I am interested in attending the annual conference that was mentioned near the end of the video. Do you know if it would be possible for me to attend the conference and what the conference is called?
HELLO TREY! I am from india and i got to know about your video while searching about BIM and i loved it , i have just started my journey by learning revit software and wanted to become a BIM engineer , could you please help me to choose right path for BIM engineer , which software should i learn or what are the requirements a company wants etc. Hope you will reply..... love from india.
HI VINAY! That's awesome, I'm excited for you man. If you watched my "How to be a BIM Engineer" video, I did lay out the best way to get into this industry. Revit will be a good start for you, but you also need to get your hands on Navisworks and AutoCAD. But mainly Revit. Companies look for people who know how to perform a clash detection and create models for them.
Hello sir im from india and civil background i have 2 years work experience as BIM modeller . now i want to do MS but i have some questions in my mind 1.which country is better to do BIM course and in which country we can get job after MS because for me getting job after MS is important to clear study loans 2.for settlement BIM is better option or should i take another good course regarding early settlement and salary scope 3.some people told me to do MS only in IT field to settle or else we have to return to india .is this correct? 4.Regarding salary which is better option (BIM or IT side) please reply sir..
I definitely think IT makes more $. If you can code and help design/engineer softwares you will make a lot more than doing BIM modeling. Honestly, Im not sure which country has better BIM programs I can only speak for the US. If you get a job in BIM after graduation, you'll most likely be able to stay since BIM is a specialized field. Same with Software engineering. They are both great programs to pursue.
Great video!! Thank you for this!!
You're welcome! I'm glad it helped you.
