
