Despite in-game Sora being "weakened" due to the events of the Mark of Mastery exam given to Riku and him, he seems much more of a threat to in-game enemies than the previous entries in the series. In fact, during normal mode of the first world, I was shocked by how many Heartless you mow down as Sora considering in Kingdom Hearts II you could be beaten silly by certain generic Heartless enemies. And let's see...Oh yeah... THREE OF THE TITANS WERE OPTIONAL BOSSES IN THE VERY FIRST GAME. (I don't remember if you fight Typhoon or the fire one though). Certainly shows you how much of a journey Sora has made.
@@Photimus Actually the Titans you fight in the first game are two(Lythos and Hydros), the other two were absent. Plus they were busy keeping Zeus trapped, and fighting you at the same time.
As I see it, Sora is weaker at the beginning of KH 2 than at the end of KH, but stronger at the end of KH 2 than at the end of KH. The same goes for his strength at KH 3 vs KH 2. KH 3 vs KH is trickier, but I think it's fair to assume he is stronger at the beginning of KH 3 than at the end of KH.
When this played during the Kraken fight, it made it feel so epic and like I was on the edge of my seat and actually in the Maelstrom. Epic piece of music.
I'm not mad that we don't fight Hades (yet again). Hydros and Pyros for the first round and Stratos for the second round more than make up for it, combined with the battle background and this music.
@@superblanco444 Ironically, the Cyclopes fought on Zeus' side against the Titans, and in fact they were the ones that gave him his famous lightning bolts as a gift.

This is definitely one of Takeharu's tracks. I really enjoy how much more he's been left make track for Kingdom Hearts. His orchestral/symphonic styles are pretty good. But I wish he'd do more rock tracks like from Crisis Core. I suppose they wouldn't fit in as much here.
The soundtrack in Kingdom Hearts 3, no, the entirety of the whole series, is perfect. Perfect selected, perfectly orchestrated, just perfect. One of the many, many reasons to play and love these games.
idk tbh i really enjoyed the wind titan fight too tbh. I did get on low hp during it somehow but i survived. it was really new gliding down while listening to this was pretty dope.
Proud Mode as a first try was a bad idea, but strangely didn't want to stop. I checked my endgame report btw. Riskcharge was my most used reaction command, to hint how well I dodged....
not gonna lie they really fucking upped their game making since kh3d. This game has really gone up like 10 notches, with the story and tear jerking and music. I haven't completed the game yet but i've seen some of the cutscenes from videos and it still hit me.

@@Sonickeyblade00 Pretty sure the other bosses have a different theme, but I do think they sound similar. I know for a fact Monstropolis didn't use this at least.
Yen Sid: Sora you've totally lost all your powers and strength on your last mission, you're a weakling who don't know crap about wielding a keyblade. Go to Greece and find Hercules to help you with that! Sora on first level, unlocks shock locks and roller coaster summons on his own, takes down a rock titan while Naruto-running up the side of a literal mountain, and takes on three more titans at once and saves literal gods, mostly by himself! Yen Sid: Yeah you still a weakling that hasn't mastered the keyblade though. Later in game, Ven: Sora, what Yen Sid told you is complete bull sh--! You've mastered the keyblade and never lost your powers!
The chanting is very similar to the chanting in the POTC battle theme. So it's meant as a boss version reprisal when it's later used for the Kraken! Or maybe Ishimoto's compositions in this game is showing a lack of variety. Also seen with the 3 similar final boss themes of all places. :/
