23:55 "You're asking, how could Mohammed know that the ocean is dark...", "Yes, exactly!!" Bruh... The desperation, when these poor Muslims parrot some braindead claim that their Imam somehow convinced them was super-duper-impressive, is just staggering. "How could a guy in the 7th century possibly know that the ocean gets darker, the deeper you go?!?", "How could a guy from a farming culture, who slaughtered and butchered animals daily, possibly know that an early-stage fetus looks like chewed gum?!?", "How could a guy LIVING IN THE DESSERT possibly know that water is neccesary for life?!?" It's like they think people in the 7th century were absolute morons, who couldn't possibly figure out the most basic, directly-observable facts about the world they lived with. Of all the goofball stuff I've heard from people claiming to have proof of magic, "a man in the ancient world knew that the ocean is dark" is possibly the most astoundingly dopey.
When i read that verse i cannot come to the conclusion that it even talks about the naturtal darkness of the deep sea ,it wouldnt make sense ,it clearly talks about a storm and waves and dark clouds above the vast sea and a person who puts his hand in it he cant see it. How can a person survive 650 feet under the ocean surface to even put his hand out...Darkness in the verse reffers to the storm ,the context of the verse talks about storm which causes darkness not about deep sea being dark naturaly .
"I thought Christian apologetics were rock bottom... until I heard Muslims apologetics..." This phenomenon of stupification isn't only found in Islam, though. There are plenty of equally asinine claims among fundamental Christians and Jews too. Even among theist Christian historians, like Mike Licona, let alone the average fundie off the street (which is even worse compared to any normie off the street/access to zoom, because in Licona's case, it waters down academics/Phd's, when those with said achievements believe in shit like the resurrection/clearly illogical miracles/happenings/biased interpretations, and are supposed to represent the "best and brightest" of Christians). Just seems like moot at best, biased at worst take to hold onto.
And the guy clams at 29:40 that the deepest one can dive is 4 or 5 meters deep. There are guys who dive 500 feet ( > 150 meters) without any scuba gear. A fit man can hold air in the lungs for over 3 minutes even at that depth. This moron while trying to defend the Quran even insults AP. Just another faith driven Loser!
I thought Christian apologetics were rock bottom... until I heard Muslims apologetics... The absolute BEST of Muslim apologetics, is taking some super-vague, poetic verse, and then saying "Look!! If you squint REALLY hard, it kinda-sorta-maybe looks like this verse TOTALLY predicted [some scientific idea discovered by non-Muslims, who never referred to the koran, centuries after the koran was written]!!!" You can use this exact same technique to "prove" that Beatles lyrics, or Mr Men books are supernatural and divine- "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was TOTALLY predicting the discovery that all elements (like diamonds/carbon) originated in stars, in the sky!!!" That makes about as much sense as claiming that a koranic poetry about "stretching out the sky like a tent" is TOTALLY talking about Hubble expansion!!" Why is that, whether it's Christians, Muslims, Mormons, Scientologists, NONE of them grasp that it's not "a prediction", if you only discover the "right interpretation" of this super-super-legit "prophesy" AFTER we already know about the event/discovery you're """pre-dicting"""? If these """scientific propesies""" from the koran are so super-duper-legit, and REALLY DO point so clearly to these scientific discoveries, then why has there not been ONE SINGLE TIME IN HISTORY that a scientist, Muslim or not, has gone to the Koran and said "OMG!! This book says [whatever claim about the expanding universe/atoms/quantum mechanics, etc]!!" and THEN gone out and made that real-world scientific discovery? "Scientific miracles in the koran" is the dumb, lazy kid in class who always waits for SOMEONE ELSE to give the right answer to the teacher's question, and then straight afterwards he yells out "but... but... but I SWEAR, I really was JUST ABOUT to say that exact same thing!!!" And then he points at some barely-legible scribble in his notebook, so vague that it could say literally anything, claiming that it REALLY says "energy = mass times the speed of light squared", if you just know how interpret it, properly... And who's too stupid to figure out why that doesn't count as "being the one who actually answered the question".
27:45 lol, listen to the desperation in that plaintive, heart-felt "No!!!!" Poor guy really, really, really, REALLY wants to believe that the observation of how, if you drop a rock into the ocean, at a certain depth it gets too dark to see that rock, requires literal magic, doesn't he? I thought Christian apologetics were weak, but Islam's BEST apologetics are straight-up "got-your-nose"-tier. If the koran said that Mohammed pulled a coin from behind some guy's ear, they'd claim that as "proof of a miracle"... and even more tragic, they'd sincerely BELIEVE it...
@@Thesortvokter yea definitely heard that one before. Funny how average Muslims always love to mention 5:32 but NEVER 5:33. Talk about out of context lol, and hypocrisy for that matter.

It was just too aggressive and self-rigtheous. I couldn’t feel any beauty in it at all. Sorry if I’ve offended anyone here. It just my truth.
@@sorguvasfen2426 That’s how I felt. I felt that every second verse was eith insulting me or threatening me as a non-believer. It's true that, in areas with no natural, easy-to-refine iron deposits, meteoric iron was used, and highly prized. Egyptian pharoahs were found with a dagger of meteoric iron, and Inuit/Eskimos had no iron except meteoric iron. But those cultures were very much the exception, not the rule- Through-out the middle-east and Nth Africa the vast majority of cultures smelted (non-meteoric) iron ore, just like we do today. So the idea that the verse is somehow (?) talking about meteoric iron makes no sense, and can't be derived from the text- It can only be INSERTED into the text, because today, in mohammed's era, and any other time, the vast majority of iron used is non-meteoric. It's just the exact same mental gymnastics that ALL religions do. Or even believer in "prophets" like Nostradamus or Edgar Cayce; they ALL have texts with super-vague statements, that believers twist, to say what they want/need it to say. And with Islam, and every other religion, they only ever do that AFTER the real-world discovery has been made- Never once has anyone used one of these """prophesys""" to prophesize any event/discovery, BEFORE the event/discovery (which really makes them NOT "prophesy", at all). No-one ever saw that verse BEFORE we knew of meteoric iron, and said "Wow, this verse that says nothing about meteors at all is OBVIOUSLY saying that meteors contain iron!!" and then gone out and made the real-world discovery to back up... There's just been 50,000,000 cases of Mormons, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Scientologists, etc, waiting until AFTER a real-world discovery is made, and then saying "Omg!!! My holy book TOTALLY prophesized this exact thing.... IF you use my super-special interpretation method..." By Muslim standards, the nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill" totally "prophesized" the 911 wtc attacks, because the rhyme talks about two things which "came tumbling down", so it MUST have been referring to the Twin Towers!! How could anyone reject such undeniable PROOF!!
Ramses II "Originally Ramesses II was buried in the tomb KV7[75] in the Valley of the Kings, but because of looting, priests later transferred the body to a holding- area, re-wrapped it, and placed it inside the tomb of queen Ahmose Inhapy" - Ramesses II, Wikipedia. "In 1975, Maurice Bucaille, a French doctor, examined the mummy at the Cairo Museum and found it in poor condition." - Ramesses II, Wikipedia.
I think what’s most telling is when it fits their narratives it’s metaphorical but when it needs to be read literally then it’s literal they switch interpretation style depending on what they need it to say
"Pearl diving may have been happening more than 7,000 years ago" "The history of pearl diving in the UAE is ancient, with archaeologists finding evidence of this tradition dating back more than 7,000 years ago. I wish I had reviewed this prior to this call. The actual information in no way supports the idea that this is a miracle. We have no idea which Pharaoh the Quran would be refering to nor do we have a mummy of a drowned Pharaoh. Muslims really need to stop believing in folk tales.

Agreed. I feel the same about those who refer to Arabs or Muslims as "Abduls" or "Abdools". It's unnecessary bigotry and ad-hominem attacks that takes away from the main issues of belief, evidence, reason and open discussion.

about the darkness of the ocean: The verse is giving an example of what it's like to not have Allah's light in your life. The example only works if the audience already knows that the ocean is dark. The Miracle would have to be that all people knew this about deep water! It must have been common knowledge.

Poor guy really, really, really, REALLY wants to believe that the observation of how, if you drop a rock into the ocean, at a certain depth it gets too dark to see that rock, requires literal magic, doesn't he?
I thought Christian apologetics were weak, but Islam's BEST apologetics are straight-up "got-your-nose"-tier. If the koran said that Mohammed pulled a coin from behind some guy's ear, they'd claim that as "proof of a miracle"... and even more tragic, they'd sincerely BELIEVE it...
"Got your nose" apologetics made me chuckle.

Apparently, meteoric iron was the first iron used in Egypt, where for a long time it was a lot rarer and more precious than gold.
IF you use my super-special interpretation method..."
By Muslim standards, the nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill" totally "prophesized" the 911 wtc attacks, because the rhyme talks about two things which "came tumbling down", so it MUST have been referring to the Twin Towers!! How could anyone reject such undeniable PROOF!!
And they called it “metal from heaven”. They knew it was meteoric iron - fact (look it up)
In fact they found a knife in Tutankhamen's tomb, the blade of which was made from meteoric iron.
