- Jay Slater’s father has said he is in a “living hell” as the search for the missing teenager enters its second week.
Warren Slater has been putting up missing posters in the town of Santiago del Teide, Tenerife, as he appealed for anyone who had seen his 19-year-old son to come forward.
His family has now released a CCTV image captured last Monday evening of a figure walking through Santiago del Teide, a town a few miles away, 10 hours after Jay last made contact.

Bizarre claims? It was only as far back as spring when a woman's body minus her legs, and one of her hands with a plastic bag over her head was found just off the coast of the same island. Greece? Tenerife is off the coast of Morocco and is part of Spain . It’s an amazing place. Went in 2017. Teide National Park is something to behold.

How long have the parents had the CCTV footage? Why haven't the police, who surely MUST have seen it, released it to the public before? If they saw it day's ago WHY did they spend so much time & resources searching area's that he hadn't been to? Did they have good reason to dismiss the CCTV as being him & if so what?
My understanding is his Mother was told of a man who saw him, she managed to get hold of the CCTV & SHE released it 🤷🏼♀️
Is it known if the man had contacted the police who for some reason are sure he is on that mountain & possibly thought the CCTV to be inconclusive evidence of being Jay?
