You can use your elemental sight to find scarabs more easily, since they will glow(You'll be surprised how many people don't know this). Hopefully this can ease the pain of farming for them edit: I see some people saying this doesn't help. Guys, you still need to be close enough to the bugs so that they will spawn. The elemental sight thing is just to help so that you don't have to look for them with naked eye. Since without Tighnari, these bugs pretty much blends with the background
I feel bad for Moga because my Cyno building experiences were drastically different. I co-opped a lot, I met many kind people and I could farm while talking about genshin and life
I don’t get why Moga didn’t coop for them, especially with the fact his twitch and discord are both so active. It would have made it a lot less intense with trying to level up his character in time for a video

Theres a good five stack of them in few places, why not just co-op with the people who watched the stream, and he has done this in the past, most recent being the dori flowers right? Also there’s already a farming route made for them where u get like 40-50 scarabs that are on the surface. Moga could’ve taken the easy route but I still feel bad for him because Hoyo really wants to make us suffer.
@@Solarized666 i think during that video, he was under the impression that most of the scarabs were under the surface. so he was extremely annoyed when he only found 1 or 2 after doing a quest he didn’t like. ofc it wasn’t his fault, after all ppl did tell him most were underground, but it is a bit silly when he could’ve used the interactive map and then co-oped from there haha.
I have never had so many people randomly request to join my world. A lot of people coming in and out to get scarabs so I have to warn them every time that someone was there before and might have taken most of them. And most of those people offer to help out with whatever I need like bosses or commission. The scarabs are a pain to farm, but they’re certainly encouraging community togetherness!
Oh that’s why I’ve gotten so many. Yeah I got Cyno and Candace as well, so yeah not letting in people till I can get what I need as those stupid scarabs and Cactus fruit are so stupidly hard to farm
I grab every regional specialty I come across… I only have like 30 scarabs at this point. Got over 200 Padisarahs already for when Nilou is released- given their presence in the quest, my guess they’ll be her material. For the anniversary/new player marketing, they certainly made …choices with scarabs.
Basically a reset. I E then Q and then E again as soon as the -1 second cooldown is off. That way you get your 2/3 stacks to max out his Q state damage with his weapon as well.
i recommend watching guide videos for more material locations ! i got him on the first day on his banner and i’ve been using guide videos so i can see where there are more scarabs ! just today i got 24 for farming for about ten minutes !
I was just so glad that I had some friends who either lost the 50/50 or didn't want to roll for Cyno at all. They've been a big help in getting Cyno to lvl90

Basically, characters that are reliant on their burst will have burst cons upgrade on C3 and vice versa for characters reliant on their elemental skills. E.g: Raiden, Eula and Cyno will have their burst upgrade on C3 but Hu Tao, Yae and Albedo will have their E. Skill on their C3 instead.
I hope you’re ok Moga. You sound really fed up in this video. If you’re feeling burnt out remember it’s ok to take a break for a bit even if it’s just a couple of weeks.
Edit: the respawn works very weirdly, I was able to collect some scarabs once yesterday and twice today, but some of them weren't there at all. Funny thing was that I didn't pick some of them yesterday because I couldn't find them, couldn't find them today, but found them in a friend's world. Weird I actually discovered that scarabs respawn more frequently, I collected some yesterday, went to the same spots today and they were there. A friend saod you just have to exit the game and enter again and they'll reappear, but I haven't checked that yet
for cyno of you're using a low base atk weapon, an em sand could be more beneficial, atk sand w higher base atk weapon. He's quite flexible to build in that he can use 4 different artifact sets: 4gilded, 4thundering fury, 4thundersoother, 4gladiator hope that helps!
He is very fun and good with a nice design but somehow hes getting so much hate? Like were ppl expecting him to be on Raiden (an Archon) level? I'll never understand metaslaves tbh.
Strength wise he turned out to be more or less the same as Keqing who used to get shit on a whole lot. So it justifies the hate because of his hype since Travail. The most funny thing I find is people skipped Yoimiya for Cyno and all when she has one of the highest single target damage after C2 Raiden and Hu Tao also she is most flexible DPS.

for god mode u can try albedo+zhongly, they are used many where yes, but i never saw u utilizing their duble geo core anyway, so its free for cyno - and for him its good because of shield->damage buff, zhongli's long shield and res shred, albedos LONG LASTING E which is important for cyno, and also albedo busts em for 12 secs after burst, its also useful and i'd say dendro mc they have the biggest aoe and best application right now and also longest duration as u can see supports warking time is actually an issue here
I recently marked every single scarabs on the map that isn't on the underground. I was able to find 42 of it. Not much, but if you have friends that doesn't raised Cyno or don't have a Cyno, you should be able to get it pretty fast just by joining them. The thing is, a lot of people pulled for Cyno(I did also), and scarabs are scattered all over the map. Just farming 42 of them in your world considering you have unlocked every teleporters will still takes 7-10 mins with Yelan and Sayu on your team. Just a note, if you collect all of the 42 scarabs in your world and you only have 1 friend to steal from, you will still be able to level your Cyno to level 70. It's just all about patience :) doesn't mean its fun thou.
I got cyno from guaranteed, then out of nowhere he appears 2 more times in 6 pulls, my luck is pretty bad most of the time, but now i have a c2 5 star. Good luck for everyone and sayonara.

Update on my Cyno, (for anyone who have seen my previous comments) I finally got his BiS and I'm shocked. I just used the intertwined fate from Paimon's Bargain.
Gilded if you have his main weapon. TF if you are good at rotations and timing. Gladiator or Thundersoother are the best overall if you don’t want to deal with the other stuff.
It took me like 2 hours to get all the scarabs I needed to get him from lv40 to lv80. First I got all from my world on the surface (while unlocking the rest of the tps since I didn't get to most of them b4), then I got most of the rest in two ppl's world's who didn't have Cyno and we just vibing. The last two ppl I just took 2 from one person (seems like someone took them alr so they were hard to find) and 3 from the last person (same story as the former). Not as painful as I thought and I kinda laughed at myself for putting it off for a few days.
BTW I LEARNED THIS FROM A PERSON I JOINED EARLIER TODAY: A KID IN AARU VILLAGE WHO HANGS OUT IN THE WESTERN PART DURING THE DAYTIME I THINK (?) GIVES 4 SCARABS IF YOU TALK TO HIM IDK IF THAT'LL HELP ANYONE AT ALL BUT IT DID FOR ME

Scarab hunt isn’t so bad with a casual mindset! Lol there are a few teleport points with a couple of scarabs next to them. Just pick up a few every other day or so and focus on building other characters for now~ ^_^ you can just enjoy cyno in the overworld until he is strong enough for domains/abyss!
I just need SIX of those scarabs for ascending him past 60 and I have been trying to join other people's worlds whole day but everyone that accepted hadn't unlocked the desert region so I just gave up
In order to raise my wife's Cyno to 90 it took farming 5 worlds worth of non quest-gated scarabs. Two accounts from me, two from a mutual friend, and her own, maybe 3 scarabs left over after. It could take around a half hour per world to get to all of the spots as well (as none had waypoints/ statues unlocked at first of course). Genuinely no one can blame you for needing to be a bit slower in raising him. Its a shame when that's not typically how content-making is supposed to work, but Cyno is by FAR the most annoying/ time consuming character we've had to farm for and its totally understandable that you just haven't had the time to raise him properly. He'll get there, and he'll SLAP when he does. Trust.
Can he do a showcase of keqing with an aggravate / quicken team i feel like it would make her do big numbers and sounds pretty fun too, knowing how moga likes keqing and all
Moga I know it’s a little late but theres a guy on UA-cam named KynoStinV who does scarabs farming routes and you get 60 scarabs in like 10minutes I got my cyno to lvl80 in one day❤️
All you need to know and all anyone needs to know about Cyno's best artifact set is this, If you have his signature weapon then his best set is Gilded because his weapon works better with that set If you don't have his weapon then Thundering Fury is the better set
Finally managed to level him to 90 today after two days of farming them, needed to join the world of two of my friends in addition to farming in my own world 💀
I got super lucky and got two EL on Raiden's rerun banner and I was telling a friend and he said something like oh, cool two and I was just deadpan I didn't consider keeping it. I refined it already. Raising weapons is such a pain 😂
You should use Gladiator's Finale! It is one of his best sets, slightly lower than Thundering Fury (which requires very precise rotations and enemys to be in your range), and slightly better than Guilded
I use echos sets lol it's pretty nice. Lets me do 10k normals alone with a r5 white tassel lvl6 all talents. I am c1 tho so it's really helps gets those 70% more atk procs faster

Fun fact: going into burst mode resets Cyno's E (skill) cooldown
not resets but shortens. and most of it goes during cast time

I relied on my 101 friends to get all the scarabs in 3 hours. Then I got a level 80 cyno in 2 days
I wanted scarabs so bad I journeyed a players world with an unlit map from closest statue in the jungle 😭

Just pick up a few every other day or so and focus on building other characters for now~ ^_^ you can just enjoy cyno in the overworld until he is strong enough for domains/abyss!

I just need SIX of those scarabs for ascending him past 60 and I have been trying to join other people's worlds whole day but everyone that accepted hadn't unlocked the desert region so I just gave up
Lol I went through 2 peoples worlds that had 0 statues and way points in the desert and farmed the scarabs out. I'm tired of waiting lol

In order to raise my wife's Cyno to 90 it took farming 5 worlds worth of non quest-gated scarabs. Two accounts from me, two from a mutual friend, and her own, maybe 3 scarabs left over after. It could take around a half hour per world to get to all of the spots as well (as none had waypoints/ statues unlocked at first of course).
Genuinely no one can blame you for needing to be a bit slower in raising him. Its a shame when that's not typically how content-making is supposed to work, but Cyno is by FAR the most annoying/ time consuming character we've had to farm for and its totally understandable that you just haven't had the time to raise him properly. He'll get there, and he'll SLAP when he does. Trust.
Another correct pronunciation of scarab is scah-rub which is what I prefer tbh
In both pronunciations the "sca" syllable is the one with emphasis

Moga I know it’s a little late but theres a guy on UA-cam named KynoStinV who does scarabs farming routes and you get 60 scarabs in like 10minutes I got my cyno to lvl80 in one day❤️

All you need to know and all anyone needs to know about Cyno's best artifact set is this,
If you have his signature weapon then his best set is Gilded because his weapon works better with that set
If you don't have his weapon then Thundering Fury is the better set
Finally managed to level him to 90 today after two days of farming them, needed to join the world of two of my friends in addition to farming in my own world 💀
I got super lucky and got two EL on Raiden's rerun banner and I was telling a friend and he said something like oh, cool two and I was just deadpan I didn't consider keeping it. I refined it already. Raising weapons is such a pain 😂
never refine your 5* weapons unless you're a whale

Dont sleep on Skyward Spine. Its give you decent ER, atk spd, and bro its very suitable on Cyno instead of his signature wp!
You should use Gladiator's Finale! It is one of his best sets, slightly lower than Thundering Fury (which requires very precise rotations and enemys to be in your range), and slightly better than Guilded
I use echos sets lol it's pretty nice. Lets me do 10k normals alone with a r5 white tassel lvl6 all talents. I am c1 tho so it's really helps gets those 70% more atk procs faster
@@banditdoggo eh that only buffs 1 out of every couple normals i dont think its as good as buffing all even if its slightly worse. if its ur only option tho its fine
