I was going through a rough patch in my life. Crippling anxiety can take it out of you. But one week it was so bad I literally sang this version of this song everyday throughout each day. Finally... I got peace. It won't be the last but Jesus saw me through. He always does.

This song has been a great comfort to me. My wife passed away three years ago . After that I began to have doubts if she was in Heaven, so I prayed for a sign. Two years after her death, a year ago now I had a dream that I still to this day remember completely. In the dream I was in a place that had to be heaven from the things I saw, and I saw Lynda, my wife. She was very young and saw me and came running toward me. I then woke up and cried. Now I know she is with the Lord. Amen.
Yes, her spirit is with the Lord and she will be resurrected when Jesus returns! Soon we will be together with the Lord! Keep fighting the good fight my brother!

Reminds me of a phone call I had in my dream state that seemed so real, after my father passed away and I missed his voice an talking to him so much, I actually ended the conversation which seemed like hours and when I awoke just shortly after I hung up, I knew not much, of our conversation, but that it actually happened. And that I was very happy to have that phone call from heaven.

My dog was hit by a car 3 days ago while I was doing my exam (online, at home). I was so shocked and went outside to saw her but it was too late bcause she was dead already. I missed her so much.
Every night from then I listened to this song and tell God what I feel. And from this I think God wants me to learn that I shouldn't focus too much on things that I have on earth (bcause they're all just temporary). Instead, I should put my focus on Him. Bcause He's The One and Only that I have, The One and Only who never left and will never leave me.

Upon my mother's death bed we sang old hymns to her. When we sang turn your eyes her gaze changed and her person changed. She took her last breath when things of this world grows strangely dim. My soul crys out each time I hear turn your eyes.
My second mama sang this to us on her deathbed. She was so weak. Although I had heard her sing it many times before, that last time was the most beautiful to me. I'm always reminded of her sweet spirit when I hear this song. Thank God for those precious memories.

Beautiful rendition of a hymn written by a Helen Lemmel. While newly married, received the diagnosis of blindness, then sadly was abandoned by her husband. Despite deep heartache, she continued to focus her energy on praising God through music. Eventually authoring a total of 500 hymns!

When I was young, we sang this hymn so much in church, especially on Sunday and Wednesday nights. And as a child, I learned the words, but I did not realize the spiritual depth and profoundness of the words, especially when seeing so many older people being moved by the meaning of their song. Then after becoming an adult and seeing the world through the eyes of a person who has experienced a lifetime, the words to this song have given me so much comfort and peace in knowing that Jesus is to Whom I turn and look to in all times: through happiness sorrow, the birth of children, grandchildren, and loved ones, and death of family members and loved ones. Even though living through many years of wars, it oppression, sickness, death, starvation, corruption, horrific crimes against women and children as well as seeing the loss of human life due to the darkness in the world, I know to “Turn My Eyes Upon Jesus,” our great Savior,” and the world will grow strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace❣️”

This song is such a blessing to me. I am caregiver to my husband who has dementia. I listen to this song everyday. It gives me so much peace.I love the live version of Tremble. The video is awesome. The musicians and singers are awesome also. It is such a joy to see and hear a young person like you singing messages of hope and comfort. May the Lord continue to lead you on the path you are on.
