I’ve been depressed before. Once I got out of that black hole. I had to tell myself fuck everyone who wasn’t there when I needed them mentally & emotionally. We all deal with differently. I hope you are able to get through it. Take all the time need you. Real fans of your content understand, UA-camrs have personal issues that they have tend to behind the camera. Now seeing this, it reminds me while cars are fun there are still many more important... always take the time if you need it, your videos are great but you and your family are more important, I'm sure everyone is proud of what you do for them!

Stay up brother. I deal with this everyday. My dads getting older. Slowing down and has had 4 heart attacks. I’ve come to realize that everyday left with him is a blessing. Gotta keep brother.

Sorry to hear about your father thank you for sharing that it's pretty big to share that sort of stuff on social media. This year my brother died at 45, dad paralyzed and mother diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I feel your pain!

My one year old passed away and my life was never the same. So I truly understand... I wish I could say time heals.. but it doesn’t.. you just get use to the pain and sorrow until you learn to live with it. stay strong, take your time and push forward man. Even on the most difficult days, just fight through it and push forward. It’ll get to the point where you hold the sorrow in your chest, and carry it with you but at the same time you’ll move on.

I love your videos, they're usually pretty informative, and my condolences to you and your family about your dad. We didn't feel that there's such news at the beginning of the video at all which means that you're not as negatively impacted which I'm feeling better about that.
Personally, I would love to watch anything from you not just car content because you're a pretty informative person, and I trust that you would put out great content👍

I am really sorry for your loss. After my dad got diagnosed with cancer this year, my world broke down. He got rid of it and will survive and I can't imagine how hard it is for you to deal with the death of a loved one. Keep that positivity alive!

Its a tough year indeed. My sincere condolences. I only waited to see what happens after a loved one passed away having no idea how it'll feel but don't look forward to that time. Little did I know, the pain would be unbearable. We're all human with emotion. Personal/Car is perfectly fine! :)

My condolences to you Gary. I lost my mother this year on July 31st to Cardiac Arrest. 2020 has been a very crazy year indeed for all of us. 2 days before my mother's funeral (August 2, her service was on the 4th), I got a new job offer. And so far, I like it. Because of your channel, it's one of the reasons that I still have my passion for JDM sports cars. I'm slowly saving for one. I'm thinking between a 370Z Nismo, GTR, or a Lexus RCF.
Keep up the great content! I enjoy the work that you do! It keeps young people like me motivated to acquire the nicer things in life!

On the note of projects not going right, I had almost chopped my finger off with an angle grinder while installing a roll bar. After all the medical bills I realized it would have been cheaper to just have a shop install it. :) Oh well, things like that happen from time to time, no big deal. As long as you still have your eyes intact, you are good!

Sorry for your loss. As far as Kswap shifter, You can try a no cut shifter from hybrid or K tuned. My personal experience with them was not good. But my son was banging gears with it. And it says on the box nor recommended for racing use. Being you have an auto you will have to cut out the manual shifter holes. They are designed with manual shifter in mind. The plus thing about it is that it will fit under the factory shift boot.

Hello Sir, I just wondered onto your channel today but I am definitely sorry to hear about your Dad. I just lost my Grandmother last month and she was like a mom to me so I understand your pain. I love cars and I use channels like yours to keep my mind occupied with automobiles that I'll never be able to afford lol. Anyway, keep up the good work brother.

Welcome back Gary! Great video as always. Also I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, my mother passed away Last year in December 2019. It doesn't feel that long ago now but I remember it clearly. It was my last day of work before the holidays I was excited to spend time with my family but little did I know my mother would not be able to join us that Christmas. She was only 56 and she was very healthy too, but the past few days she felt ill... that day she passed out while I was at work and taken to the hospital. I got back from work, my sister told me what happened. We rushed to the hospital to find her lying there gasping for air and in so much pain to even notice we were there. I watched my mother pass away right in front of me and I didn't even have a chance to say goodbye. The doctors said there was a massive blood clot in her lungs, but it was too late there was nothing they could do. life is unpredictable and family is always the most important thing it should always come first. Again I'm sorry for your loss Gary I know you must feel terrible right now but time does slowly heal and soon you will just remember all the fun times you had with your father and it will put a smile on your face whenever you think of him.
