26 out of the 27 New Testament books (exception being Philemon) warns against false teachings, false teachers and false prophets. Paul said in Acts 20:29-31 that he warned about false teachers day and night with tears for three years in Ephesus. The church needs to be equipped for how to answer false doctrines and not to fall into their deception. Thank you Mike for what you do. God bless your ministry.
Ethiopian bible (oldest bible) has 84 books Greek Orthodox bible has 81 books KJV (original 1611) had 80 books that included the apocrypha. The apocrypha was officially removed in 1885 to 66 books Armenian Orthodox has 75 books Coptic Orthodox has 74 books Roman Catholic bible has 73 books So which bible is the real one...if any?
Not true! Please read that better. He said after he goes away or departs false teachers would spring up from among THEM. The departing he mentioned is thought to be Paul speaking about his death. So, he was stating after he died false teachers would begin to arise from among them and speaking twisted things, drawing disciples after themselves. It’s interesting many people believe false teachers were prophesied to appear and yet many “Christians” ignorantly choose to accept doctrines and terms NEVER mentioned in the Holy Scriptures and was only introduced after the real Christian disciples died. The trinity comes to mind. False teaching never mentioned by anyone in the scriptures which means God never inspired any person to record the term or definition/description.
My brother loves Kenneth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis. When I tried to point out their false teachings my brother told me, "touch not the Lord's anointed." And I said- "that's out of context." He didn't like that either,

What I love about you Pastor Mike is that you are loving and respectful when you call out false teaching. Too many are hateful and slanderous when calling others out. Even Christians do this!! So I am very thankful for you being led by the Spirit in how to call out false teachers.
Amen. It is a shame before God how prideful and arrogant I've found some of these teachers to be. It's like they love their proofs more than they love God.
They day will come when the wicked will be tormented forever for their sins, which they did to twist and pervert the gospel of Christ, like the Adventists, Mormons, JW's and the Armstrongites. We know that they who are Heretics, will burn in hell. God help them. ! They just abuse or ignore the text of Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, *strife, SEDITIONS, HERESIES* ..... Of the which I tell you before, as *I have also told you in time past, * that *they which do such things shall NOT inherit the kingdom of God.* I wonder how many times Paul has to say it before they repent.
It was thanks to ministries like yours, Mike, that I escaped the sinless perfection, New Age style prayer meditations, "doing the gospel" doctrines, and the regular practice of making up false miracles that came with following Todd White (and several others on occasion). It's way more legalistic, too, than people give it credit for and I lead many people astray and caused much harm to others with this stuff. It was so evident that I was a false convert for all my life up until I was 21 years old, about 3 years ago, when I was finally introduced to the gospel by a wonderful brother in Christ. Took a long time to disentangle the false from the true, but I am so blessed to be able to find joy in following Christ for the past 3 years. Praise God!
@@jordancampbell8597 essentially you could spread the gospel by the deeds you do for the Kingdom rather than proclaiming the saving message itself. There's a really infamous clip, one I used to refer back to many times, where Todd White is talking about the guitar he bought, the healings he did, the volunteering he was doing, and, for him, that was him doing the gospel. So I took that and ran with it, basically proclaiming Jesus' immense love for people and praying for healing everywhere I went without ever actually going over the gospel message
@@WontonDisciple I think I understand. While Jesus did instruct Peter--and by extent, the rest of the disciples--to take care of His sheep, and several of the Epistles, most notably James, beseech the believers to care for the widows and orphans, the most important thing is the Great Commission. We must tell others about Jesus, before anything else.
I and my whole family stand by you Mike in calling out these false teachers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! False teaching can reek havoc in believers lives....I know!!
I'm not a Pentecostal, but my view of denominations is simple - there are at least seven valid forms of Christianity, as Revelation shows with seven different churches with different issues and pros and cons. And it reminds me that we all are tainted sinners, we aren't perfect. I don't think any human being can have perfect theology until we are reunited with Christ. In fact, I disagree with every pastor and theologian I've ever come across on some small detail or another. So let's in the meantime, be gracious where we can. There is a difference between willful false teaching and pushing false doctrine, and simply being a little wrong and not having harmful intent against your fellow members of the body of Christ. So we should all be gracious, lest it be us that brings Christianity into disrepute and get told "depart from me" for being more Pharisee than gospel sharer! :) Our differences are proof we all are chasing our individual relationship with our Maker and not just following other men.
I know one thing, denominations aren’t biblical. No where in God’s word does he calls his people anything but “Holy, like He is. Every denomination is founded by man. Thus causing the differences and the opportunity for division, discrimination, and strife between saints. I know, I’ve been part of several denominations but finally got revelation. Case in point, for Pentecostals it was John Sinclair in 1919.
Recently had a brother warn me not to contradict him because he was the Lord's annointed and that would apparently be a grievous sin. Yeesh. I was so saddened.
Thank you MIke. That fits so well with a similar issue I had at church with an interim pastor and someone he brought in to teach on a Sunday. When I emailed him and the board, who had spiritual oversight over the congregation at the time, the interim pastor came back at me with Matthew 18. Total misapplication. Your ministry is a significant blessing to me and I want to publicly thank you for that. God bless.
People confuse judging normal Christians, with False Teachers and Prophets. Judging harshly another brother is not good. But we should always point out Teachers and Prophets who oppose God's Word.
Count the number of times the scripture and Christ *commands us* to love one another by *commandment* ! *NOT ONCE DOES CHRIST OR ANY OF THE APOSTLES COMMAND SABBATH KEEPING.* And, while the scripture is explicit for the commandment of Christ to love the Church, the WORK of Adventism is to *persecute and hatemonger the very Church and brethren Christ is commanding you to love* ! Here's your *"Test commandment"* , not Sabbath keeping like the Pharisees but to love and obey Christ's commandments to the Church! John 13:34 *A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.* John 13:35 By THIS (SIGN) *shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.* John 15:12 *This is MY commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.* John 15:17 These things *I command you, that ye love one another.* Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Ephesians 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 1 Thessalonians 3:12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: 1 Thessalonians 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for *ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.* Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto *unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:* 1 Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 1 John 3:23 *And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave US commandment.* 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let US love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved US, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in US, and his love is perfected in us. 2 John 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though* I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.* > I DOUBT ONE OF YOU WILL OBEY *"HIS COMMANDMENTS"* TO LOVE THE CHURCH AND THE BRETHREN. Because, the Sabbath keepers have taught you to hate the Brethren and the Church. Christ commandment is that you love the church and the brother in at the church! And he that does not keep that commandment is a liar and the truth is not in him. Christ commanded all Christians to obey the church and to hear with the church teachers not pick up the Bible and make your own beliefs as the Adventist and thousands of other churches have done. And therefore the Adventist despise persecute and hate the church in defiance of Christ commandment!
Loving one another also means telling/warning folks about sin… what sin is… what the Word says about sin, how to avoid sin, how to overcome sin, who the author of sin is … etc. Tell folks … without accepting Jesus, repentance, you Will spend eternity in hell… folks don’t need to know social justice preaching/teaching they need to KNOW GODLY justice preaching and teaching. That is loving folks enough to explain the whole gospel to get people from going down the path to eternal hell and direct them to a glorious eternal heaven. Love people enough to tell them the truth … the whole truth wether they like it or not, Preachers calling is to present Jesus to the lost souls of this world. And encourage the Saints.
@@mn2mx563 A loving person would never pervert the gospel as the Adventist's do, nor go out and lust for "drawing away followers" for their own selves and making them heretics to send them to hell, as the Adventist's do. . Welcome Back brother Mike Winger, you were one of the Sound Doctrine teachers who led me this Former Pro Football Player out of the false Teachers and Pastors back in the day, even them mentioned in this video!!
Hi Vance. Saw you give your testimony at the “Rally in the valley “ a couple years ago. God has done a powerful work in you. Keep up the good work. God bless you and yours.
It is so hard coming out of Jehovah's Witnesses and trying to wake them up and I feel like God is calling us all to call out false Doctrine God is using us for his workmanship and its purposes, keep shining the truth and keep using the Bible thank you for all you do for the kingdom of God!
I actually had JW's tell me they could see the spirit of God in me. Yet when I showed them in their own version of the bible why what they believed was false they told me I was deceived.
I’m catholic. For the first time in my life I felt Jesus’ passion during mass and I was just silently crying the whole time. That same day for the first time I had The JWs at my knocking apartment, I open the door and they invited me to their passion of Christ event. I didn’t say anything. I used criticize them and while I still disagree I just don’t care anymore. I don’t pay attention to non salvation issues, all I pray for is for God’s mercy to be great enough for all of us, hell is worse than anything and I don’t wish that to my worse enemy.

About ten years ago, My husband and I attended a church and left after two years because we found the pastor to be extremely narcissistic, demeaning, controlling, and legalistic (among other things). That Pastor (from the church we left) loved quoting that verse about not touching the Lord’s anointed. He loved applying that verse to himself, saying that no one could/should touch him and harm him because he was “the Lord’s Anointed.” I am literally reminded of that pastor every time I hear or read that “Lord’s anointed” verse lol. Thank you for your ministry! It truly blesses me! May the Lord continually bless you and guide you as you continue your ministry!
Hahaha! If only they would follow that up with accountability and repentance for the false teachings they supported. It seems more like they removed it for optics.
@@MikeWinger I like your channel, esp the video about heaven and our bodies in heaven. I've spent a lot of time thinking about this as a young guy with a heart issue that's getting the better of me faster than I anticipated. I'm struggling with the jealousy of seeing other men in relationships with beautiful women on the one hand, and on the other looking fwd to heave wondering what my body will be like, if I will have a body as on earth, etc. How can I reconcile these split feelings of wanting to enjoy life while I can and being ready for heaven?
@@bobjones2460 : I can tell you what I do. Being here on Earth is the hard part, so I focus on that. Heaven will be very, very different from here - so much so that I cannot accurately imagine it. We will all be sons like Jesus. We will all be like Jesus, but without sacrificing our own personhood (I believe). The Lord once told my wife that our life here will be like a distant memory, vague in recollection. Everything will be new, including us. But our opportunity to impact eternity is here and now. Therefore I focus on living holy, set apart to God, and on receiving correction and praying for strength and breakthroughs in areas that I am prone to sin. Fasting and praying with determination can yield awesome breakthroughs against sin when the power of God comes upon you. Hebrews 12:5 should have EVERY believer seeking correction. Yet another verse warning about denying God's will. As for enjoying life here, that is not why we are here. We are here to glorify God and obey Him. I can understand the ordinary yearning to have a companion. In your case I would seek the Lord for physical healing, and for Him to provide a wife. He chose my wife for me, and she was a far better choice than I would have made on my own. But I would focus on glorifying God and obeying Him while doing so. Trust is the key here, so trust Him whether you get your breakthrough or not, and whether you get your companion or not. Seek His will, and put your petitions before Him. Trust that He will find a way to communicate to you, in a form that you will understand. See what He says, and go from there. Be open to correction, and press in until you hear directly from the Holy Spirit. This is all I can say, and I hope it helps.
I was attending a church for a while a few years ago and noticed how they started teaching that you don't receive the Holy Spirit UNTIL you were baptized. This troubled me alot because I knew it was not scriptural. After conducting extensive study in the Word, I arranged to meet the pastor at his home. It was very respectful and civil but he wouldn't reason. Needless to say I informed him that my family wouldn't be attending his church anymore, he was frustrated but I think he understood.
I think, the Bible makes it quite clear that it's the right thing to do to call out false teachers. Some people say that we don't need the division and fights amongst each other, but we cannot let false teachings spread and mislead people for the sake of not causing division, especially in the light of what Jesus said - that He causes division and people will dislike us for His sake. Further, because we don't want to cause fights or anything like this, it's important to call people out in a gracious way, which you always do, Mike. You are always gentle, understanding, and rational rather than reigned by emotions, but also firm in your understanding of the Bible. To me, this is exactly what we need to do and how we need to do it. God bless you and your loved ones, Mike.
Mike I'm really thankful for you and your heart to teach about having a biblical perspective on everything. Thank you for your dedication. God is good!
Mike, bro, you have a seriously great sense of humor. More importantly, you're teaching tends to be right on...because you teach contextually, including an understanding of the culture. Keep going, bro, and thank you for being an instrument in God's hand!
Very well done. A few months ago I went to lunch with my pastor and he told me he was in a church that would have people regularly stand up and say " the Lord told me this to tell you...." It happened one time and my Pastor ( who at the time was an English teacher in high school) thought " I don't think God would mis conjugate a verb." He started studying theology and now is reformed pastor.
Thank you for this great explanation. In the Hiper Charismatic circles I was apart of, if you don't agree with the preacher, or 'judge' something about a teaching - you are sowing disunity. 'Unity of the church' is always held up as a trump card so you're not allowed to think biblically and most defenitely never question or correct someone's bad teaching. Unfortunately, the result is that - this is my personal experience, not meant to be a generalisation - most people from that movement dont think twice about what they are taught or what they sing. Anything goes - any manifestation, words, visions, experience - is acceptable as long as you say/believe its in the Spirit. Nothing is judged with the Bible.
I think many people FAIL to understand that your heart is to keep them from falling into false teaching, and if taken to its ultimate conclusion, ending up in HELL for believing and accepting false doctrine. I have watched you enough over the past couple of years to know that your heart is to accurately instruct the body in what the Bible says and means. Thank you for your concern for fellow believers---and wanting to sound the alarm to help keep them away from doctrines of the devil. I appreciate your insights and KNOW that YOU ARE A RIGHTFUL TEACHER OF THE WORD!
After a few bad experiences in back-to-back churches, I approach listening to new pastors/preachers very carefully - almost suspiciously. Between preachers online and authors of books, trying to ensure you stick with biblically accurate teachings can be an overwhelming task. My own research of questionable authors revealed I have two yet unread books on my bookshelf by an author with very unbiblical views. Surprise! I am so grateful for your honest and humble evaluations of questionable pastors, which really help to add to my own investigations. If we aren't very diligent, it can be so easy to be led astray!
I’ve been following you for 3 years now, and I have to tell you that you’re becoming bolder with speaking the truth of God! There was a time when I thought you’re too nice to the point of confusing me. Nothing against you though. You’re just a nice person is all. Thank you for teaching me.
It’s genuinely by the grace of God that false teachings be exposed when being truly led by The Holy Spirit to righteously judge I thank God because I don’t want to be under any falsehood.
It's always cool to me how God works- in my personal Bible study I happen to have just read through the part about Paul confronting Peter about being misled. I think God wanted us to see that even a ' pillar of the faith' like Peter could be vulnerable. So we should all be open to having our attitude and doctrine challenged, or that we might be led to speak up about someone elses'. Thank you for another solid video Mike!
I first discovered Bill Johnson and his false ministry years ago and I warn ANYONE that showed any interest in his heretical doctrines or anything similar. Thank you for being bold and shedding light on this Mike! Lord bless you brother.
Thank you so much Mike for this video, and I am grateful for your video teachings which seriously address issues in the church. The ministry video clips you used in this video - I do not have anything against these 'ministers' but I do not subscribe to their doctrines/teachings etc. I grew up in the church, been in the church all my life and still in the church. I remember very clearly this warning of 'Touch not the Lord's anointing' which was meant to keep people in their places, so that they would not challenge the 'church/ministry' leaders and a message which indicated that if you do challenge the 'Lord's anointed' God will strike you with lightning!!!.....I heard this repeatedly in almost every church. This idea of 'touching the Lord's anointed' was mainly circulated within the mega-church community, rife with prosperity gospel preachers and teachings. The mega church cult thrived on this and used it to silence people so that no one would challenge the teaching or preaching of the minister/ministers. This meant that even if they taught something that was wrong, no was supposed to challenge their false teachings because the 'Lord's anointed knew best. When I finally realized what this was all about, I ran for the exit door, left and never returned to the mega church cult community. Thank you for sharing the context of that scripture which has been manipulated, ironically its not linked to any spiritual authority, like a prophet or even a priest - its taken out of context to instill fear in people, like some kind of 'gag order' in the church. God bless you Mike and may God continue to use you to bring spiritual and biblical truths to the body of Christ.
Hi Mike, and thank you for all you do for the Lord and for us. I have learned a lot from you! I'm very concerned lately about un-biblical bibles. The false teachers are now backing the false doctrines that they teach by quoting these false bibles, and not very many people seem to be talking about this. "The Passion Translation" and "The Message Bible" are two that I have heard about. Personally, I have always preferred King James, although I don't consider myself a King James only person. But with the rise of all this counterfeit Christianity, believers need to be warned about the counterfeit bibles to look out for, too. Thanks in advance!
Mike has a great deal of content on the Passion so-called Translation; I'd commend it to you if you haven't already watched it. The Message has its issues, but is on a whole different level.
The passion, I was reading that translation recently and I swear it read like someone was constantly interrupting the word of God to tell me what they think it meant. It reminds me of when I put my imagination to what could have been going on in the parts of the Bible that we don't know... But then I make a Bible about it and put my thoughts in it. I read some of the footnotes they added to everything and I was just wondering where in the heck they got these conclusions from?
@@lookingatdaisies9901 the biggest problem with these "translations" is single authorship. Unlike the old reliable translations, where groups of theologians from several denominations worked together, there was a checks and balances system to it that kept with the original meaning. When one person sits down and writes their very own "translation", they can slip whatever they want into it. The finished product is almost always a distortion of the true word of God.
As you should,Mike! Making these videos are fully in line with 1 Cor 5:11-13. This passage is a quote from Deut 13:5 (notice the flip on the numbers 5:13 quotes 13:5 respectively….so cool!). The point is the dealings with the “so-called brothers”, not merely those in the world, it is these “so-called brothers” we are called to judge rightfully. So grateful you do not back down from this Mike! Graciousness is key, yet, graciousness does not mean fudging a hard line. It actually means praying for those who are in error that they repent and return to the fold as true brethren in one spirit and truth. Hearts should always grieve when casting someone out of the body, not co,e with haughtiness, condemnations shame and severity. Unfortunately that was the previous method which is why we’ve seen the pendulum shift to the opposite extreme becoming greasy grace that sacrifices truth. Grateful for you Mike!
It’s so interesting that the speakers or authority figures themselves are anointed but they never say anyone else is. For example, using their logic we could say Winger is anointed and not to question him since he’s a teacher too. All of a sudden their personal rule doesn’t apply anymore.
I used to go to a supposedly Christian site, and one of the leaders there called out a ministry, saying they will not support them because they criticise other ministries. I pointed out that, in saying such a thing, they were criticising a ministry themselves. Different rules for different people.
When you see a chiropractor they compare your leg lengths. Whether they are equal or different lengths it all depends on the alignment of the spine. After they adjust the spine the legs become equal length. Nothing to do with growing. Just alignment
This same thing happened to me. Once the spine was aligned correctly the legs were once again "the same length" and overall I gained 1 inch in height. But the chiropractor is not calling it a miracle.
I've heard the touch not the Lord's anointed from a spiritually abusive leader on several occasions. This is used to keep them from being held accountable for their abuse and false teachings and or their unscriptural behavior.
I've always heard of the foot pulling/ healing thing, but there was a woman at my old church who had a special shoe for one foot because one leg was about 6 inches shorter than the other. I watched that leg grow when she went up for healing. It was like something out of a movie.
If there was that significant of a difference, then it growing out to be the same length so she could walk normally truly is a miracle. A member of our church was healed of stage 4 ovarian cancer, and she has test results as proof from local doctors, so I believe healing still occurs. As it got pointed out to me quite a few years ago, a lot of diseases being cured by faith healers on TV programs are exotic or uncommon, so I see their point of view.
@Amy Russell While I'm fully committed to believing we can be healed by the power of the Spirit, televising healing and demanding money from people for it or calling it a seed sown for healing are synonymous with blasphemy. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Acts 8:18Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. Acts 8:19But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Acts 8:20
Jesus called out false teachers publicly. That’s the context of what you’re doing and you are in the right. God bless you for speaking out boldly for the truth!
If you did not help us by takibng the time....who would??? Thank you a million times... thankyou Mike please continue...please keep speaking truth to the body.
Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s necessary & it helps ppl of God to be more Berean in our walk. Eager to learn & even more eager to get understanding or clarity. Thankful for men who do this with such humility.
A long time ago, I lead a small church and a former minister was sent to me for counseling and restoration due to sin. I let him stay in the rented church premises. When I caught him with his girlfriend in the church, they hid in the toilet in shame and pretended to not hear me calling them to come out from there. Eventually, they came out and I had a few members with me to counsel and was pretty upset that he broke our trust that he wouldn’t defile the place being an ex-minister. This went on for a while, when suddenly, he turned around an decided to give a prophetic statement over me. Due to our charismatic background, we’d normally yield to it like a reflex but I immediately turned to him while seated, pointed to him and said “Don’t you dare do it!” He kept sheepishly silent from then on knowing he couldn’t use any manipulation on us. He accepted the discipline and we told him to leave. Later my members were curious as to how I had the gall to shut him down. I said I can know when it’s genuine and coming from a good place, and this definitely wasn’t it.
Thank you for a perfect analysis of this matter. I have non-essential differences with even my friends (and we live with these harmoniously), but I have seen grievous false teachings, such as the Word of Faith heresy, the NAR, the Antinomianism of Joseph Prince, and the fantasies of QAnon, drastically harm and derail people I have known and loved. These teachings are not harmless, and we must publically "test all things" (since they have been publically taught) to avoid being snared by them and to possibly help others who will listen to our analysis of these errors without ourselves becoming "discernmentalists."
Rev. Winger: I worked, not because I desired to, worked with TBN at the Holy Land Experience in Orlando for about 8 years. I was the one who Jan Crouch would question individuals like Benny Hinn and Joseph Prince and their odd statements. I would give solid biblical statements concerning these odd statements, and Mrs. Crouch never used my information. She merely stayed with the odd statements because these were her so-called friends. By the way none of these individuals are God's anointed. Keep up the great work.
Thank You Mike, Love the way u esxplain the God's true word and yes they try silence it's the same with do not judge loved ur video on neutralising Jesus ..
I called out my pastor on some long overdue things in the church, ended up being wrongfully institutionalized which escalated into a felony charge, still going through it but by His help trying to live 1Sam 24 and let the L-rd deal with him. My job is to love and forgive
Touching God's anointed goes well beyond "don't murder or physically harm them". Someone talebearing against my wife ended up with her jaws wired shut for months for medical reasons, for one of several instances. There were others. You don't mess with His true ones.
Thanks, Pastor Mike. You are a diamond in the rough. I appreciate the balanced, kind, wise perspective that you give on biblical topics including this one.
I was brought up in a fundamentalist Baptist cult. Was sent by them to a fundamentalist bible college and was ordained a fundamentalist bible preacher and went back to that same fundamentalist church with that same pastor in "87" worked as a fundamentalist assistant to this man for 4 years until the day just twixt he and I he stated (I will NEVER forget) "I am the voice of God". My first thought was ok where's the purple Kool-Aid? Gratefully my life fell apart from that point. Shunned and divorced, suicide attempts and homelessness followed. I hated God and His people. I was prodigious in my efforts to raze any Christian, I persecuted with abandon whoever came to me with their bible. I lived with a witch for seven years until that broke up. A Good Christian woman (friend) with solid teaching exhibited her life before me. God still takes in the prodigal. By His grace and mercy I am back for the last 18 years in a doctrinally sound church. False teachers are no joke. Thank you for your work.
Don't stop. False teaching is rampant now. From the beginning of my Christian life, the Lord gave me the "love of the truth". I'm very grateful for that. I admit that I've got less willing to point these things out, I don't enjoy confrontation and I've got to the "what's the point" stage. I know this is wrong and "the fear of man is a snare". But in 40 years no one has wanted to hear. I don't have a church, the last one I went to is into the Enneagram and new age stuff, and no one seems to think there's anything wrong. I pray for true fellowship.

Hello Mike, I wanted to express my gratitude for your work and seek your guidance on a topic that I have been unable to find in your vidoe archives, although I know you have covered it before. If you have a video on this subject, please direct me to it. The topic I am referring to is the debate between a new earth and a renewed earth. I was recently watching a roundtable discussion with Jordan Peterson and Exodus, and during a conversation with my friend who is a Christian, we discussed our differing views on the destruction of the earth and crating it anew with new materials versus the new earth with the renewal of existing materials to make something new. To my surprise, I discovered that there are many theologians and scholars who hold differing views on this matter. In my opinion, this debate is crucial in defining who or what the cross is "saving" and has a significant impact on our theology of sanctification, as it determines whether we view the cosmos or just people as being infected by sin. Additionally, ecotheology plays a critical role in shaping how we understand the kingdom of God and our role in the "gardening project" from Genesis 1&2 to the completion of a garden like city new world in Revelation 21 &22. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could create a video discussing both sides of this debate, or if such a video already exists, please direct me to it. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Grace & Peace Brian
I hope the pastors change their views "till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." Keep up the good work
False teachings and teachers are a dime a dozen these days - the core of these teachings are always about the human component as the central theme, me and I - but not about Christ and what the Bible actually says
Beyond the contextual issue brought up regarding addressing a false teacher, when a false teacher puts their teaching on a distribution platform for public display, then it is not inappropriate for their reproach to occur on that same platform. Making reproach within the domain where the false teaching was offered IS going to the false teacher. If it is confined to the sanctuary of a single church, then approach them in that place. If it is put on UA-cam then approach them on UA-cam.
Calling out false teachers can be a slippery slope. At what point does it become pride and the flesh taking over. More UA-cam views is a good thing no? There are more apparent obvious times when someone is falsely preaching like not preaching Christ crucified but just because you disagree does not make the other false. We are to judge by the fruits of the person. Pointing out false preachers can educate specific cases but also takes away from truly educating people on the Word which arms them against false preaching better in all cases. It also takes us away from just gathering and praising together the one True Lord and Savior! Me personally, unless people within the Body of Christ God has blessed me to be part of are getting influenced by false teachings, i stay away from it and choose building up the Body through the Word, praise, fellowship, prayer and more. God Bless!
Touch not my anointed is something I heard a lot, taken from Psalm 105 and 1 Chron 16... It is always half quoted and never completed because when they phrase appears in both portions, it is followed by, do not harm my prophets. So God is really saying what you just pointed out, it is not harm or kill them in anyway.
When David said I shall not touch the Lord's anointed, he meant he will not kill Saul, David more than once verbally challenged Saul on the lies he told the people...
And many times the false teachers were explicitly named.

I agree, Mike does an exceptional job.

They day will come when the wicked will be tormented forever for their sins, which they did to twist and pervert the gospel of Christ, like the Adventists, Mormons, JW's and the Armstrongites.
We know that they who are Heretics, will burn in hell. God help them. !
They just abuse or ignore the text of Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV)

Praise God!
What exactly is a "doing the gospel" doctrine? I don't think I'm familiar with that phrase.

As a Pentecostal we disagree on a few issues, but I watch you all the time and glean many good things from your teachings. We are brothers in Christ.
Derek Prince is a sound teacher. The TV obviously money grabbing preachers have given the good pentecostal/ charismatic teachers a black eye.
@@formallyknownasjojoemcpart6684 I have several books by Dr. Prince. He was a great writer.
Our differences are proof we all are chasing our individual relationship with our Maker and not just following other men.

I always appreciate your gentle but rational nature so much Mike. Thank you for doing these videos!

It's always cool to me how God works- in my personal Bible study I happen to have just read through the part about Paul confronting Peter about being misled.
I can see the fruit of the spirit on your face, Love, Joy. God Bless you!
My favorite "heresy hunter", just kidding, thanks for all you do, you are a blessing brother Mike.
😁
He's a heretic himself. Evangelicalism is a heresy with no grounding in the history of the church.
Inside baseball 😂
You mean heresy teacher!
@@toreyhorton1789 you're wrong
It’s so interesting that the speakers or authority figures themselves are anointed but they never say anyone else is. For example, using their logic we could say Winger is anointed and not to question him since he’s a teacher too. All of a sudden their personal rule doesn’t apply anymore.
Very true. It sounds a lot like ego/pride.... which the Lord warns against. 😅
I used to go to a supposedly Christian site, and one of the leaders there called out a ministry, saying they will not support them because they criticise other ministries. I pointed out that, in saying such a thing, they were criticising a ministry themselves. Different rules for different people.
Thank you bunches for explaining the difference. I am learning a lot!
It's good to call out false teaching these days because SO many people fall into these false doctrines.
Spot on, Mike. Thank you, brother ✝️💙
Well done Ps Mike. Keep up your great work.
Appreciate your approach, we can see that you are not attacking but rather exposing false teachers and their teaching!
Acts 8:20
Hey Mike. How do you feel about Dr Michael Brown defending some of these guys?
Should we REALLY be surprised? Brown and Brian Simmons are two peas in a pod
Very good point about discernment ministries taking delight in finding fault in others and mocking others
Thank you Mike for calling out false teachers!!!
Jesus called out false teachers publicly.
That’s the context of what you’re doing and you are in the right.
God bless you for speaking out boldly for the truth!
Grateful for your diligence
If you did not help us by takibng the time....who would??? Thank you a million times... thankyou Mike please continue...please keep speaking truth to the body.
Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s necessary & it helps ppl of God to be more Berean in our walk. Eager to learn & even more eager to get understanding or clarity. Thankful for men who do this with such humility.
God bless you dude! Keep calling them out. I don't agree with everything you say but absolutely respect you brother. Your knowledge is phenomenal.🎉😮
Much love brother
Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks Mike, I appreciate you 😊
Thank you for a perfect analysis of this matter.
Wow. Thanx Pastor Mike ❤️❤️😀Lala
Thanks for what you do!
Thank You Mike, Love the way u esxplain the God's true word and yes they try silence it's the same with do not judge loved ur video on neutralising Jesus ..
I'm not Christian - but I love your channel!
That's great . He is awesome
May God bless and keep you in Jesus Name
I called out my pastor on some long overdue things in the church, ended up being wrongfully institutionalized which escalated into a felony charge, still going through it but by His help trying to live 1Sam 24 and let the L-rd deal with him. My job is to love and forgive
Good video, nice and short, straight to the point, very clear.
Touching God's anointed goes well beyond "don't murder or physically harm them". Someone talebearing against my wife ended up with her jaws wired shut for months for medical reasons, for one of several instances. There were others. You don't mess with His true ones.
Nonsense
Thanks Mike!
You are one of the few who do. So thank you.
I appreciate you, brother. You have the exact right temperament to represent our faith.
Thank you
Thanks, Pastor Mike. You are a diamond in the rough. I appreciate the balanced, kind, wise perspective that you give on biblical topics including this one.
Thank God that error is exposed.
I want you to know we are thankful for you and you’re ministry Pastor Mike! Keep it up!
Appreciate your ministry so much, ps Mike!
Thank you for truth from God's word.
"It's not a trick" he says as he does a common magician trick.
Someone I know is into all that sort of thing. Funnily enough one of the first things he said to me was, "You're just pretending to be a Christian to try manipulate me.", which, using the old strategy of letting people accuse you of what they're doing...
Hello Mike,
I wanted to express my gratitude for your work and seek your guidance on a topic that I have been unable to find in your vidoe archives, although I know you have covered it before.
Sincerely,
Grace & Peace
Brian
I hope the pastors change their views "till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."
Keep up the good work
False teachings and teachers are a dime a dozen these days - the core of these teachings are always about the human component as the central theme, me and I - but not about Christ and what the Bible actually says
God Bless!
Spot on! Point blank church, point blank.
