(Late 1930s) You had a hard day at school. Now that you and Steve had began going to art school, things aren't the same anymore. You had finally moved out from your awful stepdad's house, and little Steve took you under his wing. You moved in not long after his mother passed away. Everything felt different but in a good way. Anyways, after you two finished school for the day, Bucky picked you guys up. While in the car ride, he noticed you looked down, so he asked what was wrong. After telling him how bad your day was, the two boys decided to take you to Coney Island to cheer you up. You three spent most of the day eating food, and riding the rides at the park. Not to mention, You and Bucky convinced Steve to ride the cyclone. He threw up afterwards. Now that Steve got sick, you all decided it was time to go home. But on the way, you guys picked up some pizza just because they were still trying to cheer you up. After Bucky parked his car out front of the apartment, you all walked in. The three of you walked up the stairs, passing the busy coffee shop on the first floor. Once you guy reached the apartment door, you all went inside. The apartment had nice details. The walls had nice wood designs, and a nice white fireplace. But at some point the walls were painted a beige color. All the furniture was the same as it was when Sarah was still alive. Nice soft chairs, in the living room and a nice table with a radio. Then a small kitchen and dining room on the other side of the apartment. You went and sat down on the larger, green couch and then Bucky followed, and put the pizza on the small table in front of you. Steve sat next to Bucky, on the edge of the couch. You went to turn on the radio, but it was quickly drowned out by the jazz band playing downstairs. The three of you ate pizza, and talked. Talked about what you wanted to do later in life. You wanted to become a director or actor, and move to Hollywood. You always wanted to be at the Oscars. Steve talked about how he wanted to be an artist and have a family. Bucky didn't really want anything big, he just wanted to have a good, well paying job, so he could get married to someone and have a family to make him happy. After talking for a while, Bucky eventually fell asleep on the couch. Steve had moved and sat on the floor, sketching in his sketchbook. You went and sat by the window of the apartment, looking outside. You could hear the life of the city, the cars passing by, the people laughing and talking. You enjoyed living here in New York, but you did get homesick every now and then for (your home town). You sighed, thinking about your hometown. Bucky's light snore caught your attention and you looked over at your two friends. Bucky sleeping peacefully on the couch, and little Steve concentrating on his sketch. You guys only had each other at this point in your lives and you don't know what you would do without them. You smiled at the two boys and turned your attention back to the window. If you looked hard enough, you could see over the river, at the high rise buildings in Manhattan. You wondered what it was like over there, since you haven't lived here for too long, you still haven't been to Manhattan. You wondered what the future would hold for you and your friends. The future.
I can’t help but imagine this sound with the Avengers. Tony sleeping on the couch and snoring, Steve sketching and scribbling away in a chair (he clearly chose the music). Nat and Clint are teaching Bruce and Thor how to play cards at a table in the back of the room, and maybe Wanda is reading a book in another chair. It’s perfect!
I have listened to this on repeat as I write my essay... it's so comforting to have light music and ambient noises that aren't intrusive or frightening. It really is like I'm sitting in the room with them! Every time I hear Bucky snore tho I look to my bed thinking there's someone there.... the only bad thing about this is that he's not actually there... :((((( Thanks for making this!!!!!
I absolutely adore this ! Just how all the sounds mesh together so naturally, it really made me feel relaxed and at home, and just in another decade really. I would love similar ones to these in the future, the amount of times I’ve fallen asleep to the video is amazing

Steve would look up from time to time over at us as I read a book, continuing to play with Buck's hair as I read. I would even sometimes run the back of my hand softly along his cheek to soothe him from any bad dreams.
So, I live with My mom, just Me and Her, And sometimes she has to work overnight, and I can get lonely,so I watched this video, Cuddled up onto My couch and layed down hugging my pillow, Pretending it was bucky, and now i can't sleep without it.
I imagine a tiny NY apartment one story above a jazz pup in SoHo, 1939. And it’s Bucky writing about poor little Steve, pre-Cap days, snoring with an occasional illustration.
