Great Video! This is less DMing focused but I might add that along with the preparation with D&D, Character RP, Food, and Water... That you should prepare Mentally/emotionally to be drained... I love Conventions, they're a lot of fun, but they can take a lot out of you. it's probably best to plan to have some chill time during and after. I know I was pretty spent mentally afterward.
Nice video, jumps straight into the meat and potatoes without a long intro. Were you running a game on your own accord, or did you sign up with some company that manages DMs like Baldman Games? I've been thinking about DM'ing for PAX West and ECCC.

I played through Cleric Games. Baldman wasn't there the year I was there.
Good tips
I hope to get back to conventions someday.
Where was this convention?
Emerald City ComicCon in Seattle WA
@@DungeonMasterJosh cool
I was wondering because I never heard of it. Way on the other side of the country
@@RIVERSRPGChannel Yeah, I had never heard of it until I moved here.
Good Lord man. After Dming for 4 hours I get hungry. And you played DnD hungry? That's crazy.
Haha, mistakes were made. Next time I'm bringing lots of snacks.
