For those of you claiming this is fake based entirely on the capacitor you may want to pay closer attention all he did was remove the voltage limiting he did not remove the diodes so it’s still generating DC voltage NOT AC pay attention before posting incorrect comments. While granted due to lenz's law (magnetic drag) this is still clearly fake as that 775 motor does not even have a fraction of the torque required to spin any generator under a load.

Great analysis. As a note . This is something you have to be careful of when jump starting a car. The alternator can hit a few hundred volt transient if you just pull leads off a dead battery immediately car starts.

well, under a load? what load? 2W light bulb. and gear ratio on this belt transmission was like 20:1 minimum. not saying this is perpetuum mobile coz it's not. but using capacitor as an exciter for rotor is quite common. Since rotor has been magnetized during the previous work there is small amount of residual magnetism in it. it's enough to give small charge to capacitor and then... capacitor discharges giving it back at the wiring which produces even more charge. problem is load. alternators luv to have 2000rpm for any usable current. means this will be high voltage and it will fry wiring. but for this ppl if they don't have electronic inverters this is ingenious way to change voltage

Ну, с оборотами, (постоянством импульса крутящего момента на валу), допустим, как механик я смогу решить проблему. Теоретически, да и в принципе, могу наверное решить так же и устранение проблемы перегрева обмоток статора, поставив те же радиаторы охлаждения. Но как можно получить крутящий момент на валу генератора достаточный, до самовозбуждения обмоток и выдачи тока и напряжения, с помощью такого малосильного моторчика. Это чистой воды нарушение закона сохранения энергии. Или я ошибаюсь?

I attached a standard alternator to a bicycle drive and "rear rim" with serpentine belt. Fits rim perfectly As back up for my solar panels and batteries. Works incredibly well with no modifications. KISS.
It’s a great idea, For the output to be provided for a longer time it needs more research on how the capacitor, windings are reacting, how much EMF is induced and will the windings be able to withstand that much EMF without damage to it. It’s a great idea, amazing work.

Схема его довольно проста. И повышающий трансформатор на 220 вольт. Правда такое устройство можно использовать только для лампочек.
Все давно придумано. Ничего делать не надо. Покупаешь компьютерный бесперебойник с у битым аккумулятором за копейки. Выкидывает родной АКБ и подсоединяешь автомобильный АКБ. На выходе стабильные 220. Болгарку 125 и дрель тянет.

Is this an alternator? If so, where is the power source to energise the windings so that it can produce a voltage? Am I missing something here? This unit looks too modern to be a dynamo or generator as was used on cars 40 years ago.
The battery and motor are beside the point, the exercise demonstrates how a car alternator can be rewired to output household power. Really only good for lighting as voltage fluctuation can burn appliance motors out if you were driving the alternator by a windmill. Probably easier and more versatile to just charge 12v dc to batteries and buy an inverter to run off them, then it's safe to run a fridge or tools.

An automotive alternator does not have permanent magnets. Instead, the magnetic field is generated with 24V. Without field voltage the alternator CANNOT do anything. If the field voltage is present, the alternator cannot be driven by hand. In this video, the 12V battery is connected only to the small motor! With all due respect, this DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE.

Did you not see the bridge rectifier installed to auto excite the field upon rotatation, it also feeds the battery more amps than the motor is pulling in watts, there for battery never discharges and unit never quites burning the bulb. Wait till I show you a 9000 watt generator with 5 120v @ 15 amp recepticals / 1 240v @ 30 amp resceptical & 1 380v @ 90 amp 3ph receptical powered by 420cc 13 how electric start generator. With the engine coupled up to gen with a freewheel sprag gear used to uncouple the engine from gen when I plug in a 120v 13 amp 1560 watt 2.5 hp motor to take over driving the gen. When stop the gas motor, the gen powers the motor @ 3500 rpm with 13 amps 120 v full load. Leaving me 4-120 v 15 amp or 124v 30 amp or - 380v 90 recepticals to use at will, no loud noise, no pollution, 24/7 operation.
And he didn't do in the videos where he connected the smaller motor to the other motor and once you get it started one will run the other cuz one can produce current if you run it backwards but there's other videos that support this... and you can make a water mill or a windmill many other ways to get this to run with alternative fuels that you can create yourself even from burning wood....

Автомобильный генератор вот так просто не даст ни вольта напряжения, сколько его крути, так как в нем нет постоянных магнитов. Что-бы он начал превращать механическую энергию в электричество, нужно подать ток возбуждения на ротор. Подаётся он через интегральную схему по щеткам в центральную, вращающуюся часть. А отбор электричества происходит со статора, это неподвижная часть, находящая вокруг ротора. Интегральная схема следит за напряжением на выходе со статора и регулирует, ток возбуждения на роторе, для поддержания нужного выходного напряжения, так как нагрузка и обороты постоянно меняются. От сюда вывод: генератор не мог выдать электричество без подключенного к нему аккумулятора.
Может, но его надо крутить более 2000 оборотов. Делали стенд для проверки автобусных реле генераторов на 24В так вот поставили двигатель для раскрутки генератора на 1500 оборотов, и генераторы не возбуждались - недостаточные обороты . Пришлось заменить движок на 2800 оборотов тогда только все заработало, а у этого деятеля от руки уже напряжение выдает как будто магниты внутри.
@@IIArd у тракторного тоже самое пока на катушку не даёшь напряжения ничего не получишь. Но если перепаять обмотки получишь 220 и это уже реально. Идея у него хорошая зря он фейкомет.

Most alternators are 12v-90 Amps or 24v-45Amps same wattage So, in total wattage of such electrical generator (alternator) will not exceed 1080 watt, with 220v and 1080 watt the amp must be 4.9 amps 😊 😎 RPM matters

For a second I thought it was a diode pack, but I looked up the part number. It's an npn transistor, but it has a built in base to emitter resistor and a reverse clamp diode. So not your normal run of the mill npn.

As this is a 28v alternator it came of a truck not a car. And I am very suspicious as an alternator isn't self exciting it won't start generating without a battery.

I tend to be on board with that. Once you put a heavier - demanding load on your generator, it'll drag it down big time. That small motor is not going to cut it when it comes to heavier loads sorry to bust your bubble. To prove my point get an old fashioned magneto from an old crank phone and test that theory. It cranks easily until you put a load on it, then it requires more torgue to obtain the demand on that load.

Would that be good to use its 12v D/C power and run a 8,000 watts sine Wave inverter and power up your AC, refrigerator/freezer etc at once and would it increase the amount of energy it's sucking from the DC?
For 1 volt in 50Hz u must have 3,3 (turn) wire So if u want have 220 volt, is 3,3 × 220 = 726 turns wire for 50Hz... I Am from asia So, how alternator can work without suplay 12 volt...? U know the alternator don't have magnet...
All he did was to remove the voltage limiter/regulator that is why it can go to a higher voltge but the internal components are still intact as you can see in 2:32 that the rectifier is still connected making it a DC voltage. true in candescent bulbs will work in both ac and dc, but not motors requiring an alternating current.
Didn't realize they didn't feel like that he could have back wired that to charge the battery and keep it charged if he done it with solar power then everyone would get the picture.... he could have done it without that once you get that alternator running the way he said it up it would run the small motor on its own battery just an added incentive to save the power...

Muy buen razonamiento !!! Yo me pregunto lo mismo: Si el alternador produce AC, ¿ Por qué hay que rectificarla (perdiendo energía) ? Para luego convertirla de nuevo en AC usando un aparato que también consume energía. Y si se usa una batería en el medio también se pierde energía porque ninguna batería entrega toda la energía que recibe, siempre se pierde un %.
Y digo yo: no se pueden sacar dos derivaciones mas del alternador para poder cargar la batería al tiempo?? Esto seria el principio de los coches hibridos!!!

scam... the alternator is not 48 volts.. being alternator charge 12 volt battery's (at 12.8 volts or you fry the battery lol) in fact running it through higher voltage just means you'll get less amps... and voltage x amperage = watts the actual measurement of electricity... anyway, when you increase the output of a generator, you have to increase the ammount of windings in the coils.. basically throw out that alternator and go get a gen capable of 9 amps at 48 volts.. because you cant get more with the same little 12volt ... lol guys got no idea..

Работает же. Мы энергетика на заводе уволили 380в отключили и купили вагон аккумуляторов от упс. Теперь вопрос только за ремнями передач.

Is this an alternator? If so, where is the power source to energise the windings so that it can produce a voltage? Am I missing something here? This unit looks too modern to be a dynamo or generator as was used on cars 40 years ago.

Wouldn't it be easier and more efficient to buy a 12v bulb? They have to be cheaper then an alternator.
The battery and motor are beside the point, the exercise demonstrates how a car alternator can be rewired to output household power. Really only good for lighting as voltage fluctuation can burn appliance motors out if you were driving the alternator by a windmill. Probably easier and more versatile to just charge 12v dc to batteries and buy an inverter to run off them, then it's safe to run a fridge or tools.

An automotive alternator does not have permanent magnets. Instead, the magnetic field is generated with 24V. Without field voltage the alternator CANNOT do anything. If the field voltage is present, the alternator cannot be driven by hand.
In this video, the 12V battery is connected only to the small motor! With all due respect, this DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE.

Did you not see the bridge rectifier installed to auto excite the field upon rotatation, it also feeds the battery more amps than the motor is pulling in watts, there for battery never discharges and unit never quites burning the bulb.

Leaving me 4-120 v 15 amp or 124v 30 amp or - 380v 90 recepticals to use at will, no loud noise, no pollution, 24/7 operation.
And he didn't do in the videos where he connected the smaller motor to the other motor and once you get it started one will run the other cuz one can produce current if you run it backwards but there's other videos that support this... and you can make a water mill or a windmill many other ways to get this to run with alternative fuels that you can create yourself even from burning wood....

Что-бы он начал превращать механическую энергию в электричество, нужно подать ток возбуждения на ротор. Подаётся он через интегральную схему по щеткам в центральную, вращающуюся часть. А отбор электричества происходит со статора, это неподвижная часть, находящая вокруг ротора. Интегральная схема следит за напряжением на выходе со статора и регулирует, ток возбуждения на роторе, для поддержания нужного выходного напряжения, так как нагрузка и обороты постоянно меняются. От сюда вывод: генератор не мог выдать электричество без подключенного к нему аккумулятора.
Может, но его надо крутить более 2000 оборотов. Делали стенд для проверки автобусных реле генераторов на 24В так вот поставили двигатель для раскрутки генератора на 1500 оборотов, и генераторы не возбуждались - недостаточные обороты . Пришлось заменить движок на 2800 оборотов тогда только все заработало, а у этого деятеля от руки уже напряжение выдает как будто магниты внутри.

Есть тракторные безщеточные генераторы. Там не нужно первичное возбуждение)

What about a resistor for the base of your transistor? Wouldn't you burn the transistor by running dc through it?

For a second I thought it was a diode pack, but I looked up the part number. It's an npn transistor, but it has a built in base to emitter resistor and a reverse clamp diode. So not your normal run of the mill npn.

As this is a 28v alternator it came of a truck not a car. And I am very suspicious as an alternator isn't self exciting it won't start generating without a battery.

I tend to be on board with that. Once you put a heavier - demanding load on your generator, it'll drag it down big time. That small motor is not going to cut it when it comes to heavier loads sorry to bust your bubble. To prove my point get an old fashioned magneto from an old crank phone and test that theory. It cranks easily until you put a load on it, then it requires more torgue to obtain the demand on that load.

For 1 volt in 50Hz u must have 3,3 (turn) wire
So if u want have 220 volt, is 3,3 × 220 = 726 turns wire for 50Hz...

All he did was to remove the voltage limiter/regulator that is why it can go to a higher voltge but the internal components are still intact as you can see in 2:32 that the rectifier is still connected making it a DC voltage. true in candescent bulbs will work in both ac and dc, but not motors requiring an alternating current.

Didn't realize they didn't feel like that he could have back wired that to charge the battery and keep it charged if he done it with solar power then everyone would get the picture.... he could have done it without that once you get that alternator running the way he said it up it would run the small motor on its own battery just an added incentive to save the power...

Muy buen razonamiento !!! Yo me pregunto lo mismo: Si el alternador produce AC, ¿ Por qué hay que rectificarla (perdiendo energía) ? Para luego convertirla de nuevo en AC usando un aparato que también consume energía. Y si se usa una batería en el medio también se pierde energía porque ninguna batería entrega toda la energía que recibe, siempre se pierde un %.

scam... the alternator is not 48 volts.. being alternator charge 12 volt battery's (at 12.8 volts or you fry the battery lol) in fact running it through higher voltage just means you'll get less amps... and voltage x amperage = watts the actual measurement of electricity...
anyway, when you increase the output of a generator, you have to increase the ammount of windings in the coils.. basically throw out that alternator and go get a gen capable of 9 amps at 48 volts.. because you cant get more with the same little 12volt ... lol
