Have to say I think the DPM does a much better job than MTP in woodland for something as big as a basha. Every time I've taken my MTP basha out it's been like a huge beige square, sticks out like a sore thumb. Just ordered a DPM one. Think I'll be setting it up much the same way as you've got yours set up in this vid. Cheers!
I couldn't agree more, fine for Afghanistan defo not cool in our countryside. I do really like flecktarn, but DPM is bang on. Thanks for viewing and also commenting 🙏
Thanks for showing! In my opinion it´s a good choice to reduce the amount of bungees to set it up. Because if you´re surprised by strong wind the BASHA can move around too much. Therefore I prefer a mix between bungees and cord. When the BASHA is set up very low to the ground use at one or two stake out points bungees, so you can "slide" yourself in and out the shelter and the BASHA lifts and lowers by the bungee. Regards Torsten
@@outsidertank aye just seen it positioned like yours however I usually have the waterproof seal vertical and seen the seal on the inside but I’m sure I was taught like you said it’s on the outside
Just refreshed my mind and skills Respect brother ✊🏽 they are super efficient and effective even digging in like the good old excercise days in catterick and galochead 😆

Stop doing Bash videos lol, I've already got two tarps and am making a twin tarp system as well, I can't be buying two bashas as well haha! One Deep one Meep of course. That's bonny forest though marra, fine cabin material right above your head, I'm not sure if I've mentioned to you before but a good heel dig to compact the top layer often helps in pine territory, Toes toward tarp, slam heel at 45° in where you want the stake then whack stake in, stakehead should end up below ground level then so good and strong in a packed anchor 🤘

Can't go wrong with the jungle knots, so quick and simple.
Yes agree bish bash bosh job done .
I must be going crazy, did not see any flecktarn.😛 Bet your little dog was wearing the flecktarn, because I couldn't see her. 👍🏴
As it was British kit thought I'd best not. Thanks for commenting man..
Good old DPM and Flecktarn are the best cam for UK and Northern Europe in general. MTP is designed for the middle East.
@@simonh6371 couldn't agree more. Not a fan of Mtp at all..
Tanks that well camouflaged you can’t even see him in the video 😂👍

Your very welcome, yes like yourself I use both cors and Bungees, depending a lot in weather conditions. Take care friend 🏴
Does that wax material definitely go on the outside as I’ve been told different things
Yes Marc..
Well that's what I was taught..
So was I, do you think it matters it the lining goes horizontal or vertical when doing a lean to
@@Marctunstall I don't think it really matters tbh dude. Have you tried jungle knots with it !!

Love my DPM basha. If I'm in woodland I tend to make a hybrid of the plough point and lean to. Good tutorial mate liked and subscribed
