Lao not too bad this time around. Some plus frames, safe armor, great projectile. Biggest issue IMO is lack of a Kameo that fits him and turns him broken like Baraka/Rax or Raiden/Jax.

Goro works well with him. You can do the overhead safe and mix the opponent using the B3 with Goro's grab. Not necessarily broken, but it does well.
