I’ve seen a ton of comments about it already but that Special Building is a Kristjani holy site so you can only get it you are Kristjani. You can later make a new religion which would keep those holy sites.
Hey a quick tip/hack i found out recently. When you create a new faith your new holy sites are the same as in the old faith from which you created, which can be exploited. Love this. Such a fun playthrough. Can I make 1 suggestion though.... Can you just slow things down a little. I get that you want to cover a lot and you're very familiar with the game, but personally I'd happily watch slightly longer videos where I get to see a little bit more of what is going on as it happens. I even tried lowering the speed to .75 but boy you sounded weird

You could hypothetically become Krstjani. You own two of their holy sites and a third is up in Balaton. I'm unsure if the AI can do the "Accuse the Krstjani of Heresy" decision against you or not - could be funny to see it happen because it basically means you lose Ecumenism and the other Christian faiths start considering you Hostile, lmao. But to be honest, you get gold and armed pilgrimages from the Catholics, so I'm not sure if that's worth giving up just for the region flavor.
An interesting fun challenge would be to start as a witch in 867 in a small county in germany/frisia or something then through intrique and murder form a witch coven ofcourse then conquer enough of germany to then form the "UN"holy roman empire. Not an official ending decision ofcourse but still sounds fun to do. One of the conditions to meet could be that the pope needs to be converted to a witch.
Imagine working your way up so hard to form an empire, but the second you die, your grandson takes the throne.and your empire collapses. Ancient Empires be like.
This may sound crazy, but I always try to combine cultures with the Basque culture. You only need one county, which you can get a claim on with your realm priest. Once you build up enough cultural acceptance you can combine and take the trait that gives you "high partition" VERY EARLY. This solves succession problems bigtime.
You should definitely try to get the konni Men-at-arms because they are broken. Croatian has the cultural tradition "konni raids" that grants them. Also when you form a new culture, you should drop the isolationist tradition Bosnian has because you're going for such a wide, diverse empire.
Did you take the idea from my comment 6 days ago: A fun playthrough is starting as a Croatian or Hungarian and hybridizing with the other so then you have both Koni and Horse Archers and can melt other armies so you don't have to chase them around the map. I prefer to go with Croatian so you can milk the Pope for gold and then go for the whole Slavia unification. Just make 2 stacks of Koni, 2 Horse Archers, and 2 of the best siege equipment while building all buildings that give a bonus to light cavalry. So easy to win against 3-4 times your numbers. Or is it a lucky coincidence? The Bosnia move threw me for a loop, but it does seem interesting. Nice to see a Slavia playthrough.
Another Evil Cult Faith with different evil Tenets around conquest would be cool. But dont make yourself Head of Faith with people spamming gold to you, that would make this too easy Try and follow more stories of other houses like you did the Vassal Peasant Revolt family, the Modena ruling family and the Feud family, its stories like those that make CK3 interesting Imagine if you took the family of peasants, kept them with you the whole campaign and rose them to become the right-hand man of your empire
Yeah something like that was my first thought! making another cult type thing! and yeah it breaks the game a little too much haha And yeah 100% will, its one of the main reasons i didn't want to rush the whole thing into 1 video, so it can be a little slower and can build mini stories along the way! definitely my favorite way to play! Thats my plan haha, i want this family to stick by my side and hopefully not overthrow me haha! be cool to eventually make them kings etc!
I think forming a pan-Slavic culture (definitely getting the Konni in there), and converting to Krstjani would be good. If you united all of those Holy Sites, you could even declare a Krstjani Pope, which would be awesome!
Culture wise I think hybridizing with the Avar culture could give you some good diversity tolerance and military advantage ~ i think they’re even better than the Moyger culture. In my playthrough Russo-Norse was formed , they might be another good one to hybridize with. There are so many options with faiths too! Maybe a folk syncretic christian faith? Would be really good for all the pagans to your north!
How the hell has this one thumbnail done a better job in showing me the slavic reigon than anything elss that shows it (I have CK3 on PS5, which doesn’t show reigons)
information: The inhabitants of Bosnia belong to the South Slavs and this is one of the three Slavic groups in Europe. We also have Eastern Slavs (Belarus, Ukraine) and Western Slavs (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Sorbian ethnic group)
@@faara663 Factually wrong, West Slavs originate from early Slavic tribes which settled in Central Europe after the East Germanic tribes had left this area during the migration period. They are noted as having mixed with Germanics, Hungarians, Celts, Old Prussians, and the Pannonian Avars. East Slavs have origins in early Slavic tribes who mixed and contacted with Finns, Balts and with the remnants of the people of the Goths. Their early Slavic component, Antes, mixed or absorbed Iranians, and later received influence from the Khazars and Vikings. The East Slavs trace their national origins to the tribal unions of Kievan Rus' and Rus' Khaganate, beginning in the 10th century. South Slavs from most of the region have origins in early Slavic tribes who mixed with the local Proto-Balkanic tribes (Illyrian, Dacian, Thracian, Paeonian, Hellenic tribes), and Celtic tribes (particularly the Scordisci), as well as with Romans (and the Romanized remnants of the former groups), and also with remnants of temporarily settled invading East Germanic, Asiatic or Caucasian tribes such as Gepids, Huns, Avars, Goths and Bulgars. The original inhabitants of present-day Slovenia and continental Croatia have origins in early Slavic tribes who mixed with Romans and romanized Celtic and Illyrian people as well as with Avars and Germanic peoples (Lombards and East Goths). Therefore they all have mixed blood, which means that your exclusion of Russia is racism motivated by your western propaganda-influenced political views.
Just finished a Mali playthrough where I united Africa, re established the Sunni Caliphate, and dismantled the papacy all between 1066-1453. So satisfying.
Just imprison all the sons older than your genius son, and force them to take the vows as you release them, and your genius son will be your heir. The tyranny will not matter by the time you play as your son.
Easy way to get rid of too many unwanted sons is to force them to act as knights then splitting your army off so that only the unwanted sons stand on their own. Then just send them off constantly to battles untill they die in battles.
Well, in terms of cultures, maybe it would be nice to mix the Bosnian culture with the Volakhs, and then with the Russians. If you decide to create your own religion, then perhaps after you have conquered most of the de jure possessions needed. Although it's also worth just leaving the property that gives you the ability to start holy wars and just create a pure religion of war.
Revive/strengthen the Krjstani religion. It's a Christian faith in the Balkans that has a few holy sites right there. I think it'd be a really cool aspect to add, one people with one culture and one religion typa stuff
I'm working on uniting the Slavs as well but I started as a Polish pagan tribal duchy so my development was terrible to start with. I managed to form the empire of West Slavia, reform the Slavic religion, and adopt feudalism by about 950 AD, so the final phase is to conquer the South Slavs. This video game me some ideas, thanks.
Become steppe and hybridize with mogyers, get both konni raids and horse lords. I don't know if it's possible to become the khan of all khans of the slavs.
If you do form Slavia, just convert to the Slavianska religion, reform it and probably branch it to a different faith with a set of tenants, and stuff of your liking. Since it would make sense Slavia's faith would be back to it's Slavic roots, and thus Slavic religion.
Love ur content of ck3 it's my favorite. I have ck3 on my Xbox but no keyboard and mouse support. It's so hard to play with a controller. Just navigating or movement is a night mare
I have a couple of ideas about what kind of faith that you could make and what kind of culture that would be fitting to you not the Slavs with. So first I would like to cover the religion in which I think you should convert to the krstjani which is still a christian faith, because your capital that you have been developing is one of the holy sites which can give you multiple bonuses through your campaign as well as many other holy sites spread out across things like Italy and Jerusalem and other places throughout the Slavic world. if you plan to keep this as your capital. And if you want to create a new faith the tenants I would choose are mendicant preachers which I think are unique to this fate and already come with it so you wouldn't have to spend any potty on that one and then I would change out monkeyism for communal identity so if you choose to create a different culture it will spread with your faith and then I would swap out pastoral isolation with cthonic redoubts because this gives you conversion speed in your all of your lands that have mountains and as being in highly mountainous area this could benefit you greatly and since you already have communal identity this will help you spread your culture throughout your lands as well or at least your lands around your capital as they are basically surrounded by mountains. And then I would leave the rest up to you except maybe keep the theocracy doctrine and then have the spiritual doctrine so you can basically become the pope of your religion and kind of role play like you are the Slavic pope or whatever I think that might be a pool idea especially because you are like allied with Italy so that could create a interesting power dynamic between the Slavic Empireand the Italian Empire as Rome is where the pope lives and will probably become a vassal of the state that has taken over italy in your game. Now on to culture me personally I would probably make like a hybrid culture with like maybe Greek because you can get like the eastern Roman Legacy and it gives you like special troops but that's about like all I want from that. But if you really wanted to like kind of stick to your Slavic roots especially like the southern ones then I'd probably go with the vlach or Bulgarian culture as these two cultures somewhat have a slovak heritage and have special minute arms like the Greeks except they're called Kony Riders and they're pretty strong i will say the Bulgarian culture is probably the one that I would prefer to hybridize with because they have like merciful buildings which is a very useful one just to help you like build up your capital and stuff all around your domain which can be very useful but the vlach culture has strong believers which can kind of play into like the Slavic Pope kind of idea that I had before which I thought could be an interesting role play experience. More about the Slavic pope idea i think that it was cool watching you start a family Feud between two kingdoms and then fighting it out until the end and I think this could be a interesting way even after you unite the slobs maybe you could invade somewhere like Italy as you have already put your own like family heritage there So I think it would be interesting if you became like the Slavic Pope and wanted to retake Rome for the new Slavic popes throne. And the whole retaking of Italy thing is just a suggestion me personally I would just cut the series off when you unite the slaves because I think that's interesting enough but I would like to see the Slavic pope as I think it is an interesting idea and what kind of change history how we know it. Last but not least I hope you take this on to consideration I would love to watch your next video and see some of my suggestions be used in the campaign.
Dude is there anyway I could just get some advice, I was playing Kristjani religion in the Slavic region, I’d get a bunch of land, Sicily, that whole Slavic area and even over to Ibera. Then the Catholics would holy war me and crush me and crush me.

Not an official ending decision ofcourse but still sounds fun to do. One of the conditions to meet could be that the pope needs to be converted to a witch.
Imagine working your way up so hard to form an empire, but the second you die, your grandson takes the throne.and your empire collapses.
Ancient Empires be like.
ive lived for 105 years as king of aquatine, england, wales, and brittany. Pretty good run
This may sound crazy, but I always try to combine cultures with the Basque culture. You only need one county, which you can get a claim on with your realm priest. Once you build up enough cultural acceptance you can combine and take the trait that gives you "high partition" VERY EARLY. This solves succession problems bigtime.
I believe if you want to make use of the special building slot, you have to convert to Krstjani faith. Apologies, if you are already aware of this.
You should definitely try to get the konni Men-at-arms because they are broken. Croatian has the cultural tradition "konni raids" that grants them. Also when you form a new culture, you should drop the isolationist tradition Bosnian has because you're going for such a wide, diverse empire.
Did you take the idea from my comment 6 days ago:
A fun playthrough is starting as a Croatian or Hungarian and hybridizing with the other so then you have both Koni and Horse Archers and can melt other armies so you don't have to chase them around the map.
But dont make yourself Head of Faith with people spamming gold to you, that would make this too easy
Try and follow more stories of other houses like you did the Vassal Peasant Revolt family, the Modena ruling family and the Feud family, its stories like those that make CK3 interesting
Imagine if you took the family of peasants, kept them with you the whole campaign and rose them to become the right-hand man of your empire
Yeah something like that was my first thought! making another cult type thing! and yeah it breaks the game a little too much haha
And yeah 100% will, its one of the main reasons i didn't want to rush the whole thing into 1 video, so it can be a little slower and can build mini stories along the way! definitely my favorite way to play!
Finally a Bosnian play through!!!! Put Bosnia in the title and watch your views skyrocket!
I went for this run as Serbian people of the Slavic religion. Now that was a nightmare, even as Byzantium's Vassal until we united the south slavs.
You could convert to krstjani, a balkan christianity with holy sites in the balkans, could really help and help make the playthrough more unique
Rat bucket torture is from Game of Thrones when Ariya was captured by the Lannisters
As a Bosniak you have my sub
How the hell has this one thumbnail done a better job in showing me the slavic reigon than anything elss that shows it (I have CK3 on PS5, which doesn’t show reigons)
"Attempting to create the biggest empire in ck3"
Me with my world conquest empire: excuse what the fu-
You could create a heresy from the Bosnian faith of Krstjani, they would have decent holy site locations within your realm.
You should revive the karolingers to the french throne
Some lord : abuses daughter
Snap : hippity hoppity your bloodline is my property
information: The inhabitants of Bosnia belong to the South Slavs and this is one of the three Slavic groups in Europe. We also have Eastern Slavs (Belarus, Ukraine) and Western Slavs (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Sorbian ethnic group)
What about Russian Slavs?
@@thechanglongwang russians is mixed blood, not pure slavs
Would be pretty cool if you took the dynasty legacy built around family as you install your family as local rulers.
Dejure wars have to be unlocked in the culture tab
I just united the Slavs it took me months! I’m so happy!
Bosnian-Prussian culture would just be perfect.
Why
Ready for the next part !
Just finished a Mali playthrough where I united Africa, re established the Sunni Caliphate, and dismantled the papacy all between 1066-1453. So satisfying.
controversial game goals of the 90s
Oooooh, typical slav hairstyle for the first character :D
I did this and it took forever without Warmonger. Then I started a campaign to Restore Rome because I like forming these giant empires
Mongol Empire IRL: Am I a joke to you?
13:41 casual eugenics
the rat bucket thing is a scene from Game of Thrones hahaha in herrinhall
Challenge idea. Try to fill your court with purple artifacts.
Revive/strengthen the Krjstani religion. It's a Christian faith in the Balkans that has a few holy sites right there. I think it'd be a really cool aspect to add, one people with one culture and one religion typa stuff
It took me a while to realise you need casus beli researched in order to do de jure claims, I miss CK2 :(
Oh yeah i completely forgot about that haha
11:45 you don't have a de jure casus Belli because it's a culture fascination that most cultures don't have in the year 867
Thankyou! yeah thats it! i completely forgot about that innovation haha!
@@SnapStrategy :)
That Bosnia map color looks soo good
Idk why but i can hear the Bosnian Artilery
Become steppe and hybridize with mogyers, get both konni raids and horse lords. I don't know if it's possible to become the khan of all khans of the slavs.
11:35 you didnt get the dejure war casus belli, because you culture probably hasn't unlocked it yet.
If you do form Slavia, just convert to the Slavianska religion, reform it and probably branch it to a different faith with a set of tenants, and stuff of your liking.
Since it would make sense Slavia's faith would be back to it's Slavic roots, and thus Slavic religion.
in 11:40 , I think that the de jure casus beli is one of the first innovations and you haven't unlocked it yet
Those Waldensians are about 300 years early
Not sure whats causing it, but my last few games they seem to always appear now haha
Love ur content of ck3 it's my favorite. I have ck3 on my Xbox but no keyboard and mouse support. It's so hard to play with a controller. Just navigating or movement is a night mare
The Bucket thing was in Game of Thrones.
the beast strategy man
You should convert to the local religion kryst(what ever it's called) so that when/if you make a new faith you get the holysites
Good point! thankyou man! think thats the plan convert to the local religion first and just see how it goes!
Okay guys give this one a bunch of likes so he can actually take it into consideration please!!!
Bro did something that not even Tito tried to do
Good stuff. Have you covered botnets?
You should try and do Portugal as Santiago 867 it’s not hard I think but I think it would be nice
For de jure war you need to unlock the de jure casus bellei innovation.
De jure Wars are a tech. Bosnian does not have it yet, hence you can’t do a de jure war.
the grandson was better then our actual son
Dude is there anyway I could just get some advice, I was playing Kristjani religion in the Slavic region, I’d get a bunch of land, Sicily, that whole Slavic area and even over to Ibera. Then the Catholics would holy war me and crush me and crush me.
Note sure if you've done before, but maybe Persia as a Zoroastrian?
I mean I am all for this series but wasn't there talk of a second channel for longer series? Tho I see no problem doing such like this one here on the primary channel.
Yeah! I wanted the 2nd channel to be for like WAY longer series if that makes sense, im hoping to get this done in 3 parts.
I wanted to start that channel already, but changing some things on this channel right now and just trying to change up my routine before i get on with the other channel haha
@@SnapStrategy ah, ok kinda makes sense. Well, glad to hear I'm not subscribed to a channel that won't go anywhere xD No rush.
