Man I honestly love the design, it was a no-brainer for me to buy this kit as I love that it's similar to the gundams from the 00 series, the mechanical designer knows how to make grade a designs.
the underside of the shield, side skirts and knees are covered with frame parts, which is always a huge plus for me. definitely looks better after repainting with the supposed colour

Thank you! They really needed more room to stretch their legs honestly, since they seem to have come from nowhere. Personally, I'd have them teased in the protest in Episode 4, shrouded in shadow with glowing eyes before fully showing up in Episode 10.
I like the clear color on it's own, but I prefer it sticks to the lineart because the design language of this Gundam is heavy firepower, heavy armor, like a tank with gatling gun so the more bright color is pretty off. I prefer the lineart's more subtle color and the color that would suit Ur the most is army green. Also, if I paint this kit in army green, the chin strap lookalike would be painted in black because it look like a beard
Now that you say that, it really does give off Command vibes if you mod it in a certain way. Interesting point for why green suits this better than teal or blue
I like the design of Lfrith Ur. The design is so bulky reminds me of Virtue, Seravee, Raphael, & Age 3. And for armaments of Beam Gatling Gun reminds me of HeavyArms and Leopard.
Seeing the other ports, I have a feeling the Ur will have a ‘Full Armor’ weapon akin to the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam or Full Armor Gundam. I would pick this up for customization for the ports and custom colors.

Excluding the legs, the body looks very like 00 Command Quanta! Edit: after pulling the Quanta from the shelf it looks more streamlined and less military!
@@mj2005gundam i though of custom build with for the Lfrit Ur where i would make it a heavy-arms like. It would require 2 of the kit so i can get a second minigun ( one in each arm ), since the back has 3 attachment point add 2 builders parts MS cannon/launcher or fin funnels and move the antidote to the middle above the thuster. Either paint it like heavy arms (green, orange and white) or go full Sazaby red if o go with the fin funnels!
I thought it was gonna be robin egg blue from the early photos of the kit. Glad it isn't the case. Still, I prefer my kits to look accurate to the media, and I'm glad you liked the final paint job
The current color scheme, I can bear with it (I actually preferred it over the anime one.) But I'm concerned about the joints going to get loose overtime. Might have to learn some techniques to tighten them up eventually.
Like I said, to each their own with the colors. It's not that big a deal personally. But when the joints get loose so easily after just a few tests and a review session, that's when things get concerning
When the tone of the colour is wrong to begin with, in this instance being toned more a blue instead of a green, no amount of matte topcoat would help fix that without a full repaint first. Anyway, thank you for the support mate.
They don't have the in-mold patterns like the Aerial and Lfrith, but the details for the Shell Units are separately molded parts you can either leave along, use the stickers for, or paint over however you desire

Because Bandai does not like doing 00 Pbandai even though 90% of them are easy to do as simple repaints and slight remolds. We got Cherudim Saga mold and yet they have not touched it at all since Battlelouge years ago!

I airbrushed it, since the paint is a mix of gaianotes stone green and black. There is no spray I could think of that's remotely close to the colour of the line art
Well, it mainly features simple shapes instead of complex wiring lines like the Lfrith and Aerial, so maybe they didn't feel like it was necessary? It's guesswork

That's the real gripe I have with this kit, and in fact any of the previous G-Witch kits that suffer from inaccurate colors. However, there's no justifiable reason for this to be the case on the Ur, when the others can be BS'ed to have been based on the lighting of a certain battle or something

I’d get it if they made two different sets with two different colorations or something, but it absolutely does not represent the line art or the themes of the mech itself. Especially when it’s sister-kit is so faithful to the linework.

Sadly, the structure and color accuracy of this kit is the worst out of all of them, so there is some work to be done

Something tells me that a double topcoat can make the Lfrith Ur more stable when moving especially the joint on the backpack.

Ur is an abbreviation of the rune "Urzu", so it's just a name instead of prototype.
