    Might wanna change center of mass - heavy pliers etc towards middle/bottom and progressively lighter towards outside, with flimsy stuff on the outside :)

    “ I hate the short wide pockets at the bottom” as you attempt to shove tall narrow hand tools in them. Lol.

    I imagine if you had a hammer or any power tools, and if you didn't put the heaviest hand tools in the front side of the back pocket, it wouldn't tip over every time you put even more pressure on the front of the bag. You have 6 pairs of snips, strippers, pliers, and then about 6 to 8 wrenches all in the front side and just some light screwdrivers in the back. lol

    The floppy lower pockets are good for your tubing cutters and Allen key wrenches. Also great for pipe dope

  • @davereed6612

    Lol the large pockets are for either larger meters or multiple tools, try putting if a set of Klein ratcheting crimpers and automatics strippers in the bottom pockets, they won’t fall like that if the pockets full.

    I've had mine for about 5 mouths love the bag but it definitely has some flaws the sides have broke down so zipping it back up can be a pain and it dose tipe over all the time but other then that I love it. I have 4 of the slim packout organizers that i lock onto the bottom depending on what im doing and the facked that it looks onto my big roiling packout kit is awesome.

    Thanks for the review. Was considering this. Got a free Klein Backpack I using. It's okay, used it long enough to see if I liked the backpack setup and I do, but the pockets and the tipping are two very frustrating things I dislike. I thought this might be the answer and it looks like it somewhat is, but I'm going to check veto's backpacks out. I know they make good quality gear as I've ordered pouches from them and was happy. I like pouches but they were causing too many hip and back problems.

      Veto costs nearly $300 so it better be good. This one is around $100 and it gets the job done. It helps to put the heaviest stuff near the center of gravity

    I had a CLC backpack and it was tippy also. Maybe that’s inherent to all tool backpacks. It was a really good pack all the same.

    • @samfutch8994
      @samfutch8994 2 роки тому +1

      That's what I was saying. I've had my CLC for 5 years, and am not nice to it. It's just now starting to wear out. Of course it's floppy, its a bag lol. It's like saying your toolbox is too hard and square lol

  • @thms4771

    I bought a Milwaukee packout cart and the small packout toolbox. Klein zipper bags separate the different tools. In the cart I put the power tools and a veto pro pac TB5 pouch. I will also get the low rise organizer for electrical connections and other stuff. The small toolbox will hold the hand tools inside the separated zipper bags and meter, the cart will hold the larger tools. I will not over burden the set up because I have to use the stairs. So far no problems. Plus, I can lock the tools up.

  • @SqwarkParrotSpittingFeathers

    And, there's no heavy tools in the base, which will help if there were. The trouble I've found with Veto and Velocity is that they are so heavy you lose two impacts in weight to them.

  • @davereed6612
    @davereed6612 2 роки тому

    Bro get the veto mc blackout and get a free tp-lc bag. That makes a 250 dollar bag cost about 150. And you have 2 better bags with a 5 year. You’ll be so much more happy with a veto bag.

  • @trishaleaver3581

  • @TommyJH54
    @TommyJH54 4 роки тому +2

    Is that an elastic band or something on the left near the bottom? If that were cut or removed would that let the front lie down preventing the bag from tipping? Looks like a nice bag. I’ve been looking at the CLC bags. Reasonably priced and well laid out.

    Complaining about a tool bag backpack being floppy is like complaining about a toolbox being rigid. You might just not like the feel of tool bags vs. boxes.

    • @camtheelectrician
      @camtheelectrician  2 роки тому +1

      Not the case. Klein and Veto both make much more rigid backpacks.

    Same as the pockets on the small PO tote, dead flappy, no good for the tools it’s advertised for imo! I love packout but come on, create a decent tool pocket ffs! Why not join up with Veto and get them to do a Collaboration and make a Veto/packout bag/range? Can only be good for both parties, surely? Tradies would be flocking to get one! $$$$$$$

  • @garethwatson7999
    @garethwatson7999 4 роки тому

    Backpacks are shit, always go for a tote imo. The veto bags are made amazingly well but if you have a van then any decent tote will beat a Veto bag imo, all depends how far away you are from the job in hand? 👍

    • @appliancealliance4444
      @appliancealliance4444 3 роки тому +1

      Yeah ik I was thinking about a new bag and looked at this on youtube. As nice looking as it is on the outside the functionality just wasn't there. It seems like almost all the tool backpacks are like that (looks nice on the outside but not alot of quality) I will at some point get this bag but it certainly won't be my main go to. I will say though all the tool backpacks do seem to have alot more space. However the only tool backpacks that seem to actually work all around would be the vetos.
