Looking good. Having worked in the electric power generation business for 44 years building and operating major power plants and experiencing some extremely heavy crane lifts, etc., some of which failed big time, be sure to think through any possible scenarios of what could go wrong as you start to make moves, to help eliminate any safety issues that could be possible (failure of equipment, a component breaks, etc.). Especially if you plan to use any cable or chain in tension (deadly potential) --- having everyone steer clear of anything that may snap unexpectedly, including the driver of a tractor, etc. Missing some safety issue could really make for a disastrous effort. Human protection at all cost, always! Good luck! Stay safe! 😐🙂

Lol! This brought back a memory! We had a fencing company come in and put up a chain link fence. Once they were done we realized that our 11-1/2' camper was facing INTO the fence. Oops! It took some ingenuity, but we got it turned around. Am looking forward to seeing your ingenuity!

A 22Lr with a good scope removes turtles easier and faster, they float in a day or two. They can do a lot of damage to a pond digging into the breastworks, speaking from experience, I had to drain and patch my pond from turtles digging. I don't believe in relocating them they can travel quite a way overland especially with the wetlands you have there. Best hootis yet. Can’t wait to see it in action.

Wonder if you have ever thought of possibly putting some type of mark on the turtles shell ( small like with safe paint) so you will know if they ever return to the pond? I’ve heard they love to return to places they have lived before? I bet the snakes will be moving very soon too. Susan

Just recently found your videos, and watched from the beginning.
Late advice (not related to this video), if you need to check a corner for square you can use 3-4-5.
3 feet from the corner one way, 4 feet from the corner the other way, and a true 90 corner will be 5 feet between marks.

Laughing as this morning I was looking at an issue and literally openly said I need a 'hootis for this'. Wasn't sure what I needed, but was sure a hootis was in order. THEN I watched this video and got my hootis fix :)
As for property work, my wife is a bad ass on the mower. She breaks it WAY less than I do. She has yet to have the chance to be the tractor Queen (maybe because I am hogging the keys?!?!), but I am confident she will be much smoother with it than I am.
BTW, feel free to reach out to chat about hydro and/or aquaponics ideas. We have good land and soil, BUT the good lands flood which destroys an entire season of food supply. I have a fix for that. We'll trade you 2 lifetimes of googling and video watching for some welding lessons :)

The porch you made with bags of concrete, does that get hard enough to put anchors in to hold a whole house generator and a 4 or 5 ft tall propane tank? Thanks in advance love your videos.

Absolutely! I would pour the slab at least 4” thick and add reinforcement wire though. But that’s only my opinion based on thinking about weight and vibration from the generator.

So jealous! I can’t wait to get back on the lawn mower! But… it’ll be a while as we just got 10” of snow and it’s still coming down! Great episode! Can’t wait to see the new hootis in action! 😂
If the turtles lay eggs, it’s really something awesome to watch them hatch! Hopefully you guys can catch it (if they’re not all rehomed!) But yes- rather have the blue gills than the snappers!
Ps- did you get a new camera? ☺️

Hey there friends! Hopefully y’all will begin to get some warm weather soon! It would be really cool to catch the turtles hatching on camera 😁 No we haven’t got any new equipment lately but hopefully we can add some new tools for filming soon!

Wow the size of that turtle 😮 Would make a good soup bowl? 😂 Good days fishing though the pond looks healthy and the three foot timer is growing up so quick it’s adorable seeing her grow up on the channel. I would had made the 5th wheel hook to the 3 point, the suspense on the big move. Until the next one. Have a good one 😊❤

Crocs wouldn't be much fun if you step in a fire ant bed... I moved from SC to PA 18 years ago, and now moving back to SC this summer. Fire ants is the only thing I am not looking forward to returning to. I still have scars on my feet from when I was a child.
