how long does it last?
It depends in the size of the chunk you use. It bubbles quite a bit and I had my glasses filled pretty high with kool aid so I used smaller pieces so it wouldn't bubble out.mine lasted about 15-20 min in the red one. If you fill your glass up less and use bigger chunks you could get longer life out of it.

Yes, you can definitely drink it with the dry ice still in the container. Just don't drink it with the dry ice in your cup. Only dip out the drink when filling your cups. And plastic is completely fine to use. Btw dry ice is basically frozen carbon dioxide ( the same thing used to make soda, only in frozen form) so it makes your drinks taste carbonated like a soda which I think it pretty cool! Have fun and be careful when handling the ice!

Yes! I have been wanting to make an owl cake, and I'm really glad you suggested it. I think since it is Halloween season an owl would be perfect! Might be a couple weeks, but ill get one up! :)

If I wanted to use cranberry and vodka ( or any juice mix with alcohol ) would the vodka negatively effect the dry ice? meaning the drink can't be consumed.

Hi Rebeca! You can use any kind of drink you want. All I did was add some dry ice to the drink to give it the effect. I don't know if you have Kool-Aid in Brazil, but that is the drink I used. :)

yes! it is because the dry ice dont get liquid after than solid... it instantly gets from solid to gas ... so it doesnt even touch the drink!

only if you breathe it in. Dry ice is frozen CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) witch is in soda, so the least its doing is carbonating your drink. Al said and done DO NOT EAT IT.
It's not toxic as long as you don't eat it if you put it in a drink it doesn't make the drink toxic

Joelis Rodriguez Hi Joelis! You can usually get the dry ice from local grocery stores. I am not sure where you live, but here in the U.S. I go to Harris Teeter for my dry ice!
