- Max the Great Dane loves his Dad so much. Watch and enjoy as Max asks his Mom to open the door so he can go for a swim and enjoys some dipping and sipping while waiting for his Dad to come home. Max's expression turns to pure joy when he sees his Dad come out of the house and he leaps out of the pool to love on his Dad. How wonderful to feel and see so much love! What a joyful reunion and Dad was only gone for two hours!

Lol that reminds me of my bull mastiff. One thanksgiving I was peeling potatoes and he was sitting watching, he just turned his head didn’t even stand and took a potato off the counter, my sister stared in shock and said “that potato is the size of my babies head! He could eat my baby in 1 bite!” As my 5 mo premature niece sat a few feet away in her high chair. They’re gentle giants and he adored her. He just wanted a potato and it was eye level lol
My niece had one that could stand flat footed and drink out of the kitchen faucet.

To all of us worrying about the dog drinking chlorinated water, those people clearly have an expensive home and pools made entirely of cement are often treated with salt and earth filters, not chlorine. It’s much more expensive but that would explain how they let the dog drink the water. Though all dogs seem to do this at least a little in chlorinated water as well. Like little kids sometimes drink some accidentally.

Having worked at a pool store when i was younger, i thought the same thing. All the rich people avoided chlorine for the smell and how it fades materials and surfaces.
MMF CEO yeah, my neighbors had a salt pool. It was nice on your skin but the pool was much smaller than ours and when my mom looked into changing it was extremely expensive. Also, her method of cleaning the deck cushions each summer (which were mostly white) was to over chlorinate the pool and soak the cushions in the pool water for two days :) worked quite well and saved me as a kid scrubbing time!
A year later- watching this again - it’s just one of my all time favorites - apparently, over 5 million people agree 🥰

Idk where they are or how much it differs but i can tell you I have 2 danes and they eat a 50 dollar bag a week.

Beautiful dog...Great Danes known as the heartbreak breed, because their life expectancy is only about 8 years.
i have heard that so many times, I have had two Great Danes, both passes away at 15 years, they were fit till very near the end. I am convinced its all about the exercise, not forced, they tell you what and when they want it and the size of the sofa you have for them to relax on. oh and tens of thousands of dollars worth of chicken neck from the local butcher.
Probably even shorter after drinking all the chlorine

@@keviemac Yes to a raw food diet! I adopted a Great Dane/Lab mix at 4-5 years old (they weren’t sure of his age & I was his 3rd owner). I put him on a raw food diet and he blossomed - shiny coat, teeth got clean & gums were great after a few months. Not to mention he loved it, LOL. We also walked 3-4 miles a day...I was told he was rescued from living in a 10x10 pen for at least 2 years. He loved our walks & was a gentle giant. He lived to be nearly 11, but I’m sure he would’ve lived longer if he’d been on a raw diet since weaning.
@@lynnhoffman247 I’ve heard so much about raw diet to pets, but I’m still skeptic 😅 I just hate the idea even if when I try to rationalise it does make sense... But what I wanted to comment is that I’m glad that he was able to have a much better life before passing away 🥺 💘

Work hard, don’t ever spend on unnecessary things (not even weekend getaways or eating out at fancy restaurants to celebrate special occasions), stop buying everyone in the family gifts for Christmas and birthdays and instead pick one or two people to give gifts to, invest 10% of your income every month to various stocks or ETFs, get a great tax person who can be,p you write off even more things so you pay less in taxes, after working a day job come home and start working on something you’re passionate about which can make you a full time living after about 2 years of dedicated work, and if you can be disciplined like this for the next 10 years, you will then be able to relax a little and begin to make big choices. This is why most people are not wealthy, it’s not because they’re unlucky, it’s because they simply find the path to wealth too difficult.
I wish I was blessed to have a backyard like that. A dog lives a better live than me lol

Clearly the "Dad's home!!"line has been used before to no avail and Max ain't getting the pool til he sees proof. My pup is savvy to these tricks too. I can't imagine life without dogs in it. They're essential.

i’ve had 10+ dogs who go around and drink pool water and they’re all old and healthy
it actually keeps them from having worms and such
none of my dogs have ever had worms in their lives
We have checked with numerous vets and a small amount of pool water. is ok for Dogs and Cats. It is obviously not Max's only source of water.

Amazing! Had Great Danes for 30+ years, as many as 6 at a time. I took every puppy into the pool to make sure they could get out in an emergency. But, my Danes would step over puddles to avoid getting wet!!!
