I had a similar experience with a smaller bird. Luckily he saw me, balled up and dove. I was just looking up to see the wings tucking in and bombing away. He would have hit me right in the spinner!
@@GMascelliYeah, those bigger birds tend to hold their ground, (well air), longer than the smaller ones. We have a lot of eagles and hawks here. I stay way clear of the Bald Eagles. They don't move at all.

it happens pretty fast. I thought it was going to hit Mary's side or the right wing as you can tell by her oh my God moment. 😲
