Great reaction. So the ending credits thats Floor Jansen the current lead singer for Nightwish she is married too Sabaton's drummer (the blonde German soldier you see in the video)also Sabaton has their very own Sabaton History Channel on youtube here is the 1 for this song ua-cam.com/video/LJq64dF5ZfQ/v-deo.html ,
Sabaton songs never glorify war, but instead show the humanity that exists even in the midst of chaos and bloodshed. They show the sacrifice, honor, heroism, and bravery of individuals and groups that needs to be remembered. Their songs make you feel proud, humbled, enthralled, and sad, often all at the same time. Enjoyed your take on this, keep rocking and stay safe.
The cross they portrayed in the video is still there, standing on a field in Flandres...We humans are just not able to learn from mistakes already made...and we do it again and again...War is hell
Welcome to the Sabaton Army! This is what this band is all about, history. Please continue and you will find out things you never knew. They also have a history channel you should check out.
They are from Sweden formed in 1999. Most of their songs are about Military History. Lead singer Joakim Broden doesn't have a huge vocal range, but he uses every bit of what he does have. He , and bassist Par Sundstrom, are the primary songwriters, and the only original members left. Tommy Johansson and Chris Rorland on guitar, and drummer Hannes Van Dahl round out the current lineup. The video was made by people who usually make movies. When the world shut down, no movies were being made, so they had time for this. For more Sabaton, try Bismarck, Soldier of Heaven, Ghost Division, The Unkillable Soldier, Primo Victoria, or the animated story videos for Night Witches and No Bullets Fly.
Sabaton only sings about actual real events in history! If you want to see another masterpiece, check out Sabaton "No Bullets Fly" Official Animated Story Video. It is about a German fighter pilot who saved an American B-17 Bomber crew during WWII. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/dslO-3GgenY/v-deo.html
Great reaction I agree truly a wonderful song and incredible story . Would love to see you react to more Sabaton “No bullets Fly and “Night Witches “ the yarn hub animated versions are great songs and stories. Thanks 👍🔥
You finished the song early….need to hear the vocals of Hannes’s wife Floor Jansen and to show appreciation to the supporting cast which was over 200 people that made the video what it was. Sydney base camp of the Australian chapter of the Nightwish and Sabaton army
They have a running joke in the band that they were looking for a lead singer when the guy singing now was hired to play keyboard.... still looking for a lead singer
If you want an awesome one with Sabaton you should react to en livstid i krig (a lifetime of war) live Scandinavium Gothenburg. I was there and you will not regret it. That album was about the great era of power (Stormaktstiden in Swedish) It is the Swedish version of the song (The album is about Swedish history and the released both in Swedish and English, the Swedish version tells the story from Swedish soldier's view while the English are more from an outsider) make sure the subtitles are on.
The soldiers in the trenches that were sometimes only 50ft apart. Trench soldiers had a you don't shoot and I will not shoot policy. They even would joke and tell stories of their families with each other. A course the commanders didn't like and would fire cannons trying to get their soldiers to fight.
After this event, many soldiers on both sides either refused to fight or intentionally missed their shots. Entire battalions on both sides had to be broken up and moved around because of their refusal to fight. The biggest enemy of war is showing the humanity of your opponent rather than the monster the propaganda says they are.
Sabaton greatness. Highly recommend "The red baron" "Night witches" "The unkillable soldier" and most especially "The Lost Batallion" and "Soldiers of 3 armies"

I'm not a religious man. But if there is a God, he showed up that day.
Next time pleeaase do not cut off Floor Jansen's voice at the end...
That wasn’t a spider 😂. That was you getting choked up and a nice save. It’s okay to be emotional and show your heart
