- Pop’s in the hospital, but I’ve been scheduled as the Keynote speaker at Homesteaders of American for a year now. Dad told me to “Go. You’ve got to live my life. That’s what my dad told me (when he was dying).” This is what’s going on and here are some secrets for sourcing a great Farm sitter (so you don’t get burned out).

You have a great Dad Justin. I lost both my Dads at 50 and I am now 50. I don't plan on going anywhere, my son is 16 and he still needs his Dad around. I just had my second total hip replacement a week ago and they were 20 years on hold. I'm looking forward to the best maybe 50 years of my life. Your Dad must be so proud of you and your family. My dad died from small cell lung cancer in 2017. At the end, his kidneys quit working and he became septic. This brings back memories of that. Thoughts and prayers sent!

I was thinking last night, that it was so good that he lived to see you carry on with the farm and that the children might also. I believe the framework fits over an existing toilet. It just provides arms for stability and easy on and off.

My daughter uses post snap and we all love it. Too long to wait for pictures and time once she gets back from wherever and with this app, I get messages and pictures when she is thinking about me which is so cool. The girls look completely able to take care of things which I know is a relief. Tell your Dad thanks for sharing so much with us. He is a star for sure.

I am scheduled to go to the Homesteader's Conference so looking forward to meeting people live I see on YOU TUBE. I was praying for you and your dad and wondering about your decision to leave and join us. We all do what we can. I appreciate your sharing of your life, difficult decisions and am not surprised your father encouraged you to go, Your parents prepared you for this moment as you prepared the girls and other farm sitter folks to leave the farm for your trip to the Conference. We all are stewards, leaving the animals, leaving the farm, knowing that you have made the best decision and we welcome you as you arrive and of course understand if you are called away. Thanks for all you do and sharing your journey and your family.

Your Dad is a tough guy. Bless him, all my best to him and your family. My Dad just turned 82 in September and was very ill last year and he is back in remission with his cancer. It's been 9 plus years of fighting for him and us as a family.
