Feel sorry that you didnt feel what most people did including me. I have never been more moved by a show was wonderful. I would be happy to pay double to see it some things you can't put a price on. Hope it come to the UK 🇬🇧
As a Manilow fan from day one I am so thrilled for him and Bruce Sussman to see this dream finally come to fruition for both of them. See them at the Tonys.
Saw this last night. I'm commenting a lot on this one because I was so eager for an original and this one was being talked up. It's BAD. Sorry not sorry. You can't ask audiences to pay what we pay for Broadway tickets and give us something this poorly executed after so much time and money being pumped into it. For instance... these men have phenomenal voices. All of them. And it's squandered by flat out bad arranging for vocals. You have SIX guys. Why so much doubling up on parts? It was so lackluster. We were bored to tears by this show. The narrator aspect was a terrible choice and clearly done to shoehorn in Chip Zien and get a name on the stage and it wrecks the flow with mass amounts of exposition. These six singers should have been developed and given so much better material to showcase them. Don't listen to anyone who tells you this is a good one. Everyone is desperate for good NEW shows and we shouldn't have to settle for mediocrity because no one will produce originals unless someone like Barry Manilow is attached. This was insulting to anyone who knows and understands good theatre. So many people walked out at intermission it was insane. But kudos to the case for trying very hard to shine this thing. Also... a direct plagiarism of a Chopin piece and not even having it sung by the character literally named Chopin was a pretty bit misstep among many big missteps. It will be interesting to see the actual reviews next week because of the Jewish subject matter but if you really need a good story about Germany during the war, go revisit Cabaret. It does what this tries to do with far better and long lasting iconic results.
I know i'm on a simping spree for blake roman (arent we all?) but omg this group is really good!!!!
I am still crying over this song - so beautiful, so timeless!

I think you're right. The two numbers I've seen and heard so far are beautiful and so beautifully sung!

WHO is the older gentleman that joins the group?
That's Chip Zien. He plays the Old Rabbi, and he is AMAZING.
incredible talent - I can't wait to see this on Broadway
Chip Zien is a veteran actor in over 20 Plays. Major talent
I see you in the background.
What happened to tony yazbeck? Wish josh young was in the lineup as well.

Oh gosh, was something really plagiarized in this musical? I enjoyed the show and would definitely be disheartened to find this out.
