Even though he was already a veteran when I started skating, my older friends forced me to watch the first few Plan B and Girl videos. It's been cool to see Carroll go from awkward insecure kid, to major name/top pro, to legend status, to stressing about filming and keeping up with the young guns, and then finally how he is here, totally comfortable with himself and his place in the game. Being an adult sometimes means accepting your idiosyncrasies and bring comfortable with who you are, for better or worse.
