There’s nothing sweeter than watching my handsome huggable lovable boy King Cinnabon taking his much deserved kitty nap and having sweet loving kitty dreams about his loving daddy and the quality time they spend together which melts my ❤️ heart as Bon’s meows are sweet music to my ears !!! 🎉Oh the ear tip says she was a rescued stray. How wonderful. I cared for a large colony of strays for 25 - 30 years. I just recently had my last sweet baby put down due to illness. She was rather young around 14 yrs with what was probably cancer in her mouth. My ferals did not stay in my house but I had special warm and dry outside accommodations for them. I live in the Chicago area with cold winters. I loved them and loved caring for them but I am in my 70s now so this is a good time stop. I will miss all the kitties though.
Oddly enough, those mews he was putting out while he was asleep, Might mean that he was actually Dreaming about something, as he was doing it. Sometimes my current cat will do that too, although, as he's doing it sometimes his feet will go a little bit as well. I didn't really ever notice my previous 2 cats ever doing either the mewing Or the moving during sleep thing, but I had them concurrently from 1987 to 2004, and was working full-time then, so didn't get to spend As much time with them. The boy I have now, has only been a part of my life since 02/2022, and I'm mostly retired at this point, so I'm with him far more often, and I get to see and experience a lot more of his day-time quirkiness.

He looks just like our Mac. Acts like him too a little bit. But Mac is only a year old so he’s still pretty rambunctious and mischievous! And is a wonderful retriever.
Cats, for the most part, only meow to communicate with humans, once they're grown. So if your cat is meowing in his sleep, odds are good, he's dreaming about you.
I reckon he was dreaming about you, the chirrup is normally a happy greeting sound and used more for humans. So laying on you, dreaming about meeting you…. Adorable!❤
