TAKE 3: North East Traditional Indigenous Knowledge

In this edition of Take 3, Dr Dipankar Saharia, Senior Director, TERI, is talking about North East’s diverse ethnic groups possessing extensive traditional knowledge, which they utilize in various aspects of their daily lives, including healthcare, environmental management, livestock diseases, waste management, water and energy conservation, and sustainable food production.
The traditional indigenous knowledge aimed to identify, document, preserve, safeguard and promote forms of Traditional Knowledge (TK) that existed and are still practiced at the community level.
