These tutorials are exactly what I need. A lot of tutorials go over explaining basic sound design and effects over and over and it's a waste of time for a lot of us. If you say "add some reverb", that's enough for me. These are the perfect pace for me.
EDIT: How do you write such catchy melodies? I'd love a tutorial on that. I can write a melody in key that works but yours are that commercial catchiness that I have trouble achieving.

Actually my cats help me a lot for creating melodies ;)
More "seriously": I make them quite intuitively now ! In fact, my melodies are composed of a lot of small "patterns" that I heard in many songs through the years, and they come out in one way or another, without me being able to tell you when/how it's getting there!
So my advice is: keep your ears and your heart open to new melodies you hear, and try to imitate/recreate these, that's a good way to train your ear to work with your hand (by drawing notes on fl studio) :D
Also there are more "theoretical ways" to do it, but I feel like they tend to limit/direct your creativity, which is obviously not what we are looking for !

About the bad resonances and cutting the sound, how do you know how far down you should pull/cut with the EQ? Is there a rule for that?
