I do media for Texas, specifically Houston. I had moved from Colorado, so this was my first year covering Texas HS Football. I covered two games that PJ was playing in: North Shore-Westfield & FB Hightower-Westfield. Both games, PJ was very impressive in. I was surprised myself to find out that he was not at least a 3 🌟 recruit. I was trying to figure out why, He had played at Klein Oak and his junior year (2021) was his first Varsity year, his passing stats were: 89-171, 1538 yards, 18 TDs, 4 INT’s. His senior year, he transferred to Westfield: 162-252, 2841 yards, 43 TDs, 6 INT’s. So although I would’ve rated him at least a 3 🌟, that maybe the recruiting outlets would’ve wanted to see his Westfield senior year for his junior year instead of the the Klein Oak stats. I also feel that the Westfield offensive scheme was better suited for PJ & to maximize his effectiveness versus the Klein Oak offensive scheme. In addition to PJ Hatters exploits on the gridiron, he is also an accomplished track sprinter. Looking forward to seeing how he does at Texas State (was verbally committed to Jackson State, he signed his NLI to Texas State).
PJ is a great addition to Jackson State! People need to realize having stars doesn't make the player, his work ethic does! You see how Texas A&M turned out this year! Team full of 4 & 5 stars, so they say! 😂🤣😂
Sure hope PJ can bring this kicker to Jackson with him 😂😂
Welcome to JSU PJ Thee Mad Hatter 🎩🎩
