    I've been wearing this watch for 6-7 months. Fits really well on my 7.5 inch wrist. Wears smaller than the numbers might indicate. Looks fantastic in person. Wear all day comfortable. Before it arrived I was looking at some straps thinking I might get a new one for it but now I never think about replacing the nato it came with. Possibly my smartest watch buying decision and I'm not a green watch guy.

      How has the case color held up to scratches? Does the steel underneath show through?

    • @danielsavadel2151
      @danielsavadel2151 3 місяці тому

      @@grahamdavidson639 Now, I think I've had it for a year and a half. The case and crystal (sapphire) look exactly like the day I got it. There is a tiny scratch on the bezel - more of a dot. But the bezel - like all multi colored bezels is metal, not ceramic. Overall, amazing value.

    It is water resistant 200m so for me it is a diver. Much more than that new style SKX from Seiko! And you get saphire!!

    I considered this version, but i opted for the AC0K02E with the green dial and green bezel. Absolutely love it.

      Hardlex has it's advantages. Almost as scratch resistant as sapphire - but shatterproof.

    I have the exact same watch and I’m very happy with it. It does run a bit fast which is preferable to running slow as it’s easier to reset the correct time but I find that placing it dial down overnight slows it down a bit. As the Nato strap is made of nylon, its unlikely to get damaged if it gets wet, the only downside is that the strap will stay wet for a while after getting out of the water.

    I went for the pepsi version. For a 43.4mm watch with a 51mm lug to lug it definitely wears smaller and looks even better in the flesh and the lume on this model is outstanding. Personally I prefer this to the Kamasu as it has more of a tool watch look and feel to it.

    Crown at 4 o'clock equals Triton. No power meter but an uprated engine plus heavy duty case add up to a great diver 💪

      P.V.D. Bronze type/look Coating, so don't think it will patina. Color really dosen't look bronze in video to me. Have a combat sub bronze, vast difference between the look.

    Orient is not owned by Seiko, they are owned by the company that owns Seiko. Kind of like Ulysse nardin and Girard perregaux

    • @JimIBobIJones
      @JimIBobIJones 2 роки тому +1

      Actually that's not true anymore. Orient has been fully integrated into Seiko-Epson. This is still a separate entity from the Seiko Watch Corporation/Seiko Holdings but carries out the manufacture of quite a large segment of the Seiko watch lines - including core product segments like Grand Seiko and Seiko Astron.
      Therefore, Orient is in both form and function a Seiko sub-brand at this point.

    • @JimIBobIJones
      @JimIBobIJones Рік тому

      @Slater Novicka) its Seiko Epson, b) legal technicalities about corporate structure aside, Orient are now made in a factory set up to make Seiko watches and is still primarily used to make Seiko watches.
      C) labelling is about brand segmentation. LVMH owns Tag Heuer, but nowhere does it say LVMH on my Tag, same with my Omega and Swatch. It goes beyond watches, you don't see Volkswagen branding on an Audi.
