My heart broke learning that this seven-ish year old boy was autistic. Had he gotten he right kind of help, he very well could have integrated better into society, like I have. I hope he rests in peace, and that this monster that calls herself a human, Lori, never sees the light of day again.

ex-mormon here: the lore and history of the church, and the things that are normalized in it (baptisms for the dead, faux blood sacrifice during marriage rituals, prophecies of the future from ordained leaders, etc.) often makes it easier for mentally unwell people to stretch those beliefs even further to support their delusions. SO MUCH is normalized within the church that risky behavior is often ignored when its masked with spiritual belief. Amazing video sneeg! i always love the commentary you add :)

The word Lolli I think way back when was another name for a grandma because my mom mentioned it to me as an idea of being called that when she would eventually be a grandmother and I had to unfortunately explain what the term Loli is used now for today. Was a very weird interaction in my life lol.
glad i wasn't here live for this one because this hit WAY too close to home as an ex-mormon autistic person 😬 it kind of validated and fed into my long held fears. i had to pause a lot which wouldn't have worked live anyway LMAO
I'm so sorry if I had violent outbursts when I was a kid due to being overwhelmed in public which didn't excuse that behavior, but I'm glad that my mom didn't decide to harm me because she was tired of taking care of an autistic daughter. I feel so badly for that poor boy.
Regarding true crime, I think Sneeg needs to check out Dreading. I feel he's closer to JCS than a good chunk of the other JCS imitators and doesn't focus on meaningless gestures or histrionic chairs.
just finished watching the documentary on the case (Sins of a Mother) and it was one of the most deranged, depraved, and hopelessly depressing things I had ever seen in my life. seeing the extent of just how far gone Lori was and seeing someone go from protecting her children like a mother bear to killing them because they were "zombies" was jarring. hearing the religious part of it was one of the most upsetting as well. I'm a Christian, and hearing these people act and talk as if they are God and that they will bring about a new age or whatever and their goal is to kill all the "zombies" of the world gave me legitimate fear and chills. I'm talking Anti-Christ chills. false prophets and false promises by lunatics who lost their senses and have a taste for murder. Lord forgive me but I hope they both get the death penalty and are forced to face God with the horrific sins they've committed in his name
Ex-Mormon and I wanted to explain a bit about the whole, "Lori knew JJ would have a short life" or "Chad knew Tammi was supposed to pass away": Mormons believe in the "Gift of Prophecy" and blessings. There is such a thing as a patriarchal blessing, which is where a bunch guys who have the "priesthood" lay hands upon your head and receive divine prophecy about your specific life trajectory. It can be as vague as,"You'll live a long and fruitful life" to as specific as how many miscarriages you'll have before you finally have your first baby, or some specific major life event, such as the death of a loved one. It's basically a religious horoscope and it's complete bullshit, but I knew people who shaped their lives around these readings, basing careers on them because it might improve their chances of meeting their eternal soulmate. Shit's wild.
I hadn't heard about this case until now. As an autistic person and an ex-mormon this is... wow. What Sneeg mentioned about Lori referring to JJ as a zombie possibly being because of his autistic traits I think is likely to be true. Mormonism places a lot of worth in sameness. Seeing different as bad is common. It also seems likely to me that Lori (through the lens of Mormonism) led herself to believe she was doing the right thing throughout all of this. Obviously that is not at all an excuse for such horrible deeds. I hope she gets what she deserves. I hope whatever is possibly beyond this life treats JJ and Ty Lee kindly. May they rest in peace.
@@treysonbates6110 Ah! I seem to have misinterpreted your reply. I thought you were saying I was also a monster and I was saying THAT is not ok. Obviously saying a murderer is a monster is reasonable. I apologize for that misunderstanding. Let me reply to your original reply now that I understand what you meant... My comment was not necessarily meaning that Mormonism says murder is fine. I know they don't, technically. My original comment was meaning that many ideals Mormonism pushes lead people to be less accepting of those who are "different", more close minded, more self centered, and more likely to believe themselves to be in the right when they are very clearly not. Knowing that Lori was Mormon and seeing / hearing her justify her actions is unsurprising to me based on how I've witnessed Mormon people act. Now, I'm not saying all Mormons are bad people or murderers. No. Mormonism is a high pressure group. I think many Mormons have been too heavily persuaded to be able to recognize the toxic behaviors of said group. That saddens me and I wish all Mormons the ability to find true peace (not peace with stipulations).
@@0ddOdd though I disagree on the self centrism and that the church is mostly toxic I do see your point in how people in church is closed minded and distrust difference, though I also find that in many other groups have a equal amount. see where you are coming from and understand that you were saying that she could have negative taken the church message wrong and used it as evidence to justify her crime and I apologize to misunderstand what you were saying.
I never followed this case, but I remember hearing about it when it was happening, as Rexburg is close to my hometown and I'm there all the time, so this is nuts. We've even driven past the house the bodies were found before. It makes it feel more visceral to have something so awful happen so close to home.
Why theres no correlation between are belief and hers, she sickens me, but there is nothing about the church that is connect to her beliefs. That like saying that Ted Bundy is LDS even though he’s beliefs both went against and we’re considered sinful to the church. example “DON’T MUDER PEOPLE” that like saying Timothy McVeigh was beliefs were the same of Roman Catholic. This is insulting and disrespectful to clam that we are anything like this mad woman.
@@treysonbates6110 That was kinda weird to decipher. I'm not saying that anyone who is part of that church are killers. In fact, idk why you would even have that assumption based on the comment I left, I just said I had the same reaction as Sneeg when it was mentioned; nothing more, nothing less.
@@treysonbates6110 We're not saying the people part of LDS are worse, it's the fact that LDS guided her beliefs and also has a history of racism, homophobia, abuse allegations, and sexism that are signaling a red flag.

An autistic person hear to help with respectful wording!! • do not use "high functioning" or "low functioning": this leads to implications that people are "less than" or "subhuman" • do not use "aspergers": though formally used as a diagnosis, it has been found to be no different than autism. Aspergers comes from a nazi who performed inhumane testing on people. • "more autistic" or "less autistic" aren't appropriate either, because it's a spectrum!! Preferably use "lower masking" or "higher masking", respectively. • always use person first language (ie. "Autistic person" rather than "person with autism") • add more in the comments if you want!!
Another way I like to refer to myself instead of masking is high versus low support needs. I personally have low support needs (high masking), and I feel like it reinforces the fact that everyone deserves support.
Idaho is one of those states that I completely forget exists, but when I do remember the only thing that goes through my head is "Idaho? you da hoe" and literally nothing else
Love the Crime Reacts. I was almost a paralegal but I ended up getting sick then being diagnosed with Lupus (autoimmune) and moved back in with my parents. (Lupus is in remission for the past 2 years.) My great-aunt is a retired JP and my mom was a legal secretary for awhile. Paralegal is basically one level up from that and one below a lawyer hierarchy/pay wise. If you ever want me to research a case or anything I'm up for it. I'm taking some editing upgrading courses here and there but they're at my own pace. I live up in Canada so I might have to google some terms but if you're looking into Canadian cases I probably have heard of them. I live near actual prisons, one is for International prisoners i.e. being deported, etc.
We have Raccoons that keep stealing our garbage during the night...so I decided to give them expired food, of like a day or two...and then our food isn't wasted, either.
All things considered, this is one of the only cases where I can solidly say that they were justified in delaying the case due to incompetency. Watching the Netflix documentary, she is entirely unstable and genuinely seems to have no remorse, concern, or understanding of what she did. No matter what, she doesn't deserve to ever be put into the public again.
"Hmm, this raccoon has such a human child looking skull... police won't notice it though because it's a raccoon" -Chad probably Also I hate anyone who uses mental health as a way to get out of court or custody, it just gets you put in worse places than prison while still being detained.
I’m sure everyone knows at this point, but Lori was sentenced to LWOP; however, the story is far from over, since she’s still facing extradition to AZ on murder conspiracy charges there, as well as Chad’s trial set to (hopefully) take place in April 2024. Either way, at least a _portion_ of justice has finally been served. May she decay in her cell forever 🙏
I have a lot of religious trauma from how I was raised, so watching stuff like this is very hard for me. Thanks everyone for watching it with me so I didn't have to feel like I was watching it alone.
You aren't alone in that, friend. Many "religious" folks use it as a shield to commit atrocities, and some of us are the victims. Hope you're doing well now, cheers.
This was a fantastic, thoughtful deep dive on this horrible case. I like watching Hasan react to true crime stuff but would love if he had you on stream to give your insights from the perspective of your background.
This Demon has no soul, I hope she rots in hell for eternity, and I hope her innocent children, and her ex-husband are together in heaven away from that demon. I also hope that people affected by this demonic entity, because it is not a human being, can find the peace they deserve.
This case is disgusting... but it's still ongoing and she might get off easy. Psycho... 😵💫 One thing that the behaviour panel often talks about is that most psychopaths are dumb. Really dumb. Like, they make stupid stuff like burying their victims in their backyard, because they don't consider consequences and/or think they are smarter and superior. Ted Bundy is an exception, which they talk about, but not the norm. So psychopaths who commit crimes tend to be caught, and all we can hope is that they never get out again...
59:50 just wanna say, the age of consent in Japan is not 13. There is a law that prefectures (regions sorta like states) cannot set their ages of consent lower than 13. Every prefecture has set it much higher than that. There is so much that I want to say; I am so angry and hurt on behalf of those kids, and on behalf of everyone the three scumbags that dare to call themselves human have hurt. Those...things...are the reason why some people are calling for certain sects of Christianity to be deems as cults and outlawed entirely. Those things are the reason why people leave the church entirely. It gets ramble-ly and dark below the "Read More". They claim to be doing it in the name of God, and as discussed they violated the Ten Commandments, but in more ways than Thou Shalt Not Kill, and Thou Shalt not Commit Adultery. - Honor Your Mother and Your Father; their actions have directly harmed and dishonored all grandparents involved. Those grandparents now have to carry the burden that some of their children are dead (the deceased spouses), and that their grandchildren have been brutally murdered by their own children. Those aunts and uncles have to carry the burden of their siblings murdering their niece and nephew. Those cousins have to carry the burden of their aunt and uncle being imprisoned for life. The friends of all involved will be branded as well. No one close to the family will ever live that down. Those two scumbags branded everyone they knew for life, and hurt each and every one of them. - Thou Shalt Not Steal; they kidnapped the kids. - Thou Shall Not Bear False Witness; they have lied to everyone they have come into contact with about what they did to those kids, and have now committed perjury by trying to claim "not guilty". - Not a Commandment, but still a big one. Beware False Prophets. He knew he wasn't a prophet yet proclaimed it anyway, and the other willingly followed him against God's wishes. I hope the worst things possible happen to these two people. I hope they are in pain and suffering for the rest of their lives, and that it is prolonged so they may suffer as long as possible. I hope there is a Hell so that they may continue to suffer for eternity. I hope there is a Heaven and that those poor children are being held and comforted by the angels, and given the happiness they were denied on Earth. If they "mysteriously" die in prison (cause Lori was sentenced to "up to life in prison with no parole"), I will celebrate. They deserve no grave, they deserve no forgiveness in the eyes of the Lord, they deserve no memory other than hatred for what they have done.
Okay, saying the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is one of the worst ones is awful. There are awful people everywhere, and the awful things they do don't speak for the church. I'm a member, and I don't go around yelling at people and murdering and whatever else people think mormons do or whatever. It's literally just believing in Jesus. Everyone just listens to the rumors and thinks of us as the craziest and weirdest, but we just believe in Jesus. I'm also autistic, and LGBTQ, and I regularly watch crime time. We're not crazy. People judge too harshly on just rumors and stupid people. Please look past the stupid people and see that we're not nuts, we're just people that like Jesus and want to be good. At 27:40 when the news people were saying they wanna drive darkness and demons out and do all that stuff, that's just not true. We're also not aggressive (well, not supposed to be, obviously individual people are stupid and they ruin it for everyone else). It's not a cult, it's literally just a religion. ex-mormon here: the lore and history of the church, and the things that are normalized in it (baptisms for the dead, faux blood sacrifice during marriage rituals, prophecies of the future from ordained leaders, etc.) often makes it easier for mentally unwell people to stretch those beliefs even further to support their delusions. SO MUCH is normalized within the church that risky behavior is often ignored when its masked with spiritual belief. Amazing video sneeg! i always love the commentary you add :)
Damn that whole case was just horrifying. Glad to hear she was found guilty at the very least, and i hope she never sees another ray of sunlight as a free woman. And if there's a hell, well i hope hers is very very personal
Whole-heartedly agree! Both her, and the fellow scumbag she calls a husband deserve every bad thing coming to them.
this is so heart breaking those poor kids. i remember hearing about the story in the news. but i forgot about it hearing it again seeing the pictures and videos of the kids this is sickening and i want to cry
You know, after FOUR husbands, I think you should be banned from marriage.
The word Lolli I think way back when was another name for a grandma because my mom mentioned it to me as an idea of being called that when she would eventually be a grandmother and I had to unfortunately explain what the term Loli is used now for today. Was a very weird interaction in my life lol.
My great aunt was called Lolly as a nickname. Lolita and Loli are also nicknames from before that goddamn book was written.

this trial and case is chilling, i used to live near the school that Tylee went to.
glad i wasn't here live for this one because this hit WAY too close to home as an ex-mormon autistic person 😬 it kind of validated and fed into my long held fears. i had to pause a lot which wouldn't have worked live anyway LMAO
Update: she was found guilty and sentencing will take place July 31, 2023. Monday
Ex-Mormon and I wanted to explain a bit about the whole, "Lori knew JJ would have a short life" or "Chad knew Tammi was supposed to pass away":
Mormons believe in the "Gift of Prophecy" and blessings.
The call with her surviving son... she's trying to guilt trip him into stop yelling at her, bringing up pointless events...
this case makes me so sad
But what she was doing is conserved blasphemy to LDS church. Also yes we see here as a monster same as you.
@@0ddOdd wait so it’s wrong to think a woman who murder her child and husband is a bad person. What are getting at?
@@0ddOdd though I disagree on the self centrism and that the church is mostly toxic I do see your point in how people in church is closed minded and distrust difference, though I also find that in many other groups have a equal amount. see where you are coming from and understand that you were saying that she could have negative taken the church message wrong and used it as evidence to justify her crime and I apologize to misunderstand what you were saying.
i would love to see sneeg in his Nancy grace era
thank God you uploaded just in time to save my mental health 😍
the line between cult and delusion is very ambiguous.
I never followed this case, but I remember hearing about it when it was happening, as Rexburg is close to my hometown and I'm there all the time, so this is nuts. We've even driven past the house the bodies were found before. It makes it feel more visceral to have something so awful happen so close to home.
14:32 Yes absolutely, Sneeg I encourage it'll be so interesting. If it's not your vibe and doesn't pull what you want, it's okay to drop it :)
When they mentioned the jesus christ curch of latter-day saints i had the exact same reaction as Sneeg, then he said it a couple seconds later.
@@bluwolf098 well saying we’re the worse one to refer to one a woman who clearly didn’t care about are belief and was a monster is very insulting.
@@treysonbates6110 We're not saying the people part of LDS are worse, it's the fact that LDS guided her beliefs and also has a history of racism, homophobia, abuse allegations, and sexism that are signaling a red flag.
@@bluwolf098 like every other religion on this planet. The Latter Day Saints are no different then any other religion, so why when catholic or Jewish people do crappy thing it’s those people fault but when it happens to Latter Day Saints in the whole of the church.

An autistic person hear to help with respectful wording!!
• do not use "high functioning" or "low functioning": this leads to implications that people are "less than" or "subhuman"
• do not use "aspergers": though formally used as a diagnosis, it has been found to be no different than autism. Aspergers comes from a nazi who performed inhumane testing on people.
• "more autistic" or "less autistic" aren't appropriate either, because it's a spectrum!! Preferably use "lower masking" or "higher masking", respectively.
• always use person first language (ie. "Autistic person" rather than "person with autism")
• add more in the comments if you want!!
Another way I like to refer to myself instead of masking is high versus low support needs. I personally have low support needs (high masking), and I feel like it reinforces the fact that everyone deserves support.
Ahh yes Idaho my lovely state, known for MPM. (Mountains, Potatoes, and Murders.) Feels like that's all that's here some days.
I'd love a SneegSnag podcast. I think you should do it!
Omfg I remember seeing this on the news here and recognizing these kids
We have Raccoons that keep stealing our garbage during the night...so I decided to give them expired food, of like a day or two...and then our food isn't wasted, either.
I love watching these videos while playing sims
All things considered, this is one of the only cases where I can solidly say that they were justified in delaying the case due to incompetency. Watching the Netflix documentary, she is entirely unstable and genuinely seems to have no remorse, concern, or understanding of what she did. No matter what, she doesn't deserve to ever be put into the public again.
"Hmm, this raccoon has such a human child looking skull... police won't notice it though because it's a raccoon"

Also I hate anyone who uses mental health as a way to get out of court or custody, it just gets you put in worse places than prison while still being detained.
This was great loved the video.. thank you keep this u
This is insane, cause I’m in Boise. I recognize the places prime film at. THIS IS INSANE.
Exactly - it's like Lori and Alex buried the bodies on Chad's property just to incriminate him
Omfg they made a movie about this i saw it a while ago
I’m sure everyone knows at this point, but Lori was sentenced to LWOP; however, the story is far from over, since she’s still facing extradition to AZ on murder conspiracy charges there, as well as Chad’s trial set to (hopefully) take place in April 2024. Either way, at least a _portion_ of justice has finally been served. May she decay in her cell forever 🙏
pls post more crime time... i miss it sm... the good old days... smegma...
Is it weird that the family mainly talks about JJ and not Tylee? Idk. . . .
Some of the family is only related to JJ and not her. I believe her body was also found second to JJ’s. I don’t believe it’s to be cruel :(

I also hope that people affected by this demonic entity, because it is not a human being, can find the peace they deserve.
early to the vid lets gooooo (even though I saw it on twitch lol)
This case is disgusting... but it's still ongoing and she might get off easy. Psycho... 😵💫
One thing that the behaviour panel often talks about is that most psychopaths are dumb.
Yesirrrrrr
59:50 just wanna say, the age of consent in Japan is not 13. There is a law that prefectures (regions sorta like states) cannot set their ages of consent lower than 13. Every prefecture has set it much higher than that. I'm begging, do your research before passing on claims you hear on the internet, ESPECIALLY when it purports the law of a country to be that disgusting
Original Title: Sneeg REACTS to the Lori Vallow ‘Doomsday Cult’ Trial

Religious people freak me out so bad lol like genuinely scare me😂
Okay, saying the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is one of the worst ones is awful.
I don't know why people are so weird and hateful about it
actually early for once lol
