Awesome video. You simply need to pull the cartridge down to break the air seal before you push the ink into the tube. With it sealed, the air simply acts as a spring and pushes the ink back out. The air needs to be vented. 1) Push where the white arrow is on the blue housing. 2) Push down on the black cartridge to pop it loose. 3) Very gently and slowly blow or push air into the hole like you did for the black tank. The ink will flow very very easily up to the cartridge holder. When the pipe is full 4) Push the cartridge back in place. Sort of push back and up until it clicks. Thsnks for the awesome video. Now I can fix my printer. I cleaned the clogged print heads by popping them out and soaking them in water and ended up with bubble in the tubes.
I was able to fix thanks to your video! 1. I opened the cartridge blue cover 2. Brought a syringe and pulled until I saw ink coming out and the pipes are full for each of 4 colors 3. Closed the blue cover, a small amount of air came out and pushed it in the pipe, so I've used your method and using another syringe pushed the ink back 4. Then clicked pull paper + blackwhite copy to start alignment 5. The printer started to beep after alignment finished 6. It now pushes air from the ink container to the cartridge (very very slowly, but you can see it happening). 7. At the end the blue color was still missing a lot to get into the cartridge but the rest look fine I guess if I'll do it again then blue would be fine but I don't wanna risk, having the rest is better than none...
I put the valve just after the resivoir cutting the pipe leaving about 2 inches so I could reach down to connect it I put some super glue where I pushed it in to make it secure. and there was enough room for it there.
I bought a HP smart tank plus 555. After 5 months I had print problems with the black ink, Looking inside I found that the black ink pipe was full of bubbles. I guessed that as it stood there it was sucking air back through the print head as the ink ran back into the black reservoir. So I fitted a small non return valve from ebay just after the reservoir in the plastic pipe to prevent this. I had to clean the ink out of the pipe and the small valve that prevents ink running out if the head is taken out and the head as it was full of thickened ink. Always keep your reservoir full of ink as when you get air into it the ink starts to thicken, as it should or it would be a moist copy, and clogs pipes and heads. A print job once a week stops stagnation.

Until entire tube is nearly filled, open the blue cap. you can use the syringe to draw the black ink via the small black needle thing. (draw until you can see the ink in syringe) 3. keep pumping the air like the video. (black ink will flow back slower than before) 4. close the cover quickly and print some thing (in black)!
They should just put syringes on the end of those tubes like any other ciss system. Then you could just pull the air through the cartridge, no questions asked....
Press the copy and colored button at the same time to flash the ink on the cartridge... Thats the simple way to fix the air on pipe., that was smart printer , smarter than you...

2. Until entire tube is nearly filled, open the blue cap. you can use the syringe to draw the black ink via the small black needle thing. (draw until you can see the ink in syringe)
3. keep pumping the air like the video. (black ink will flow back slower than before)
4. close the cover quickly and print some thing (in black)!
