His ult is so hard to "plan for" but when you start hearing the enemy team drop all their ults, typically a safe bet to just go for it lol Your vids are awesome, and you're crazy good too. Def getting some Zenyatta vibes from him. He has little to no movement but his damage and ult or S tier. It means he's an easy target but a force to be reckoned with. I think the only thing that could make him OP is depending on his support duo game.

Man said Adam Warlock guide. Bro pop his heal when you need to. Protect your team with his shared damage ability against ults or big pushes. Rez when you die if your team is alive or cancel it if your team dies, and don't die in teamfights so you can ult. That's it. That's the character. Guy didn't even add nuanced tips like how you can heal while charging up his alt fire. Or the fact that his primary attack is hitscan and his alt is a projectile. Or how you have to lead his alt even more than you think because there's a delay before he shoots.
All of those are pretty obvious tho, understanding what ability does makes it obvious what you need to do. So the video was great imo (also he said everything you said in the first part of your comment) Everything about his alt and normal fire are things you find out just by playing the character and getting good with aiming with his projectiles in general. Very cool tip about healing and shooting at the same time tho
Great guide! Adam feels a touch overtuned to me (automatic Rez for all teammates over 10 seconds feels a bit too good, even for an ultimate), but his normal abilities don’t seem to be truly OP. Your stats at the end show that while you were unquestionably MVP, other strategists can keep up with your healing output. If anything, his killing power might be a touch high, but not overwhelmingly so. Excited to give him a try!
His abilities are low enough that he's able to have that rez though. Warlock's killing power is the only actual self defense he has compared to the other Supports who can move or stun. Warlock is a sitting duck if your team mates wont peel.

you're missing key information. you don't even mention the Ultimates range ... it doesn't automatically rez every single dead teammate, it rezzes dead teammates WITHIN A CERTAIN RANGE of the ultimate at cast time. Warlock can also pop the ult, placing the rez beacon where they are revived, but then walk towards the souls of the fallen allies in order to pick up the people who were out of range. There are player icons above the ultimate that tell you who all is going to be rezzed, and a little electric indicator on the respawn timers of allies that are in range that isn't present for dead souls that are not in range. Google reddit clips of this.That's the balance dynamic with his kit: you have to position yourself far enough from enemies to not get dove, but still close enough to do damage to them and heal/rez your teammates.
so basically adam warlock knows when their teammates r going to revive so he dosent waste his ult and how does the pick up mechanic work exactly if they arent in range
Played him for 3 hours and got the 50 revives challenge done and i can day hes probably the most fun healer in the beta imo, but his ult seems rather finicky. Can't use it in spawn or else nothing happens, but when out of spawn you can either ult directly outside of spawn, or feet away and itll work some times. Also, i figured the 10s timer meant anyone died instantly respawns there but it seems like its only for people that already died, and the ones who died after the ult, or a few seconds before ult was placed down then they spawn back at main spawn. I've found the best way to do it is to either hide somewhere close bye or self revive right after the opponents waste uots then drop yours and hope your other abilities can help keeo your team alice, which most times it should. But otherwise hes a ton if fun and im loving him!
I know you say you had to choose between the two matches but why not just show us both? Or you could break them down into two different videos if you really wanted too. As a support main I’d really like to see the healer side of this character in a match with some explanation
I'm confused on his ultimate. In the video you say that it revives teammates that die during the 10 seconds your ult is up but not those that are already dead. But then in the suggested combo he revives all his teammates that are already dead. Am I misunderstanding something?
He says it Does revive allies that are currently dead and revives allies that die during the 10 seconds. "unlike what people think" - meaning people think it only does one or the other. he says "it dosnt just" - meaning it does do borh. Hopefully this clears is up let me know if you have any other questions. :P
Yesterday in a match I was able to hold down the A button and Adam Warlock floated up and fell when released. The next match I was not able to do it again nuff not ever since! Anyone know about this floating ability?

i tried pulling off the suggested combo, but for some reason it didn’t work? had 3 eliminated teammates and i used warlock’s ultimate in a safe spot thinking i’d revive the teammates, but nope
@@Krusnik66 hope u can play him soon bc his cooldowns are really long which compensates as to why he has multiple rez abilities. he cant solo heal either which pushes him to rez his team more

They addressed this in the Dev livestream by saying we changed them from doombot to galacta and made them more cute basically

It's proximity based off Warlock. Once you ult, if there's any teammates too far away for rez, move to them.

What happens if he were in the same team as Rocket? Rocket can also respawn players, wouldn't this result in almost nothing staying dead?
u revive teammates with low health which in most cases, ur teammates die before they can do anything after rez
