I love when you goto these small shops. It gives them more business and it gets their name out there. Its so so important to support your LCS. If I had a LCS to goto I would support them a lot LOL Watching these makes me wish so bad that there was a shop near me. Another fantastic vlog on your road to the National. Maybe you should go from CA to NC and stop at as many small shops as possible. Good idea after the National. You can still do What Not sales from your hotel room. Good idea ? Thanks again !!

Hey mojo I’m a young collector trying to start out, right know I have a couple cards that are 30-40 dollars but that’s about it. What’s a good way to start getting in to higher end collectoring?
If you got the money go to shows. Money talks. Smaller shows have some of the best cards. Always comp everything tho. Don't let dealers set the price let the market set it. As for buying my method is buy greatness hold potential (for the right moment) and sell hype. High end you can't go wrong in the greats.

Like JC said, money talks. If the deal is there then jump on it, if it's not, then walk away, nothing wrong walking away if the deal isn't there

I wonder if your powers of "clear vision" gave you a feel for how this generous family...was also very.."set in there ways..like many others in that part of the country....The hobby needs to reach out to these type of folks...and show them the powers of diversity and also advise them...

Everybody is different. I think we learn and they learn
They sell basketball in their store!! I buy it all the time as well as football!! Allocations are alot of issues usually with newer shops. Another problem I'm sure they run into is, around Springfield to Dayton area, basketball isn't as popular. Idk what it is, but most of Ohio is a football/baseball area. Not that we have the greatest baseball teams but we have ok football teams and an amazing college football team! Also I frequent all the shops, I can tell you basketball right now stays on shelves and football is ALWAYS gone. While variety is nice, with the current market of basketball cards sitting around, it doesn't seem like a safe bet in my opinion, to pay extra and get it from big retailers to stock shelves,but they still have whatever is allocated to them to sell. They definitely stated they are mainly a baseball/football store. That doesn't mean no basketball what so ever!!
