Chris says "We know exactly what he did there" and I just nod along as if I have any idea what the hell is going on
He presumably put the pencil behind his head and used his fingers to make it look like it was going into his ear, the second half makes you question that presumption.
I rewatched 2 times before getting it.Thats why magic is much more imppressive IRL
Hahahah nice!! Agreed
The hand is quicker than the eye...lol
"Putting it in was magical" Chris Ramsay 2020
john mora you didn’t listen. He said NOT to do this 😂
Taking it out was fishy
@@CStrbel id hope not, dont want that shit to be stank
#oof
Oooooooooof
CR when I’m watching by myself: “hey guys, here’s some magic”
CR when my wife walks by: “slightly molesting the sides of the deck”
XD
Tell her if she would slightly molest the sides of your deck you wouldn’t have to be watching videos of it online bahahaha
And followed by that: The pencil penetration technique!
Man those roses took me 3+ hours, cheapskate pfft, its all about the effort 😂👌👍 she loved them anyway
Nice work dude.
PLUS... lasts longer, requires no wasting/changing water, no thorns, hypoallergenic AND is an eye-magnet, showing her visitors your depth of commitment which by implication affirms the high esteem in which you hold their hostess, the receipient of that unique bouquet! Were you a Samatha rather than a Sam, such a gift would certainly not go unappreciated by me ... NOR unrewarded! (awkward blush)
@@timsullivan4566 exactly what I thought before I made them! 😂
@@Magicsam87 And rightly so! :-)
I thought they looked be dope. I would have guessed more than 3 hours. We're not all cashing big checks from YT
Chris : we all know what he’s doing
Chris ( 15 second later ) : Wait What ??
What!!! At 13:41 you mention Blake Vogt, we both went to high school together. He would do magic tricks when we had to travel for golf matches and it always blew me away. One of my favs was he would vanish cards into our golf bags which were at the back of the bus. Fast forward 15+ years and I've been watching your videos recently interested in cardistry and to hear his name was pretty crazy! Keep up the great work!
Chris : It feels like a Super Power
Me : I'm a Super Human yayy....!
(That's me on 14:10)
Bravo. the closest i've come to any magic skill is magic by numbers or math magic with cards. basically, things that "just work" and don't take real skill. i'm genuinely impressed.
@@swanclipper thanks man i really appreciate it 😇
@Cordy Hamilton Are you asking for the secret or context...? 😂
@@iisamreeii did you actually bend your fingers backwards! that's amazing
D: I do really wanna know how you did that lol. It looks too real.
06:00 This deck is cut slightly trapezoidal (not enough to notice). You make sure the cards remain in the same orientation, until you shuffle them once (the more perfectly, the better). Now they're staggered. Now they can be separated easily.
I love how u try new things an r not ashamed 2 hide it. This makes it even more real 2 the fans n my opinion.
I subbed thinking it was just puzzles and didn't watch any past vids.... now that I've seen the past 2 or 3 vids I'm SUPER HOOKED!!!!
LOVE IT!
9:09 there were almost 120 decks of cards in that video. Im that nerd that counted. Its too late to not leave this comment. Sorry everyone, i dont normally do this.

I watch both your magic and your puzzle solves I love watching you your always great
Bruhh when Chris said "if you only had 3 quarters....just put them in your pocket".😂👏😂
I love me some Chris Ramsay. Super good dude that makes magic inspirational.
Hey Chris Love the magic videos, I used to hate when you would post only puzzles but eventually I got around it but still prefer magic videos such as top magic books which is my favorite video of yours
Chris Ramsey " I think we all know what your doing."
Also Chris Ramsey " WHAT IS GOING ON?"
@6:07-6:13 Hahahahah chris said pencil penchion! Molesting the sides 😅😂😅👏
13:45 it's by Dan Hauss
what's the exact name of the trick? I wanna buy it
@@devkhanduja5163 rubber through hand by Dan hauss
Innuendos... screw that! The guy had no nuts on his shaft 🔩
I like going though these frame by frame and seeing how they are doing it. In the case of the guy making the coin disappear, I could see the coin going around to the back of his hand but I have no idea how it was staying there.
The pencil-thru-head? Suspect exit "ear" is prosthetic with real ear taped back. And his head's rigidly-maintained angle to camera allowed the illusion that fake ear is not as far back as it must actually be. Also, maybe abrupt end during extraction because movement of pencil caused prothetic to start coming unsecured.
That... or hollow head.
8:48 OMG, I got my 3 seconds ! didn't expect to see my stuff. Thank you !
How did you do the trick?
As a lover of magic, 12/10 would have liked those more than real roses. Well done!!
I actually really enjoyed this little departure, bringing in the subreddit, very cool
Chris: putting it in was magical
Her : thanks
Chris: what I meant to say was this motion was a little Fishy
Her: uhmm...
Chris: *Reacts to magic*
Man with Pencil: "Watch me do magic"
Also Chris: "Seek Medical Help!"
You just created an innuendo 6:05! CHRISSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2:35 Yep, that's exactly me !!!
I dig when Chris tries the random cardistry. Good shit to watch!
That hand trick at the end is mind boggling
Real sorcery??
I didnt do the dishes and my mom wasnt angry at me
That’s clearly just the power of video editing, didn’t fool me.
Robby 48 Do the dishes, asshole. You got a good life, just do the little things, and your life will be even better. This is from an old man that has nothing but regrets, and wishes it could do it all over again, and doing dishes for my mom is at the top of the list.
Gabriel Moline you dont have to take it so damn seriously. you dont know his situation
Nikki I know I don’t have to take anything seriously at all. We all have choices. In this particular instance, I really, and truly, was making my best attempt at helping someone I didn’t know, and never will. I’m old, bitter, and wise. If only I had another chance at one pivotal moment in my past, I would do almost anything to change anything. I believe I was trying to help this individual, regardless of how serious or glib they were being. Wash the dishes for your mom. You will feel good for the rest of your life for doing so. That is all I was trying to convey.
No one liked there is 69 likes!!!
I love that the intros are always different and not the same every time! Definitely appreciate the extra work! 😊
I have a Magic Story:
My aunt and uncle came around my house for my sister's birthday (it was a little after it since they couldn't make it on the day) and I decided to show him the 99.99% 24 carat gold foil cards my friend had recently gifted to me. My uncle busted out some tricks, but I surprised him.
On one of the trick he asked me to pick a card. I remember that it was the three of clubs. I handed the card back to him and he shuffled the deck before laying the cards face down on the table.
"Put your hand over the cards and try find the one you had." He said, to which I asked how. "The closer to the card you get, the warner your hand will be. It will be colder the further away you are.
So I set about doing just that. I concentrated for many moments on where I thought was the warmest and picked up the card: it was my card the 3 of clubs.
I thought the trick was done then, but by my uncle's shocked face I guessed not.
"There was supposed to be more to that trick. You weren't supposed to find the card."
Strange right? I'm not one for magic tricks, but this was completely bizarre
Just as a note, Chris, the 2 bolt trick was done using digital manipulation. Run it at half speed and you'll see he loses a fingertip for a while at 1:28.
dude, some random people on the internet being SO FUCKIN TALENTED!!! i love people that have a passion and practice their brains out their head and in the end this beautiful things come out . for whoever reads this and has a dream: PRACTICE !!! start doing the small steps . everyday , 2-3 hours is not so much. even just 1 hour sometimes, but do it everyday. make practice part of your daily life . sooner or later something amazing will happen. it's the only way. it's the real magic pill from the old man on the mountain : practice!
I'm watching this video while enjoying my last cigarrette before quitting because I have pulmonar fibrosis, already bought nicotine patches, cheers for the enjoyment
How did quitting smokes go? Were you able quit?
@@jordanjohnson5784 hey, first of all thanks for caring, I managed to quit but then my mom passed away so I relapsed but funny enough, right this moment I achieved 24 hours smoke free and feeling strong, this is the one
@@magojake8321 Gotcha... I understand how things like that can put a temporary (hopefully) damper on " quitting ". Good luck
i like how chris exposes the magic when im sitting here confused... thx chris :)
Taken/Coin dude, show his hands at the end..... Faint shadow of something balancing/hanging outside/back of hand between thumb and index finger.
Skills.
6:25- 7:12 left side of head tilted away from viewer angle, telescopic pencil pre loaded in ear. He slides the real pencil behind his head/ down his neck. Tilts left side towards camera revealing pre loaded telescopic pencil
I dont do magic anymore, and dont really solve puzles but i watch both the videos because their just entertaining
You were totally right about forgetting to like the video... I came back and liked it tho. :) love the content man. Keep it up.
2:55 its really nice though! I like it
Atleast they received something for Valentines Lmao
8:13 You can juuuuust barely see the coin sticking out from behind his right hand. And right before that moment, you can see his eye ever so slightly look to his right hand to get a visual for himself. Actually, during the whole thing, his right hand is awkward and slightly unnatural - I suspect the coin spends most of its time there.
I honestly like the puzzles better but I love the magic to keep making both
That is true, we need more magical content, even if it is one like this one and not a tutorial! We feel the drought!
and i feel the spam
Chris: *music starts in a video* Ugh, music *hits mute*
Chris: *his own videos* Let’s get to it! *music plays at intro & throughout the whole video in the background while he talks in puzzle solve videos* 😂🤣
5:23 the moment when everyone watching paused the video to find a deck of cards
You're a champion, Chris. Let me make you a cocktail
Those uncut V3s are great! One of the few uncut sheets that actually look good on the wall
8:13 you can see the coin in his right hand. Between thumb and index finger.
12:45 "...is always a lot smaller than I liked it to be... I hear a lot of men suffer from the same affliction" LOL
Finally a magic video!
still love the puzzles 😁
Thank you, Chris. More please. Peace.
Great video thank you Chris!
I wanted to upload some of blackpool and from this subreddit inspired stuff...
But than I did not get around too -.-
Maybe in the week to come.

They got us second half not gonna lie
Just practice it many times and you will get there Chris .. practice does really make perfect .. i wanted to improve my drawing skills and i practiced and practiced and now im quite well known on FB .. great mix of videos i loved my watch i love to see you smile you are the best and i will only watch the best ..
Practice makes progress, not perfection.
I've got the memopad trick that Spidey was performing with, the sound isn't edited and it's not that expensive on amazon
I watch in amazement. Thank you for sharing 🌞🌞🌞
Your editing is super underrated 😍
6:40 maybe a dummy ear with pencil preinstalled, I'm guessing that he is using camera angling just the right way or something.
Last month only I realized that it was you who's been solving the puzzle 🤣🤣🤣 I was like...wait.... this guy sounds like the magic dude... And then KABBBOOMMM I've been watching Chris🤣🤣🤣🤣
8:12 you can see the "coin" in his right hand (our left) Play in super slow-mo
Chris i love your channel brother, i do have to say some of your facial expressions you look like Tom Hanks in Castaway...lol
The dog reaction is just priceless
its good work at 10:17 but you can see the magnet just a bit of color would hide it assuming i saw it right
Just ordered the UNCUT SHEET baby
My dad: “and then he does that divorce move”

I was in tears🤣😅🤣😂 "But putting was just magical.." best lines of 2020😂

I wonder if that mirror trick was a nod to Locke an key from Netflix cause he gags on all the foam balls... yes I know how that sounds lol
Id like to point out the dude from NC about the Monarchs playing cards, i believe him there are some Purple Monarchs playing cards at the Dollar General in Lexington SC...Dont know much about cards but have seen them there
Thank you for liking my dog, that’s very kind and he’s very happy bc he’s famous now 🤍

9:45 its Mac from It’s always Sunny in Philadelphia!
Chris: wow!!!
computer: why are you telling WOW!!! don't you know magic
It seems like bolt is glued to one finger and he is just super smooth in his movement.
Always look forward to your reacting to magic videos Chris. Amazing how even a Dog can react to magic even though he obviously doesn't know what it is. For that matter, neither do I....... 😂😂😂😂🐶🐶
I wasn't even thinking that till you said it!!! Hahahah
Chris making videos on his reddit. Actually just taking notes for future magic performances haha
Great vid. Love the reddits. Hilarious
This was great tysm for sharing
Hey Chris, when you do the riffle fan you should hold your left hand up some more to prevent the cards falling
9:14 wtf, that's creepy, like 3 seconds before you, I started making that exact same noise!
He knew the comment section would talk about it.
I love your friend Jeremy Griffith's sister, Janice.
Been waiting for another one of these.
wow finally we have this
8:20 its between his fingers on the hand to the left.
Chris may you make a video on great books to read to learn cardistry
6:48 dude has eargasm
With your riffle fan, after you let go with your left hand, pull your thumb under the cards so then they don't hit it. I think that's how he gets the full spin on it.
The sound of the piggy bank comes from him tapping the pad with the missing finger from his left hand.
So sad none of my garbage tricks made it into the video. Another time perhaps!! Great content, brother. Keep it up.
