I fell in love with A.C.E predebut. I saw them busking and Zombie Dance was 🔥 (especially when they scatter into the audience) and I swear Beat Interactive only feeds the boys cds for breakfast, lunch, dinner and between meal snacks. You'll also never meet sweet people in your life. I adore these guys. Fun fact: all of the MVs are connected by lyrics, background or visuals. Just pronounce Chan as you would in your English accent. Americans (including members of my family that are also half English lol) struggle with the short vowel concept and say names like Chan or San with the American ‘a’ than makes it sound a bit more like an ‘e’ or they’ll draw out the ‘a’ so it ends up sounding more like in the guide: ‘Chaan’/ ‘Charn’. From experience if you try to show them the difference they can’t tell and end up just using both interchangeably. What’s interesting is due to the US influence from the war, Hangul gets romanised as best as possible to match American vowels and it doesn’t always work or match the Korean sounds but if they applied British/ European vowels I feel they would actually learn English pronunciation easier. Language and cultures are fascinating :D . Unfortunately I’m going to have to leave this video after ‘tangerine farmers’ and actually get up to go to work- loving the reaction so far, particularly you finding Byeongkwan cute as he’s my bias (but I love them all) x
