William is the best vocalist for them, and I’ve really come to love this version of AIC. I also will love Layne forever and I do believe he’s approving/jamming from up there. Enjoy this music! That's the facts!!! Unfortunately Alice In Chains died with Layne in 2002, without Layne there is no AIC, period.
