I don't think these should be called value packs any more. They are just regular hanger packs, but not the hanger boxes. If they actually brought value, then maybe keep the name.
I pulled a downtown (of Deshaun Watson) out of 2022 Donruss value pack but most of the time I Just avoid them unless they are all there is and I really want to open cards. I have pulled some autos but never of anybody good. One time in a basketball hanger pack I pulled a numbered card to 50. I mean that's two good cards out of about 200 packs.
I had a solid value pack of absolute and pulled a puka and Jayden reed. So wasn’t terrible but I don’t know it you could say it was worth the 7-8 bucks I spent.

I prefer the prizm ones because Ive actually pulled some nice cards in their plus it’s my favorite football card design

I have had the best luck with Prizm Value Packs
