It is strange that Svetlana did not say that those who arrived would need to learn Russian. They will also need to embrace the local Russian culture. Of course, you don't have to do this, but then they won't be of any use to the country, even if they are major experts in their field. Because if the population of a country is not united by common ideas of how to live, what is good and what is not, then it will not stand even under light pressure, not to mention the pressure that has always been exerted on Russia. Actually, English-speaking countries have always been protected from strong enemies by the seas, and therefore extreme individualism could only arise there. But having penetrated to us, he began to destroy our country. Therefore, visitors should answer the question for themselves: are they ready to change their culture towards rapprochement with the local one. And if SO, we invite you.

It is mandatory, because many migrants do not consider it necessary to learn the language of the country where they arrive. Since you write in English, you are probably from the West. If I were you, I wouldn't put funny faces here, because the situation in the West is much worse than ours, and in the coming years you will have big problems with migration. Glad I found your channel, through Countryside Acres. The collaborations with other channels are helpful, such as Moscow photographer. Could you two do some shows and interviews with retirees spending time in Russia, short term, longer term or eventually as citizens? I imagine there are many retirees around the world, who have lived an accomplished life and with resources who want to travel, see the sights, eat the good food, enjoy the culture, spend their money there in an environment that is safe, healthy, beautiful, friendly, good to their own citizens, peace loving and spiritually connected. All the best from Indiana.
Thanks for the idea. I will think about how to do that and in the meantime here is a resort video we have: 🇺🇸 AMERICANS at a RUSSIAN 🇷🇺 Resort in Winter !! ❄️ See what they find ! @AuroraBRose

Joseph is a good public speaker, and Sveta did a great job as an interpreter. You guys are having too much fun there, I am jealous.
Thanks so much! It was a good moment.
Bring your husband to work day! Great video. Thank you
🤣 Yes. Hopefully I did not steal the show.😁
Thanks!
Wow! Thanks so much!
Very nice, good job! For other commenters: in my opinion Svetlana and Joseph are not political or lawyer by education, and they speak what they think and feel. Of course we can all correcting opinions, but in general they are right (we need more professionals, because i cannot find people for job about 6 months and above, we literally have not enough working hands). Of course we need find culture match with expats, or give them good onboarding, but it’s details.
But this details really important when it's become a law. And with government we need to talk about this details. I hope we find significant improvement in this case for all.
Thanks. Yes we want the culturally friendly westerners but I gave this speech already in my first video on our playlist: Saint Petersburg

With each video I watch on this channel, I become more enamored with Russia and the Russian culture. It will always puzzle me how The US completely hit the skids so suddenly. I suppose that no matter how well intensed and thought out a political system is, there will eventually emerge contras that strive to pervert the original concept. You mentioned you were at the NYU Film School, I did a few student films there in the early eighties. I remember a great spot on 2nd Ave named Kiev; was it still there when you attended? Be well
Thanks so much. I do not recall that place.
it's simple biology. Biology rules the world, not 'concepts or political systems'
Hello again Joseph, I just wanted to add how I love living in Russia and don't regret my decision to leave America. My neighbors, friends, and just about any of the Russian's I meet, all treat me like a celebrity and are glad that I'm here. Oh, BTW I speak very little Russian but most of the Russian's I know speak English 😁 making my life easy. Because I'll be 72 years old on July 8 and the Russian language is very difficult for me to learn...
Oh wow! Thanks for your story.

No, in Russia they don’t have ‘climate change’.
Exciting. 😁

Yes, the recent devastating floods were also caused by those machines. The West are losing the military conflict so working overtime at tearing Rus apart in other ways, hoping to turn public opinion (Hegelian: order out of chaos) I.e. "Let the West come and help you!"
The West are desperate for a Regime Change
Papers and bureaucracy is the main hurdle.
Probably
I hear, our government want to do this stuff easily for people whit profile education. But now yes, the bureaucracy hardest part for the expats

You are in the Gostiny Dvor, the so-called old courtyard, where merchants stayed and then traded in medieval Moscow. Your family is doing a very noble and necessary thing: firstly, your reports blur propaganda stereotypes and myths, and secondly, you help people who disagree with left-liberal ideology find a home in a country with traditional values. This is invaluable for the country and for people. Now is the time "not to scatter, but to collect stones, in the words of biblical images. Ваша семья делает очень благородное и нужное дело: во-первых, ваши репортажи размывают пропагандистские стереотипы и мифы, во вторых, вы помогаете людям, которые не согласны с лево-либеральной идеологией, найти себе пристанище в стране с традиционными ценностями. Это неоценимая для страны и для людей помощь. Сейчас время "не разбрасывать, а собирать камни, если выразиться библейскими образами.
Thank you so much and I very much agree.

She says that a lot but I guess not in this video.
Language is a must in any country!Does she really needs to mention that?😀
It is mandatory, because many migrants do not consider it necessary to learn the language of the country where they arrive. Since you write in English, you are probably from the West. If I were you, I wouldn't put funny faces here, because the situation in the West is much worse than ours, and in the coming years you will have big problems with migration. Frankly speaking, your countries are not likely to survive. If you are a local, it is a pity that elementary things are not taught at school. Although this is understandable, since we were prepared for a world without nationalities and without states ruled by corporations.
Glad that ur moving up in life lad, glad to see russia gave u an oprotunity to grow and i hope u continue to do so in the future
