I saw a chrome recovery job done in black and copper colored paint. Looked great! i just finished with a Softail that was garaged 14 yrs ! Replaced all fluids, , oil, trans, primary. The gas was nasty. You might wanna put some seafoam or other additive in the gas! Ride free, Wulfy
Lots of gunk in the float bowls for sure. It might be a good idea to get rid of the old gas and clean out the gas tank too. If someone forgot to put gas freshener in the tank, it can be gunky too. Gas filter is in need to be replaced also.
good video....been there and done it but fix volume of video in general especially at beginning because this video subject will find 1000 homes....thankyou....
It's running on one cylinder. Just change the damn sparkplugs, put the tank on and some seafoam, change air cleaner.... and what about actually removing the carburetor and working on it, blowing some high pressure air in the ducts...
You obviously don’t know what you’re doing, take it to somebody who does and pay the money! You act like I put “how to” in the video title lol spend 30 grand to go to school like I did or pay for a real mechanic
MOUSE PISS IS WHAT CAUSES THE CORROSION ON THE CHROME. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST CORROSIVE LIQUID ON THE PLANET. GREAT VIDEO. THUMBS UP! WITHOUT A BEER.

Wulf Claw I ended up powder coating all the chrome gloss black and it came out pretty good.
I found one that's a 2001 that was running fine and has been sitting for 10yrs. Any idea what it's gonna need? Debating on grabbing it

Hope mine starts. Left it for a month without starting it and battery went bad and now it won’t start. Thanks for the vid.
If it only sat for a month, you should be OK, but longer than that especially if you have California gas in it you might need to clean the carburetor.
@@MasonGeorgeMotorcycles thanks bro.
What did you spray into the air filter to get it to start up? Starting fluid?
carb cleaner

I did all that and more in future videos! Bike turned out great. Thanks for tuning in
i used to have a dog that would bark and bite the tires when the bike first started and then kinda run off.
Big evo:s need primed before starting 4 0r 5 twists on the gas and repeat a few times until engine catches full choke until warmed up.
pro tip : watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
