I think the biggest positive you could add to these videos is sources. A lot of your claims about south korea not wanting to unite with north korea is generational, and it would be strengthened by having any sources for any such claims

Good video and good progress on making your videos better! Proud of you Hawk! Hearing that Somalia got added truly dashed my hopes for the EAF! I really wish they would stick with the original 5 and get unified. Somalia, South Sudan and the DRC are just WAY to unstable to make anything last.

Banger of a video Hawk. Love this style of 'contemporary hypothetical' - Could just be me, but I'd love to see some more graphs, words and numbers to back up what you're saying.
An example you could have used in this video would have been a pie chart showing the relative populations/GDPs of the countries and how the merged state would have looked on that front.

The constant problem with concrete unification projects has always been deciding who will be in charge. It killed the three mid-century Unification projects in the Middle East and Africa.

That was even a major issue in the unification of the United States, and is what led to the division of the legislature into the House of Representatives (where larger states have more influence) and the Senate (where small states have equal influence).

@@erickpoorbaugh6728 I think the more specific parallel in the early years of the United States is the fact that Virginia and Maryland eventually donated land for an independent capital region---the District of Columbia.

Yea in the cause of North Korea it would only make sense after the country became democratic on it's own. Only at that point you can actually think of getting together.

Yeah. High risk, high reward. But you can't win if you don't put your chips in. Africa needs something like this to succeed. If not the EFA, then elsewhere.

If they can get rid of DR congo and Somalia, they should be good. I don't see South Sudan as a big problem despite its poor economy. Somalia has major identity crisis with its neighbours and Congo is just too big to include, it's literal central africa all on its own and a war zone like somalia.

Nice content and we'll presented. Just a suggestion: the music in the background is out of contest. It seems like it was made for an advertising of some tourism office. U don't need it. U just need a good intro and some effect for the transition. Well that's my opinion.

As a Turkish, I really want to unification of Cyprus or recognation of North Cyprus sovereign country. Turkish Cypriots born after the war cannot pass to the South side without a visa. Life is too expensive there. Moreover, since no one other than Turkey recognizes the country, the country is completely dependent on Turkey and it is clear that the islanders do not want this. In addition, the natural gas in the Eastern Mediterranean, the continental shelf crisis in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean, the refugee crisis and the hostile attitudes of the two countries towards each other, despite being in the same alliance, unfortunately make it difficult to solve the Cyprus problem.
I would also like to mention that the Cyprus operation had to be carried out because the EOKA organization founded by the ultra-nationalist Greeks on the island massacred countless Turks and Greeks who were against them. Although Turkey explained the seriousness of the situation to the Greek government many times through peaceful solutions, the Turkish government thought that the solution would be solved by two separate countries, due to the Greek government's constant silence on the issue. That's why the Cyprus movement was made and the security of the Turks and Greeks on the island was improved to some extent in those years. Since there is no longer such a threat, the Greek people should either produce a solution to solve the problems of the Turkish island people, who are constantly exposed to pain and distress through no fault of their own, or should not put political pressure on the UN for recognition.
