i just made this and i couldn't wait for the bread to cool so I sliced it and this is the most pumpkin forward, moist bread I have ever eaten !! my mum is an avid baker and also loves it (she says it is so moist it is like a bread version of pumpkin pie). I will make it again for my grandparents when I visit them in a couple of weeks :) the only thing I did different was add more of each spice except for the ginger and more vanilla extract

Hi, thank you for giving it a try! I think it could be any ingredients or other factors but pumpkin puree could affect the texture if it looked a lot more dense and thick than mine. Or it could be flours - some all-purpose flour contains slightly more protains than others, which make a cake slightly heavier. It's just my guess, so I might not be it! Also, ovens can affect the result; some ovens like a toaster oven might not work the best to bake a large cake like this; baking it as smaller cakes should work better with them. And try not to open the oven door until the end. I hope it helps a bit!
Hello from Poland, Europe. I just baked this cake, and it came out very delicious especially when it is still warm. But I have some comments: the amount of flour should be larger. With the amount in this recipe, it is easy to get it too moist inside, a sad cake. It is even visible in the movie, that the bottom is slack-baked cake. Also the amount of sugar, in this recipe is so high. I deducted the sugar by 100 grams and it is still very sweet especially because of the very sweet streuse. Otherwise, it is so tasty :)
I haven't tested it yet but It is possible! I wouldn't use the same amount, and reduce some (maybe a half... Sorry I can't give you a specific amount!). Just know that the texture changes a bit.

Made this today without the strudel it was very basic for me I know strudel would have added more meaning to it but still sorry didn’t like it but great effort.
