I dont know about any one else but when Boyd took the keys from the waitress creature in episode 4, the way he yelled "Fuck you! Fuck you!" had me cracking up.
The more I see Victor's dad the more he looks like the guy in the yellow.....idk why but I just keep feeling that way ....specially when u just showed the still of them setting in the diner talking n it showed him next to Donna .....the angle they show him setting there his face kinda looks like he could be the man in yellow .....n why does Victor say it's not possible for his father to be there??? Could be cuz he never been there before or because he's dead or died already or something....idk I just got a weird feeling about his father....
I'm curious to see how the real world in this show is reacting to an ambulance going missing after rushing people to the hospital from a car crash, one of which was already in the hospital under mysterious circumstances after being reported missing, which was confirmed by the article on the internet. Doubt that ever gets referenced 😢 but it would be awesome if we got a new character that was on the outside investigating all the disappearances.
Henry mentioned a detective that had passed away. Tabitha's mother mentioned a detective. Could the detective have been investigating disappearances associated with Fromville? maybe the one that went to Tabitha's mother is an offspring of the one that passed and has special knowledge? probably not just a thought...
In my mind jumping in and out of the fromland universe would kind of weaken the general dystopian vibe of it. Especially if it’s someone that’s not involved with the characters of the town

I have heard some theories in another channel (Teflon) and people are thinking that someone is going to take the bottle tree trying to escape fromville and end up in the pool maybe falling down from the sky or getting stuck through (half way through the ground, I think)...

In the beginning of episode 4 Ethan was looking at pictures at the kitchen table right before the phone rings. The picture he was looking at as the phone rings was a picture of a boy and a girl sitting in a fort surrounded by candles. This is before Sarah and Victor do their camp out in the basement. Maybe the pictures aren’t memories but more so previews.
Maybe the bottle tree works like a wishing well: you put a note with a specific year in a bottle, enter in the tree and then you travel to that specific year! You have to place a note in the bottle before you enter the tree, and this way, once you enter the tree, you have a better chance of being transported to that place. It may be similar to a "wishing well" - put a note in a bottle (ie: make a wish) and enter the tree and hope for the best!

Both of these were under the direction of the BIW. Tabitha took the one that Miranda used to take to the lighthouse, but the BIW was waiting for her in the lighthouse. If Dale goes through this tree withoiut the direction of the bIW he could end up superimposed in the deep end of the pool thus making the pool a portal also. The Root Cellar, the church basement, the tunnels and the pool all could be portals for the trees. I believe past generations tried to plot these in the Peach Truck Map
I just realized they left Randall alive on purpose to fuck with Boyd , they know this is gonna be impossible for randall to look past and they want conflict between 2 of the strongest men in the town😮
It seems to me that the root cellar and church basement are portals for the Farway Trees since people have been teleported into these places. If the monsters are barred from using the Farway Trees, perhaps they are banned from the portals as well. Victor likely hid in the root cellar for years when he was alone with the BIW. The BIW directed these Jumps. thus he directed Boyd into the well in another time or dimension.
I theorize that the picture Ethan is holding shows Boyd and Sara at the bottle tree in the tent, with light shining from outside, represented by the candles. If you look closely, you can see a bottle in his hand. Is this a hint about Episode 5, or is it something different? Let me know your thoughts ?
Ellis and/or Fatima's death as far as the pool scene given her changing into one of the monsters I figured they'd figure out what she did and Ellis and here would be at the pool hence the monsters couple at the pool foreshadow. meaning Some of the other locations described as monster common hangout points could foreshadow other coming events in the show.
I think Randall Fought back and killed 2 or 1 of those monsters, since Randall has the same worms/sacada on his body like what Martin Passed on to Boyd that killed Smiley in season 2

Tabitha should be there for the Henry/Victor reunion. Tabitha is slowly becoming my least favorite person on the show. Upon her return her first steps should have been first reunite with her family then meeting up with Victor. She should have 1) returned his lunch box, 2) explained what happened when we she went into the tree, 3) Tell him she went to his home and met his father and finally 4) introduced him to his father.

Good question. I don't think Victor had ever mentioned having a father. I only remember the mom and sister mentioned. He didn't remember the sister until he saw her drawings.
Could possibly be that the monster's have left someone half dead in the pool so Boyd needs to end it like with Kelly. Or possibly a dog ended up in the pool and couldn't get out, very interesting scene for sure. I do like the idea someone else said above about Elgin smashing the wall of the pool to find the kimono lady's bones. Can't think what else it could be but can't wait to find out.

Could be possible, during season 1 I thought the town was maybe built ontop of a Native American burial ground & was cursed perhaps. Or tied to the Lost Colony of Roanoke. There's certainly alot of Native American mythological sprinkled throughout the show

I mainly agree. The Peach Truck appears to be a museum of past FarwayTree Jumpers and the map they constructed about their locations. There is a gallery of past jumpers inside along a side.
I just can't shake the thought that Jade and Tabitha are brother and sister. I know its all association bias and all that crap. I think the whole Eloise is Tabitha has been predominant in everyone's mindset that, to use a pun from an episode title, we can't see the forest for the trees. But saying that it doesn't exactly mean anything like in episode 9 revelation (hypothetically here) they were to reveal them to be related..wow cliffhanger cue credits. Nah man I feel like all these relationships are in our heads more than they are in the show. I mean we've went through ad nauseam the list of fromunists who could be Eloise but never actually entertained that she was dead. I dont think she is but I think the tethering to the town isn't as much as just family. Like I believe foolishly probably that Mari was the one who picked up the bracelet when Julie was born. We were given no indication where she was working at that time she's a pediatric nurse and who knows maybe gave it to kristi who lost it in the anarchy of her arrival in fromville. That could be a logical explanation of how the bracelet is in 2 or 3 places. If that was the case all it would take for that revelation would be a passive comment from kristi or mari saying "hey that's my bracelet " to Jim who's wearing it and it'd be like huh... but for anyone still reading this apologies for all wrong assumptions made beforehand 🫡

I think the girl thats haunting Elgin is actually good and trying to help him. She apparently thinks he can help her. She reminds me a lot of a goulish Fatima.
The Japanese lady is probably a former version of Fatima who went through the same ordeal there are Japanese yokai that wonder near bodies of water looking for lost children
Pool scene: I think Boyd & gang are looking at (maybe) Dale who didn't follow directions & took it upon himself to go through the faraway tree... It didn't work out for him, he most likely met a horrible death... 🤷
I think it's a creature in the pool that boycott somehow x my reasoning for this because boy wants to catch a creature and then Randall went to something about the two creatures that go by the pool every night and the reason why I don't think it's a town member dead in the pool is because if you look at the stills everyone looks more concerned and curious rather than sad as if someone was dead and boy looks more like he can be calming people down to de-escalate the situation because they want to attack it or kill it or something rather than him talking somebody that suicidal about to kill themselves or something. But that's just my theory. Has anyone else noticed that anytime someone new and there's from ville that a person in the town dies like there can only be a certain amount of people in the town at one time, so if you noticed now when the bus arrived that's the night the creatures got into colony House and killed a bunch of people, the most amount of deaths in any episode. That's how I knew that Randall didn't die when Nikki died. Does the cop was the only new person in town and Tabitha isn't technically a new person because no new person came when she left the town which further bolsters my theory about how only a certain number of people can be in Fromville at one time.
What if the woman Elgin keeps seeing is related to Tilly, maybe Tilly is possessed? Dream or not Tilly could see her in episode 1. She was around Elgin when he saw it in episode 4. The first episode Tilly came in she was obsessed with the rain and being wet. I think they are tied in some way

Christopher maybe tried to show his love to Miranda and got rejected and Jasper told Christopher to kill her and the rest of the townsfolk by giving up the hiding spots but Victor escaped and the cycle wasn't completed and the entity is still trapped.
I want to see new monsters and hope one will be revealed and kill someone in one of the cabins because of the voodoo curse the totems protected them from.
What if this is purgatory for all the dead souls, its been created and managed an evil entity and need sacrifices. The dead children have been sacrificed by the adults that have been broken by thinking they can return to the real world, but instead are driven to mass suicide and then become monsters/insects within the town. The dead children try to break the cycles but continue to fail, but they bring in a hero/mother/thinker, on each cycle. Boyd, tabitha and Jay are this cycles hope. Last time it was old man chained, Marion and Christopher and they failed. Could the kimono lady be Fatima unborn manifestation trying to get help as children are able to be conduits to help. The man chained gave Boyd some power that defeated 1 monster, maybe he needs to collect more worms/power to defeat the big bad that awaits them.
Why wouldn't they at least move that Car into a little bit in a more vivid position. i mean it is their home-village, if they want or not... Maybe they thought it gives newcommers a clearer impression and warningsign theres something really wrong here..?😄

Tabitha is slowly becoming my least favorite person on the show. Upon her return her first steps should have been first reunite with her family then meeting up with Victor. She should have 1) returned his lunch box, 2) explained what happened when we she went into the tree, 3) Tell him she went to his home and met his father and finally 4) introduced him to his father.
she handled that whole situation so DUMB. i wish she would have done that instead.

Good question. I don't think Victor had ever mentioned having a father. I only remember the mom and sister mentioned. He didn't remember the sister until he saw her drawings.
Could possibly be that the monster's have left someone half dead in the pool so Boyd needs to end it like with Kelly. Or possibly a dog ended up in the pool and couldn't get out, very interesting scene for sure. I do like the idea someone else said above about Elgin smashing the wall of the pool to find the kimono lady's bones. Can't think what else it could be but can't wait to find out.
Do you think its possible that the writers intentionally include hidden clues and messages to keep viewers engaged, even if they don’t have any real significance in solving the mystery of Fromville ? I’m starting to get the sense that this is a way to generate ongoing interest by encouraging audiences to search for answers that may never be resolved.

Could be possible, during season 1 I thought the town was maybe built ontop of a Native American burial ground & was cursed perhaps. Or tied to the Lost Colony of Roanoke. There's certainly alot of Native American mythological sprinkled throughout the show

I mainly agree. The Peach Truck appears to be a museum of past FarwayTree Jumpers and the map they constructed about their locations. There is a gallery of past jumpers inside along a side.
The bell is close to him true, but why wouldn’t he just ring the bell like everyone else does? Kind of weird to hit it with a fire poker like that.

I just can't shake the thought that Jade and Tabitha are brother and sister. I know its all association bias and all that crap. I think the whole Eloise is Tabitha has been predominant in everyone's mindset that, to use a pun from an episode title, we can't see the forest for the trees. But saying that it doesn't exactly mean anything like in episode 9 revelation (hypothetically here) they were to reveal them to be related..wow cliffhanger cue credits. Nah man I feel like all these relationships are in our heads more than they are in the show. I mean we've went through ad nauseam the list of fromunists who could be Eloise but never actually entertained that she was dead. I dont think she is but I think the tethering to the town isn't as much as just family. Like I believe foolishly probably that Mari was the one who picked up the bracelet when Julie was born. We were given no indication where she was working at that time she's a pediatric nurse and who knows maybe gave it to kristi who lost it in the anarchy of her arrival in fromville. That could be a logical explanation of how the bracelet is in 2 or 3 places. If that was the case all it would take for that revelation would be a passive comment from kristi or mari saying "hey that's my bracelet " to Jim who's wearing it and it'd be like huh... but for anyone still reading this apologies for all wrong assumptions made beforehand 🫡

Yea I'm thinking it's Faraway tree related. And it didn't go well by the look on Boyds face. Victor did say in season 1 that ppl need to be careful using them or you could end up stuck inside a mountain or worse.

Anyone think that maybe Victor's father was abusive to the family and maybe they were running away from him. There's got to be a reason he didn't want to see his father. Three things need to happen for them to get concrete answers and get closer to solving this

3: Tabitha somehow needs to go back to the real world and go to the original Nd first bottle tree to find clues

I think it's a creature in the pool that boycott somehow x my reasoning for this because boy wants to catch a creature and then Randall went to something about the two creatures that go by the pool every night and the reason why I don't think it's a town member dead in the pool is because if you look at the stills everyone looks more concerned and curious rather than sad as if someone was dead and boy looks more like he can be calming people down to de-escalate the situation because they want to attack it or kill it or something rather than him talking somebody that suicidal about to kill themselves or something. But that's just my theory. Has anyone else noticed that anytime someone new and there's from ville that a person in the town dies like there can only be a certain amount of people in the town at one time, so if you noticed now when the bus arrived that's the night the creatures got into colony House and killed a bunch of people, the most amount of deaths in any episode. That's how I knew that Randall didn't die when Nikki died. Does the cop was the only new person in town and Tabitha isn't technically a new person because no new person came when she left the town which further bolsters my theory about how only a certain number of people can be in Fromville at one time.

@Jeremy ice & fire 33 I forgot to tell you i think Christopher is following the movie magic with Anthony Hopkins who was a ventriliquist that doll forced him to kill to keep secrets. Christopher maybe tried to show his love to Miranda and got rejected and Jasper told Christopher to kill her and the rest of the townsfolk by giving up the hiding spots but Victor escaped and the cycle wasn't completed and the entity is still trapped.

I want to see new monsters and hope one will be revealed and kill someone in one of the cabins because of the voodoo curse the totems protected them from.
What if this is purgatory for all the dead souls, its been created and managed an evil entity and need sacrifices. The dead children have been sacrificed by the adults that have been broken by thinking they can return to the real world, but instead are driven to mass suicide and then become monsters/insects within the town. The dead children try to break the cycles but continue to fail, but they bring in a hero/mother/thinker, on each cycle. Boyd, tabitha and Jay are this cycles hope. Last time it was old man chained, Marion and Christopher and they failed. Could the kimono lady be Fatima unborn manifestation trying to get help as children are able to be conduits to help. The man chained gave Boyd some power that defeated 1 monster, maybe he needs to collect more worms/power to defeat the big bad that awaits them.
I think it’s something to do with the kids being sacrificed but idk if it’s a purgatory. Hard to say
